[Completed] [Q] Android devices completely undetected by computer

Hi,
I've ran through quite a few forum threads and found that most people have issues with USB Debugging, ADB installation in download modes, etc. But mine is not of that nature.
The 2 devices I own are the ASUS Fonepad 7 (ME371CL) and OnePlus One. Both devices when plugged into various USB ports using different USB cables generate a very slow charge and 0 recognition from the computer. I have tried disabling/enabling USB debugging, selecting/deselecting PTP/MTP modes, rebooted both devices and PC several times. I've tried installing the latest Samsung USB Device drivers, Intel USB device drivers. There is 0 indication of a device being detected in Device Manager when plugged in. I've installed Deview and removed any sort of Android/ADB/OnePlus/ASUS related drivers and all this yield no results..
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I believe my problem is not exclusive to only the FonePad 7 but to Android devices in general.. Also, there aren't many users of the particular model that I'm using..

I understand your problem but XDA Assist is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance.
Good luck

[Completed] "Software Update Failed" Samsung galaxy s4 Sch-I545

While trying to downgrade from 5.1 to 4.4.2 using Odin for my Samsung galaxy S4 , the process failed and now whenever i boot my phone it says "Software Update Failed" your device didn't update successfully. use the Verizon software repair assistant on a computer to repair your device and complete the update. Then i looked around and found a way to get Verizon software update and pluged in my phone but the software can't seems to recognize my phone even though the picture showed that the phone is connected to my PC. I tried flashing the stock file for my phone (Sch-i545) but they all failed. Please help me fix this problem, i really need my phone.
Thanks.

[Completed] hello i just bought an alcatel one touch pop astro stuck in recovery mode please help

its stuck in recovery mode and i cant get it out of that mode
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The first thing you'll want to do is register on XDA here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/register.php. Unfortunately there is not a specific forum for your device and very little information about it on XDA. But try asking your question here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259645&page=1176. If you've tried any modding, rooting, etc. to your device mention that also. Hopefully someone with your device will be able to help.

On top of that, Odin doesn't recognize the usb connection, It does, however, sometimes detect something other than my phone (wireless mouse, video device or other unknown device). Is it bricked?

Since it is detecting some device, seems like I should be able to direct it to the correct driver. So far, no luck...
