How can I share a Facebook video - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys,
I do not have a facebook account so never really mattered. Recently however, I convinced my daughter to switch from the iphone to the S6. With a little research I managed to transfer her whatsapp archive to the S6.
Her problem now is that she cannot share her facebook videos through whatsapp On her iphone she could go to facebook and select share and choose whatsapp to send a link of the video to her friends. This option does not seem to be available on Android.
I did try to search for this on xda but either I have not put it correctly or this has not been queried earlier (although I would be surprised if it hasn't).
Any help would be great as the rest of the family has always been on Android and we used to make fun of my daughter for using a lame device!
Thanks!

Facebook

Hey there,
I have decided that I truly despise the native windows mobile facebook app. Is there any other (preferably free) ones that are good? I do think the current iphone one is quite good and easy to use, is there anyway to use that on the HD2? The WinMo one is just a pain in the arse to be honest.
Thanks
xx
I just use the touch site, works well, better than the native app.
the touch site lots of times doesnt work for sending messages it doesnt recognize when i type into the box
Hi all,
I've tried the facebook mobile site, touch site, facebook lite and market place app and they all have bad points. The worst is not all your friends status updates show. I tend to use the full site on my HD2 internet browser. Saves loads of problems. Will probably keep on using it till we get a good facebook app that is similar to the iphone app
can't really agree that the iphone facebook app is all that great though...
privacy issues is one thing, where syncing your contact with the iphone facebook app allows facebook the right to own every contact information in your iphone!
and their syncing system allows strangers on facebook to be synced to your iphone contacts... perhaps they synced it with contact information they got from other iphone users, based on phone no.s and etc, but ignoring country and area codes, which ends up syncing your iphone contact to a stranger in facebook, because they have the same phone no. (excluding country code)... that alone is scary enuf...
at least i'm happy with HD2's manila facebook integration, a little manual, but safer, and the album viewing is just smooth, with auto update of the avatar on the phone...
the app is not that impressive them, i have to admit... but iphone's privacy violation just gives me the jitters...

"Mobile technology is pretty amazing, but getting the most out of it can sometimes be challenging. mIQ was created to make it easy for users to unleash the potential of their mobile phone. mIQ from Best Buy Mobile helps users sync their contacts, text messages, calendar events, calls, photos, videos, and internet favorites from their mobile phones to their private web-based mIQ account. Once in sync, the user can backup and interact with their information, share their experiences with friends and social sites, discover the top solutions available for their phones, and restore their content when moving from one phone to the next.
The mIQ service keeps the phone and the web constantly connected, so that the stuff done on one automatically shows up on the other in just a few seconds, helping users access and share their stuff whether they’re on the go or in front of their computers – no cables or effort required!"
I'll be honest, I have been working for bbym a year and a half. I have never installed this app on anyone's phone (android or not).
I'd never synchronize my information outside of something I have installed myself and know is secure, or with Google. That's the only 2 places I will give out all that information to.

Its BestBuy & the creators of Dashwire.
If you are using Windows Mobile do NOT install this or rely on it. It crashed about three weeks ago and despite the "engineers working on this as their number one priority" it will not allow you to connect to their server and sync your data.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to get around this error.
Every single Windows Mobile user out there that is trying to log in to mIQ on their phone is getting the same message.
Please know that we are working on it! Fixing this is our team's number one priority. We know it's taking forever to solve and we know it's frustrating. We wish there was a simple solution, but as of this moment, there isn't.
We will update you as soon as it's back up and running.
We know this won't be acceptable for some of you, please email us at [email protected] if you would like your account deleted.
Sincerely,
mIQ

I bought a brand new Nexus 5 and happy as a giddy clam, BUT I have serious issues with downloading attachments in the gmail app.
There are various issues such as attachments wont download, when they do the save option is blanked out, if its not blanked out I hit save but it doesnt show up anywhere on my device, not in the Gallery app nor the Photos app.
I set up my own pop3 email account and just dont know what is wrong.
Hope someone will be able to help me.

Whatsapp Transfer - Iphone to android (Freeware)

Hello,
Has anybody found an alternative solution to Wazzapmigrator (as it is not free on android play anymore). I am looking to moving all whatsapp chats and media from an iphone to a new samsung handset. Or is this not possible at all?
Look forward to your comments.
cheers!

But ISO on the iphone has iCloud as Default to backup Whatsapp. Plus As it's an 8gb iphone i cannot complete a full backup? Will appreciate if there is a solution!. Will Whatsapp on android recognise ChatStorage.sqlite (Chat saves on Whatsapp) if it is saved on google drive?
I downloaded Backuptrans iPhone WhatsApp to Android Transfer to switch my whatsapp data when I got my Galaxy Note 5. It is also a paid one but worked smoonthly. If your whatsapp chats are important enough, just purchase the program. No free one can help currently.
Google 'LatestOnNet.com' guide on transferring WhatsApp from iPhone to Android. I've recently done this. It works. Sorry, I'm not allowed to post the link here. So, you better Google the article.

Google control on exchanging WhatsApp from iPhone to Android. I've as of late done this. It works. Apologies, I'm not permitted to post the connection here. Along these lines, you better Google the article.

Confusion about migrating from iOS to Android

I have just purchased a Huawei P20 Pro and it should be with me any day now.
I have been an iOS user for the past number of years and I have some questions about transferring some stuff.
I read the tutorial here and am wondering if it's really that simple?
I am also wondering if I need this contacts app instead of the one the Huawei has installed (presuming the Huawei comes with one installed!)
Any advice is appreciated!
First things first, what do you want to be transferred? Phone book is simple enough, sync to google account (gmail) wil do.
Whatsapp is slightly more tedious, download the database then export to android whatsapp.
What others do you need transfered?
Photos and videos i assume you can transfer from iphone to pc.. gen from pc to your new phone.
Having said that, this app looks interesting.

Hi vash_h
I don’t use a lot of apps. I do think use Whatsapp and it would be nice if I could get all my old messages and pictures.
