I recently flashed CM12.1 on my Moto G. I made a backup before I did, but I accidentally saved it to the internal storage instead of my SD card, and I proceeded to wipe all the data so I could install the rom. CM12 is giving me some issues and I want to go back to the rom that came with the phone.
If anyone has a backup, I'd really appreciate it if you could upload it somewhere and give me the link.
Thx

There's a guide on the OP. I guess you are trying to flash with TWRP. You need flash on bootloader.

I just rooted my Moto G (CWM on it), but when I flashed a rom, is got stuck on the bootlogo.
I installed a newer version of CWM, and flashed a rom again, still stuck, and the newer version of CWM can't see my backup..
What now? please help me...

Question 1: before you flashed the rom, what wipe options did you select?
Question 2: can u get into the bootloader?
I wiped cache and dalvik. (and I did factory reset to)
and yes, I can even start CWM, but I can't find my backup

So it's not in a bootloop anymore? I use TWRP not CWM but I wouldn't think that updating versions would change the source destination path of the backup. Sidenote: after I rooted and backedup my G for the first time, the auto generated name (which was that time/date stamp) had a weird date of sometime in the 1970's and I wasn't able to use that backup because it didn't backup the /system data for some reason. I could still see the backup tho, just not use it

Nope, no bootloop, I hold the powerbutton for 5 seconds. But that I can't find my backups is the real problem, I really can't find my backup anywhere (I can use a filemanager in CWM)

I can't say where the backup went but if u freshly unlocked and rooted it before backing up, there can't be that much data lost! You would need to just reflash the stock firmware and backup if that is your intent; to have a stock backup  and I'm happy it's no longer in a bootloop. I would suggest going forward to save nandroid backups to usb-otg storage device so it can't be wiped from the phone.
I flashed the stock rom with this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219) but I am still stuck in bootscreen..
So flashing roms doesn't go well.. What now? (thanks for helping!)
And now my phone can't even see my internal storage anymore...

I faced a similar issue and i have found a answer another user gave me after countless "did you wipe this/ DID YOU WIPE THAT? responses"
what i did was i downgraded to JB 4.3 img ad once i flashed that and it booted up and flashed the philz edition cwm and then i was able to insatll a custom rom.
before this i was on stck 4.4.2 and NO custom rom booted past bootlogo until this solution.
btw i donwgraded to 4.3 in fastboot and flashed custom rom in cmw.

When you downgraded to JB did you also wipe the internal SD or did you just flash system and kernel via fastboot?

So yesterday I made a really dumb decision by using the TWRP Theme Manager on XDA to use a theme, even though I had TWRP 2.6 instead of 2.7. I tried to reboot, but it was in a bootloop. I got back to the recovery and wiped everything, then flashed my ROM, but it's still in bootloop. I tried flashing CWM with fastboot, but my phone is not recognized. Can anyone help me, please? I want to flash the stock firmware, but I don't know which one is correct. I have XT1032. Thanks.
Edit:fixed
Do you have proper drivers to install recovery? And can you acess the recovery?

I was able to flash CWM, but after flashing my ROM and gapps, I still get a bootloop. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Edit: I found out how to delete the theme, will report back.
edit 2: I still get a bootloop after flashing my ROM! Does anyone know a solution? Please?

Update your recovery,twrp2.6 is no good for kitkat roms. You can flash an updated recovery in your recovery.

you make a backup in recovery, then dirty flash, dont wipe a single thing, 444 over it. if alls well after, then perfect. if you have issues, you have that backup in recovery to restore

Unfortunately my clairvoyant skills aren't working today
perhaps you could elaborate on the following 2 things
1) what zip are you flashing?
2) what error are you getting?

The pop up I get every 3 days for me to update my device to 4.4.3 I believe.. It's located in twrp under cache... When I try flashing it says error in red lettering ... Also I tried Uninstalling Xposed but seems not to change anything

Don't use OTA updates. Just manually flash a rooted stock ROM via TWRP.
Click the link in my signature and go to the "resources" section. You'll find a full rooted, PURE STOCK 4.4.4 rom there.
Copy it to your /sdcard, take a FULL nandroid backup then flash the ROM.

if the dirty flash is successful, you wont lose a thing, except time. if you have to go back and wipe, you will lose your data. so, make a backup in recovery first, before the dirty flash.

How did you get this to work? I manually dropped the file on the sdcard, installed and got an error. I then installed it using the superADB tool. went to install in TWRP, selected the file and confirmed the flash. error? Feels like I'm missing a step.

I just popped out my sdcard, put it into my laptop, copied the file onto the root directory, put it back into the phone, it booted intor TWRP and flashed the file. Maybe you got a bad download?
Put the zip file on my external sd> turn phone on> TWRP Install the file> error?????
this fixed it for me

Today, i formatted my sd card as internal in my moto e xt1022 running cm13. Everything seemed fine until i thought i should reboot my phone, but after rebooting, my phone is stuck on the bootloader unlocked warning. it doesn't go past that.
Restarting after formatting sdcard as internal will fix your problem they said..... -_-
please help!!:crying:
Maybe try to relock the bootloader could help.

can't do that for now.....
this problem shouldn't have occurred in the first place cause searching around the net i found that people's problems were fixed by restarting...not caused :'(
Can you boot to recovery mode and try to sideload the original ROM or cm13?Maybe that could fix this issue.

yup i can.....i have the cm13 rom file......but i am trying to search for a solution or workaround for this..... if i can't find any than that will be the only option i have .....
I suggest you go with this to avoid any further headache. This could have been done due some corruption at the os level while switching the storage.

use below in cmd prompt assuming you have right .img file "mfastboot flash recovery *-*.img " ) ----*-* enter image file name, Flash it I am sure it will work.
