Themes for Samsung Galaxy™
it took some searching but I finally found it - thanks - will check this out. Wish it was easier to find themes on Theme Store. No easy way to search that I can find - am I missing something or do you just have to scroll thru all the themes to find the one you like? It is getting pretty unmanagable... I didn't think to search by Most recent - dummy me - but it would be nice if you could search by name...
+1 on that. Tried to find avengers theme but no way to search.

Thanks a lot, finally found the theme store BUT all I see there are launcher themes
and icons for the touchwiz launcher.
I did not see that black dialer screen or any other parts of that black theme.
Here is what I mean, I am looking to find the black theme like the screenshot below
of the dialer which sooty posted which would also contain matching black themed
screens for the other parts of the phone like contacts, settings messaging and other
stock screens of the phone.
So I guess that the theme store is only for those people who want to use and theme
their stock touchwiz launcher, it's icons and nothing else.
I don't even use the touchwiz launcher but I would love to get that black dialer screen
which sooty posted along with all the other matching black themed parts of the phone.
What I am looking for is a complete dark/black background theme which includes a dialer
similar to the one which sooty posted. Why he posted the dialer screenshot I will never know.

Download and install the theme and you get those to see all of the theme tap on a theme in the store then you can scroll through the screenshots of it

Can someone put a link here for complete black theme. Its confusing & takes time to search.
EDIT: ok i found it. Very nice theme. Has any one tried on NOTE4 or will it work on note 4 by any means??

Comps look amazing, actual theme is not impressive at all. Thanks for the update though, obviously this theme is just not for me.
The theme looks much different when its installed vs the mockup the OP included in his post... all that time searching for the theme, and was disappointed.

I installed this theme via the apk and theme chooser. Now the color of the font used to show the text of a tweet or facebook status in their respective widgets is too dark to read. It is a very dark grey on a black background. If I switch to another theme it goes to black text with white background. Please make the text more in contrast with the background.
i got a couple questions, 1. will this work on my lg optimus s? 2. i am actually interested in the blue dialer and blue dialer background only is there a way for me to just install that portion? ...holy crap i need this dialer lol, i love android but HATE the green dialer and all the green android uses

Not sure about that one, understand that the theme chooser apk is more for devices that I do not update from day to day or for people who do not want to be bothered with flashing every day. But I will look into it. Thanks for the feedback.

Is CM7 available for the Optimus S?
sorry for the double post, in case you dont see it....thanks for the quick response! infact there is a cm7 rom availible for lg optimus s but i am not running it yet! im currently running the latest ThundeROM V1.8.2 can you make this happen? the blue looks so much better then the green, like i said im just interested in the dailer & dialer background portin which has been bugging me all this time and until now i know i dont have to deal with it lol
Works on my Aria with the APK. Good Job, looks good. Although, the rotary, unlocker, well say, is the same, Not blue.
It's my understanding the theme chooser app does not change the lock screen. His lock screen looks that way because he said it was originally a flashed theme.

what do you mean by you cant keep it dark?.. what image editor are you using?.. i use photoshop cs6 and the only tools i use are color replacement tool and paint bucket tool and some other adjustment tools... im about to finish my black theme and i flashed the sysUI yesterday and its black like it should be....
it should also work for you since you have bases.. you'll just have to resize and edit...

Looks good, Darkman's Rom N8000-XXCMB2-XACMB2-deodexed. But looks bad dark font on a dark background in some sections of Settings, e.g. such as Display - Wallpapper. And in the settings Home Screen items are not visible.

my settings is white text on blue background.. i can see it. In the homescreen mines is black on black but i dont know how to change it without messing up my black theme..

This has been requested a bunch, so I decided to put one together until others reach the Samsung Theme Store. Just remember, not everything can be themed with these themes, and I can't control all of the text throughout the entire theme. So you may run into a few black on black/white on white text issues. I'm trying my best to track them down. This just gives you something to play with until we get better themes in the store.
(Huge thanks to cambunch for letting me use his Material Design Theme as a base.)
What is required to flash this theme:
-Root
-The ability to install the Urban theme from the Theme Store
-One of these to flash the theme. FlashFire or TWRP
-The ability to follow directions that are listed below
Screenshots:
Instructions:
To use this theme you have to have the Urban Theme installed on your device before flashing. You can find the Urban Theme in the Samsung Theme Store under the section for Different landscapes of city section. You can also find it by finding any theme by SIDI and clicking the more button. If you can't find it you can go HERE and manually install the apk. Huge thanks to @Gunthermic for his stock theme thread.
Steps:
1- If at all possible, have a backup before flashing a theme or mod.
2- Have the Urban Theme Applied.
3- Download Black and White Theme and put on your device.
4- Locate and flash the theme using FlashFire or flashing the zip in TWRP.
FlashFire can be found HERE if you don't have TWRP.
***Wallpapers don't change when the theme is flashed. My included wallpapers can be found in the wallpaper picker when you choose to change it.
***Any Updates that I come out with can be flashed over the version you are running now as long as you still have the theme applied before flashing.
Troubleshooting or Uninstalling:
Thanks cambunch for the troubleshooting section.
If you run into issues with this theme not applying properly, please uninstall it from the Theme app and choose the default theme. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER THEME APPLIED BEFORE DELETING ANY FILES. Then, using a file browser with root access, remove any of the following left on your phone:
all of the folders in /data/app/ begining with br.org.sidi.Urban
/data/overlays/font/br.org.sidi.Urban0
/data/overlays/preview/br.org.sidi.Urban
/data/overlays/lockwallpaper/br_org_sidi_Urban_wallpaper.png
/data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/br.org.sidi.Urban.json
Reboot after deleting these files. Then re-download Urban using the Theme Store and apply the theme. Make sure the regular Urban theme is working on your phone, then flash the ZIP.

Thanks. There's a few text issues that i haven't been able to track down and i don't care much for the TW Launcher icons. But i suck at creating icons so they'll have to do for now.

Just some of the main ones in the TW Launcher. I'm not a huge fan of the ones i used, but I'm not very good at creating my own icons.
If you don't like them, change to a different theme, then back to mine and for some reason the stock icons show again. Not sure why it does that.
I've been running Apex launcher with an icon pack on mine. I'm not a very big fan of the TW Launcher.
How do people get the dark themes on their phones? I'm talking about when you go into the settings page or battery stats, it's dark rather than white.

Long press on home screen, select themes, download a dark theme. I'm using a theme called, Mattblack. Great theme.
Try Marshmallow_Dark in Theme Store i just found this evening it looks so coo!

I was able (Asia) to download Material Black ($0.99) from US theme store. Try to remove your SIM card, force stop and clear cache/clear data on Theme Store via Manage Applications setting. Then Reboot your device and connect to a VPN app where you can connect to United States location. The one I used is Psiphon app. Once connected to VPN (US location), go to themes store. It will ask for a country and select the desired country where your theme store to connect to.
Please note that when you bring back your sim, it will connect again to your location. so as long as ur on US store, download everything you want so that it will be on your My Themes section.
Hope it will work for you.
Updated: Included VPN step. Forgot to mention to connect to VPN app with US location.
Material dark is free and in the theme store. I am also in Europe

Material Dark is free. But there is a Material Black worth $0.99 which is only available in US theme store. The difference, material dark is grey while the other is in deep black. Really worth it for its price.

any workaround on this restriction guys ?
I'm looking for a theme that is exactly the same as stock, with stock icons, except with dark status bar and etc. Is there one? Or is there a way to keep stock icons and just change colors,?

I think the paid themes are only available on US theme store. Not sure.

If you're speaking about the Material Dark free theme I've just downloaded it from my S7E Italian nobrand SM-G35F using an Italian carrier.
Material Black theme can be purchased for 0.89 Euro, no limitations:
Vanilla theme.
I so wish that I had the icons from that to use with nova.

I cannot find it in the store. Is there any other to download it?
Has anyone tried Peanut with stock icons on Nougat? Pretty slick. Although the theme icons are good aswell but i like the stock icons more.

What do you think would be the best dark theme (with contrast) for the S8+?
I loaded the Material Dark theme that I used on my S7 Edge, and overall it looks good. Only thing that bugs me is the navigation bar color changes based on the app, from black to gray to transparent.
Okay, feels like a dumb question (I *am* finally upgraded to S8+ from Note4) - but where do I activate dark themes (non-root)? Tons of garbage in the play store, but I'd think it'd be built into Android 7 (been promised it for years)... any guidance appreciated.

Was about to test it, Had it also on my S7E.
But seems that some new designers are on the block, one for example is "Aire". might be worth checking it out. I'm testing the sd_black. not bad for the moment.

Long press an empty spot on the launcher /select wallpapers and theme/go to theme section in theme store/search for terms like material or dark.

OMG this pisses me off so much. I wish the user could decide the color and have it STAY that color. Aside from when it goes full transparent on the home screen or during media content. I use the Google keyboard with a dark theme and the white nav bar looks hideous.

Get NavBar app from the play Store and change the color to black
Added navbar plus this theme, still have annoying white on 'enter message' box in messages.
Also I'm hoping to have real dark theme, ie so that gmail is dark not white.
Any suggestion for either?

Yup, totally black, just like how I've set my windows machine (ie Visual studio).
Almost there, but still have a few random notification spots and above keyboard bars.

Yeah. I ended up switching to Samsung's high contrast theme. Wish they'd just do a black version stock theme like the one in the themes section.

The high contrast theme is nice, but I'd prefer the theme to have different messaging bubbles colors. If the messaging colors were black and orange (or some other color/ not pastel) rather than just black, it would be perfect.
I use a dark theme called MetalLine. Check it out in the theme store.
