I want to flash my S3, as it just came back from the shop with superuser installed, I assume it's rooted?(not sure)
.I have downloaded, odin, kies and the usb driver. I'm also downloading the rom [ROM][364MB][NB6]Revolutionary S5 V3.
Are they anything which I will need? I sorta rooted/flashed some devices before but that was long ago but I dont remember it too clearly. And also, the rom has a Patch V3 fix, which I do not know how to do use it, or if it is necessary to use it.
Appreciate any help I can get!

I want to give my S3 Mini Root Access to potentially start installing Custom Roms. However, researching the topic has gotten extremely confusing. I have the international version but I don't know from which country. I got it off Amazon.com. My questions are
1. How do I go about giving this S3 Mini root Access
2. How do I go back to the Stock ( Samsung FW/ Rom if I do not like the Rom I installed)
3. Are there easy methods to rooting with a MAC device? ( My main computer but I can find access to a windows computer if needed)

Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to root my phone. Now my question is that I would like to run a lag free system. Would changing the Rom fix that? Will I lose any features on my phone? I want a rom that is Simple ( google edition phone/ no bloatware) My current system is 4.2.1, would I need to stay on 4.2.1 to keep my features or that doesnt matter.
Please post that question in Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts may help you.
Long story short soft bricked my phone a few days ago. i was told that flashing a new rom through odin would do the trick but I cant simply flash the stock 4.4.2. Mostly on the account that Samsung issued 4.3 and 4.4 OTA. And when I do come across a rom chances are its flashable through a recovery, which is what I dont need, as my phone is not turning on.
Thanks in advance and much appreciated to anyone with advice.

I'm trying to figure this out, but I'm getting tangled up in my underpants. I just want to salvage my old Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510. It is old and slow and stupid. I've managed to put TWRP 2.2.0 on it, but that is it. I try to find a nice new shiny ROM, but get overwhelmed quickly. I thought I found one, but it needs a newer TWRP to install it, which I can't seem to find. Can someone just point me to a working TWRP (or CM) and a ROM that will work on this old tab? I will try to install them without asking too much help. Although I'm not sure when to and when not to check USB debugging box during the process. Anyone, anyone? Thanks.

Hello everybody,
So I was trying to flash my phone with a new rom and did not do any good in the "back-up part" of the flashing.
So here I am, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, GT-I9300.
I have ClockwordMod Recovery V6.0.4.7 running on it.
I can't reach the phone with ADB.
Kingoroot can't find it.
I've tried 4 USB ports, and two cables (one of them worked just fine 10 hours ago).
I've tried several USB drivers, and "yes" I did remember to unplug the phone while reinstalling the driver.
Here I am, 25+ hours in the process... I don't know what the ... to do. Please help me.
I hope you're out there, greetings....
On a note, I have checked if there are other ones who have had alike problems, but I found no-one being in the same stupid situation as me.

Hi sorry to ask such noob questions but I have just purchased my first Samsung device the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L Straight Talk and I am trying to figure out how to create or get a copy of a stock recovery image it is my understanding that this model is fairly new so there is not much around specific to his model of phone and I have only manged to find a handful of posts on this device, what I need to do is make a stock recovery img then root then install xposed framework so that I can change the "Rom Status" on my phone back to "official" after root changes it to "custom" so that I can still recieve the OTA lollipop update when it is sent out, but to do this I need a recovery first in case any issues arrive any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have been researching this whole thing for days to no avail and would really like to get this done, thanks so much for your help in advance and again sorry for the noobish post.
