SpO2 sensor?? - Note Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does my Note Edge N915F have SpO2??
I cant find it in Shealth. Looked at videos on the internet, but my Shealth does not have SpO2 tab.
Or is there an other app I can use to make use of the sensor. I am in the medical field and would like to see how accurate the phone is an play with it( if the phone have the sensor)
I Googled allot but cant find an answer.
Please help.
Thanx

" SpO2 stands for Peripheral capillary oxygen saturation. It is an estimation of the oxygen saturation level. Oxygen saturation is a term referring to the concentration of oxygen in the blood. It measures the percentage of hemoglobin binding sites in the bloodstream occupied by oxygen"
So it just measure the % oxygen it your blood . I know the Note 4 has this sensor, but does the Note Edge have it to??
PLEASE help

Yes, the note edge have the same sensors as the note 4. You are going to find out on Shealth application that option. I just checked mine and is there.

What would they call that sensor,if it was on the phone?
My System Info Pro doesn't list anything like that on my phone.

Yes it is definitely there, in some countries they disable some of the sensors and tests in S-Health

I think you had to be rooted to add it, it was that or maybe even xposed was required. Sorry I can't be of more help

Thank you for the reply. I dont know why they would disable the sensor in South Africa. But thank you for the reply!

For me the Health app showed the sensor on original unrooted german rom. ...

Dont worry

Google Fit and the GS6

Hey those of you lucky enough to have the GS6 early.
Quick question as I have read conflicting reports of Google fit not working with the GS6 and/or making the heart rate sensor on all the time.
Is this the case? I know I can use S Health which seems to be ok - but it doesn't work with Android wear so Google fit is pretty important to me.
Google fit works and the heart rate monitor is not on all of the time like it was/is on the S5

you see some people have said this. But them some have said it does make the HR sensor stay on.
The issue before was with the auto activity detection I think.

You have to turn Activity Detection off.
I was impacted by this and had the heart rate monitor going off whenever it was in my pocket or when I would set it down on a table. It seems Google has acknowledged this at some level as the S6 is no longer listed as a compatible device for Google Fit on Google Play.

Which kind of makes it pointless doesn't it?
Still doesn't work
Google Fit still isn't compatible with the S6.. I hope they will fix that soon, Android Wear keeps telling me to activate Google Fit on my phone but I can't.
well that just blows i track all of my stuff on there...
Well, this sucks. I use Fit, too. Just realized it wasn't running on my new S6, went to install, says it's not compatible. Anybody got an .apk for a side-load?

Sure, just remember to go into the settings and disable activity detection. This should prevent the heart rate monitor bug from draining your battery.
One question. If you disable the activity tracking will android wear watch still send the activity? Thanks

Nope, unfortunately with fit installed my watch says I have 500 steps today but my S6 says I have 0 steps. Very frustrating, wish there was some app that could send the data without needing the phone to have activity detection
So I just installed Google Fit on my G920I after the AOD3 OTA. Before the OTA (AOBQ) Google Fit was shown as incompatible, but now it's shown as compatible and I installed it. I have the activity detection on and it seems that the heart rate monitor bug is fixed because the monitor light is not on unless I use it on S Health. Can anyone confirm?
Confirmed on my Galaxy S6 edge. Installed Google Fit and it works nicely.
Google Fit has been updated and can be installed on the S6 today directly from the Play Store.

And it helps?
But why cant I use the heart rate sensor from within Google Fit? I don't want to use S-Health. On my smart watch Fit can measure my heartrate too, so it should work with the S6-sensor as well, right?

Three app questions for anyone with S2

Hi all,
1. If a Google+ notification appears on the watch, eg a new post by a favorite friend, can I +1 it from the watch like on Android Wear?
2. Does S Health on the Gear watches natively track swimming strokes and calories burned swimming?
3. Do voice replies for Hangouts texts still work from the watch?
Thanks!
4. Is there a sleep tracking app?
Thanks!

The latest firmware has S-Health sleep tracking, and also you can get a watch app that works with Sleep as Android app (which also syncs with S-Health). To my knowledge, there is no native swimming app (and Samsung recommends against swimming with the watch; it's water resistant, not waterproof). I'll leave the other questions to others.

Thanks. Could you quote where Samsung recommended not to swim with the device? I have read mixed results about this but personally I've never had any trouble swimming with an ip68 rated smartwatch.

Not sure all the places they've said (Saumsung's documentation is often incomplete) but in a video they released early on, they said, "Whenever possible, keep your device dry and avoid immersion in water . . . . Avoid exposing your device to water at high pressure or in situations where there is fast running water (e.g., in the sea, under a shower)."

Thanks. Sounds like vigorous swimming would be a bad idea and they're covering themselves legally. Then again I do low impact swimming and IP68 does mean 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
My Sony Smartwatch 3 is IP68 and is fine. It runs the Swim.com dedicated swim tracking app.
I'd still love to find out if there's any way to track strokes on the S3.
Thanks!

Anyone able to get Video Stabilization to work again after Pie update?

I really need this feature and it's gone since Pie update , I wonder if it's a bug or they intentionally removed it?
Anyone able to get the stabilization to work or any method to revert the camera app to the older version?
Please help!!!
I was under the assumption video stabilisation is on always.. You can't turn it off. Hence there's no option in the settings anymore....

I wish it was like that but I'm pretty sure it is not!!!
The video recording is shaking as hell and it doesn't make sense to have in on all the time since EIS doesn't work with 60FPS and 4K and that would be really confusing.
Using gcam you get the option to turn video stabilisation on/off.

Your quite tight you won't find it in the Playstore as its a modified version of the camera app that goes into the pixel phones.
There's very little versions, if any now, that work OK with this phone. Not many developers are trying to port the app to the honor note 10. Not popular enough or to old.
The one I'm using is the latest version I can find that works OK with the Note 10. Albeit an old version now as the latest version of Gcam have loads more features..
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgiqyolksmycxbf/GoogleCamera_5.1.018.apk?dl=0
Download it and see how you get on.
If you're in tested in trying other modded apk's, then check out this Web page. It has hundreds of modded versions....but beware a lot of them just won't run of freeze the phone when the app is opened.. Good luck.. [emoji1303]

They haven't come back to me yet. But just 5 mins ago I received an answer from the people on the Teyes Facebook group and it worked.
I needed to enable the radar feature in the Factory menu. So I did that and the overlay appeared. Still with the black screen like it wants to show me the video feed. But at least I can now see the parking sensor info.

Excuse me, do you have the original parking sensors or the aftermarket ones? I have aftermarket parking sensors (the classic ones with a LED display) but I would like to have them displayed on the display of my M700S. I mounted the rear camera (also aftermarket) and the video is displayed on the display along with what should represent the sonar of the parking sensors, but the latter do not give any. Is it because only the original parking sensors can be connected?
Wouldn't know tbh cause i use the original parking sensors for vw. Sorry

It's written in his post. The solution was enabling the radar in the factory settings menu.
It's only compatible with a few vehicles. My OEM parking sensors do not show up.

Thank you! I'm using it now, it's working great!
Hi:
It's not available for my GW4, can you post the APK to sideload it?
Hi great watchface, but i can only directly Install it on my GW4 with no configuration possibilites... On my Pixel 7 Pro i get the Info that this app is not compatible with my devices
Can you please also provider it for GW4 and Pixel Phone. Thx
Thank you!!!, It's already available....amazing watch face!!
Thx a lot. It is also working for me now. But If i add the Pulse or Others health indicators it only Shows the Icon (e.g. the Heart) instead of the Pulse. But i gave the permission :-(
It is still not available in Poland
In the play application it does not work ... but through the browser it works
Thanks for the watch face. It's very nice! I have a Samsung Watch 5 (non-pro) and I only see the heart icon, it does not show the frequency itself. Where can I find this "cardiogram" complication? I can't see the screenshot you referred to.
Do you think this watch face will have strong impact on battery life?
Thanks!
Thanks for replying. I will monitor the battery life now that I am using your watchface.
I believe this "cardiogram" is a separate application that needs to be installed. It's not the same as the built-in heart rate app that comes with the watch.
Am I to dumb to find it or how to change the general style (as you said there are multiple watchface styles included)?
(I guess I'm on latest version, installed yesterday and now update showing. I'm from germany)
Strange, I don't have these options. Neither ok watch nor in galaxy wearable app.
This it how it looks for me:

Thanks for the update!
Unfortunately, the heart rate number after choosing the native heart rate is not displayed in real time. I am obligated to tap on it to get a current measurement. It's not working as the heart rate complication on Samsung watch faces that updates the frequency in real-time.
Your theme for smart watch should be in the top!
How to enable seconds in concentric native?
Hello! This is amazing! Since I am quite sad that the original doesn't have the AOD fix.
By any chance, will you add a feature supporting multiple copies of concentric native to the favorite? I am using Bixby routine, and I want to swap to face 1 with a set of complications I use during work and face 2 for commute/exercise.
I know you blow up the font a bit but also by any chance would you also release the font size same as google?
Google's pill shape circle at the mins and second is slightly slimer.
Anyway great job!
I use this as my daily! I love this watch face and haven't found one single thing wrong with it. Your work is outstanding and I want to say thank you!
my favourite watch face for watch 5 pro. took me a long time to find it after I lost it (had to change watches) so maybe make sure it is searchable in PLay as Analog Native? Great work
