Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Sorry to hear about your trouble but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-i9000 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-i9000/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

[Completed] Galaxy S2 booting loop/ corrupted files

Hello,
My S2 keeps rebooting, I had a modified version of cyanogenmode (lollipop, taken from galaxys2root.com ) and one day my phone closed unexpected. I tried rebooting but It was in sort of a loop, so I try reinstalling its original ROM.
I followed the steps, how to flash using odin etc. etc., but when I was supposed to do a wipe data/ cache from recovery mode, my S2 rebooted. After that when I was able to enter in recovery mode, there was an error, E: failed to mount /data. Now, I'm only able to enter in download mode.
What should I do ?
*******************
Things that I did so far:
1. Reinstalling 2 versions of stock firmware (I9100XWLSU_I9100OROLS5 / I9100XWLS8_I9100XXLS8_I9100FOPLS3_HOME)
2. Reinstalling using different versions of odin
3. I've removed the battery for some time (read somewhere that this can make a difference)
no response, I see only the initial logo and then again, reboot
Note:
After I've installed third time it's original rom, there was hope because it displayed the setup to choose the country and to connect to a wi-fi, but after 10 or 15 seconds, back into the loop.
P.S I hope that I explained my problem well, please ask for more details If you think you have the answer to my problem.
Have a nice day.

[Completed] Team Win Recovery HALP

Hey there people of varying race and gender. (trying to be as generic as possible as to not offend people. im sorry if there are any cats using this site for not including you)
Im hoping for assistance in the Team Win Recovery options.
I recently fired one of my technicians. and the brat got mad, so before handing in his phone, he seems to have removed the operating system from the device.
-when i boot the device, it tells me the Kernal is not "Seandroid Compatible"
-when i plug into the computer in recovery mode, or download mode, the computer will not install drivers
-when i boot into recovery mode, it brings me to "Team Win Recovery"
-in Team Win Recovery Factory reset does not fix anything. Says successful, but only takes 1 second, and nothing fixes.
-ive downloaded the stock rom from sammobile, and since odin cant process the device, as drivers will not install, i need to use External storage.
-ive put both the zip, and the extracted files onto SD card, and selected the files, however, when flashing the rom, it says Unable to mount /usbstorage.
can anyone help me out at all?

[Completed] [Huawei G8] STUCK ! Keep booting on TWRP after an update and dont know what to do....

Hello everyone, first post for me here.
Some friends told me to come with my problem here saying it would be the best place to get help (that will be precious to me)...
I'm really noob on android devices, so please be patient with me.. lol. I apologize already if u dont get what i exactly try to explain with my words..
Here i come : I got a new Huawei G8 (very unpopular one, for my luck again..). I got it rooted a while ago, when i bought it (had to find the ONLY tutorial that was in portuguese and took hours to do it but i did it !)
I have on it installed TWRP.
Yesterday in the night, my phone asked me to update. So did i. What i didnt know is that it was not gonna boot on android again. So to be clear : everytime i try to set my device on, it goes straight on TWRP recovery tool or if i do specific move (power + volume up i think) that just send me to the "Fastboot & rescue mode", telling me to connect my device to my PC and open HiSuite (what will just not do anything cause HiSuite wont detect it). >> HiSuite wont detect it but i can open it and get files in or out of internal or external storage.
I already tried to flash a firmware i downloaded on Huawei's website but then it just says "zip file corrupt". I also noticed that in the zip file i downloaded was a tar.gz file.
I also downloaded from a link i found in a tutorial a .rar file with in it the dload and CUSTOM folders with .APP files. Then copied it on my SDcard and tried to turn my device on to make it auto update with these files (power + both volume buttons). The thing is i cant even make it boot like that cause when i try pushing both volume buttons + power button it instantly turn on and booting on TWRP ...
I'm so sorry I cant explain properly what i did but i hope you will understand what the problem is and maybe lead me to find the right procedure to get my phone back... I'm sure I missed a lot of important informations but just ask me and i'll answer with pleasure, ill just check this post every hour..
So if someone knows any way to get my phone working back, even if it means i will lose all my datas and start over, thats really not a big deal.
Thanks a lot if you people read this and try to help me..

Greetings and welcome to assist. You should be able to sideload a new launcher through adb, this guide is for a different device but the principle is the same

@sawdoctor
Ist very kindly on you part to bother with my problem. Thank you!
As I said I can't access the recovery mod. I used to access it before but no longer now. The power and volume buttons make nothing. I can access by them only the factory phone test menu. This recovery issue is not a result of the boot loop issue I have now. In the past I tried to flash other ROMs. I was able to access recovery mod. But in some point it stopped. I suppose the bootloader is been changed not by my will though. This is the reason I tried SP flash tool but I followed diferent tuts and I installed different drivers. Now I have error message and the PC can't recognize the phone.... I think I should
