Exactly, thanks!

It shouldn't be any hardware bugs at the start when buying a expensive phone like this.
I have this on my phone too, just took it out of the box...dang this post, I was looking for it from the start.
Are people waiting on this in hopes it's a software/refresh glitch, or exchanging their phone?
I don't have a T-mobile store here in town, just a stand at the mall How do I convince them to stare at the screen long enough to notice it?

It could be a software bug too.
When people get their display replaced the problem is solved.

I think this is what im experiancing as well. If thats the case then I would assume its a software bug. Testing with auto off right now.

I have the leak #2 of the ics for my Atrix 2,running scv7. I like to use my phone at night in bed, so I turn to the side. With GB/scv5, the screen would only go to landscape both sides and portrait mode if you held the phone "regularly", but now with ICS, it flips all 4 directions. Is there anyway to disable it completely from rotating to the "top"?
Go to display in settings, and there should be some kind of option allowing you to disable 180 degree rotating. If not, then try using cm9. They have that feature.

Nope, unfortunately scv7 doesn't have the ability to disable 180 degree rotation.
Its only in scv7. I find it stupid too and theres no way to disable, Ive tried it with build.prop...
No idea why anyone would want such feature.
I agree 180 degree rotation is unnecessary cause the soft keys get trĂcky to use.

I meant like this, how can you disable rotation for this side only, but not for the other sides?
Never had a problem with this in scv5
Decompile framework-res.apk
Locate bools.xml in res/values
Change the line that mentions 180 degress from true to false.
Re compile.

I think there's a bools in there that says config_allowAllRotations or something... that might be the one you want.. if he wants to get rid of the 360 rotation.

First off this question should have been asked in the SCv7 thread and not a whole new one.
Second, I know what he is talking about, I was being sarcastic
Third, my sarcastic response could actually be helpful, if you make a conscious effort not to turn the phone upside down when using it, the problem is solved, I've been in many situations where the phone accidentally inverted while using it, I get it rightside up again and it's fixed.
Fourth, this is a feature the dev wrote into the rom which could actually be helpful in certain situations, this furthers the point that this should have been posted in the ROM's thread, because maybe, just maybe if others see it as an issue, the dev would spend his precious time to take it out.
You have no idea in what situations it gets upside down and why its annoying.
And in those situations you cant flip it to fix the problems as you described.
About posting in rom thread, I didnt open this one, so why are you telling it to me?
No worries, it was meant for the OP not you, good luck with the problem.

If they didn't this place would be boring. It makes me even angrier when I just see people arguing over stupid stuff like this.
Why am I having so much trouble getting light flow to work? I just had it working fine on my galaxy Nexus so I definitely know how to set it up but no matter what I do it won't work.
Are there any special settings I need to turn on or off?

Make sure Light flow is checked in accessibility settings. So currently, having an "always on" notification for any one setting will mess with the other settings. Dev is working on a fix. other than that it should be working.
What exactly is happening on your end, you didn't give a lot of detail?

You should be starting to get the update now. I've done a workaround for always on as the LG drivers just don't accept it. I'd class the "always on " option for the Nexus 5 as being "almost always on"
Updated the app now, will see how it goes
I still seem to be getting notification light illuminated after the notification has been read.
Addmitedly I don't have it running as a foreground service.
Anyone know of a way to get rid of the lightflow notification in the pull down shade? I like to keep that area clean for notifications. I know other apps offer an option to disable that notification.

I think this will just drain your battery as it's only for OLED devices, which require no power to generate black pixels. This app basically displays a total black screen, simulating the display is turned off, while in fact it is not, so you are able to use all sorts of swipe gestures to run apps and similar. It's a great idea but on our phone it will drain the battery as the display is basically never turned off.
