i'm trying to upgrate my htc one m8 verizon fom htc synxc manager because i'm outside us but whet it starts t upgrate my phone shuts down ang goes to fastboot usb and my conpiuteer says disconected and cant upgrate. can anyone gime any solution please

You can download the s-on ruu I have posted and run that while your phone is in fastboot.

I cannot promise that and I have no way of testing. If you aren't s-off you would have no way to downgrade either.

Doug will be able to better assist you here, but you should have no problem using the 5.0.1 RUU for S-ON - make sure to use the correct one, and not the one meant for S-OFF

If you're planning on going to 5.0.1 but are not sure it will be able to work with your carrier's SIM then I would recommend getting your phone s-off first so that you can downgrade back if necessary.

Hi. I have flashed the 4.4.4 RUU via SD card i was in 4.4.2. Now i want to jump to 5.0.1 but there are 2 diferent links wich one should i use? sorry for the questions but i'm not an expert. For example i download DOTTAT_VZWM8_S_ON_5.0.1_SF_RUU.zip and rename it 0P6BIMG and do it the same way like i did with the 4.4.4?

For those searching for RUU 1.29.401.16 here it is, I've made a pack using RUU executable from Cingular using the rom.zip of 1.29.401.16, all you have to do is:
S-Off Needed;
If possible backup 1st;
1. Download it;
2. Extract it;
3. Execute ARUWizard.exe;
4. Follow instructions;
Nice flashes

Nop..., connected via USB with debug mode enabled, but i think it works with fastboot too

I Think so, it depends on your CID but sonner or later you will get it, in Europe I think by now all devices CID you'll get it

Try running This RUU when you phone is connected to PC.
It should take you to Stock ICS, then update to JellyBean Over-the-Air.
I had Illusion (4.2.2) and wanted to try odyssey so when i flashed it i got an error someone on that thread told me i should update the firmware to 4.3 which was right but i dont think it worked because i am still on 1.14 hboot so im like screw it ill just use a 4.2.2 rom try liquid (and illusion again) and its giving me the same error as the first one so now im "rom'less" btw the error is [getprop("ro.bootloader") == "2.15.000"]
help as fast as possible would be highly appreciated as my phone is a important part of my day

You haven't upgraded to stock jellybean even. Upgrade to stock jellybean first with an RUU.

The latest RUU is that of ICS.
Once you are on stock ICS, receive the OTA update to acquire Jellybean with all the latest firmware. Make a backup of that ICS and Jellybean ROMs too. Helpful nowadays.

Don't use that RUU if you aren't from the UK though, as it is UK carrier branded.

The radio is lower in the RUU. Don't know if the bootloader is lower or not which actually matters.
Does it show any DOWNGRADE NOT ALLOWED error or just 155?

No you can't, To flash OTA you need to be on a device that's never been htcdev unlocked because it deletes some apks out of /preload/app ... or you need to run a RUU and achive full stock and then you can use OTA with stock recovery

You need to be htcdev unlock and root. Once you have that just enter these commands on your pc with your phone connected

That's it.. development community needs it badly
