This thread is dedicated to act as a feature request, support, and bug report forum for all of our works. The Members in no particular order :
@abhi_qwerty
@MSF Jarvis
If you see any thread tagged [TEAM REDUX] that's us. Our inspiration towards developing for the Pico is, hands down, Team Cody and especially @thewisenerd.
Periodically, the thread will also feature a poll asking if a project idea is worth it or not i.e. Should we port this ROM ?, Don't you think the Pico deserves a shot at this script ? and these sort of questions.

This is a tribute thread to Recognized Developer Flappjaxxx's AOSP ICS ROM "Ascension".
The last "Official" Version of Ascension is V7.
I Know that many people were daily driving this rom and would continue to use it regardless of prospective future updates.
At this point little is know by most of the community why this ROM is no longer being supported, but we must respect his decision regarding the closing of his threads!
That being said...
This thread should be your place to post any questions or comments about Ascension ROM, thus keeping XDA somewhat orderly.
This thread should be monitored and responded to by anyone posting here.
This is not an official thread and support is not guaranteed, but my belief is that our community is plenty capable of answering most questions based on this ROM, and thereby increasing the longevity of the ROM and prospect for a return by its developer.
Please be respectful of others and I will try to help as much as I can (which isnt much), while I would hope other Ascension user would have input also!
This ROM was a great addition to our phones and hopefully will live on through our community!

Although a thoughtful idea....please contact the DEV OF THAT ROM before opening such a thread. He may have closed down his threads for now but may be back VERY SOON. You should give him some time. Please remove this and talk with Flapp, the actual DEV of the rom before posting anything.
Thanks
again, thoughtful idea, but out of line without permission.
Yes please consult any developer before trying to Q&A his rom. This is a matter of respect.

Hi, I've just watched a Q&A session with the CyanogenMod team posted on YouTube. It's 45 mins long. There are some very interesting insights in some of the teams answers, especially at the end. With the "holy grail" question being. Which devices do you guys recommend.

Have fun. Anil
PS. I'm certain none of the CM team will ever see this. But it needs to be said. Thank you for giving a ****! Otherwise our smart phone's, would simply be appliances.
Moved from Development forum to General forum.
You may or may not have seen the announcement made on the Portal a day or so ago. If you have, great, then you know what this is about.
In case you have not, xda management decided that we would try to reorganize the moderation team to be able to tackle the changing environment in our site. As such, we have divided the entire moderation team into sub teams, each one in charge of a specific section. Each section is divided by manufacturer and type of device and world allocation (US/Canada and International).
Each team is composed by a number of forum moderators with varying levels of experience in different areas and has a team leader (normally a Senior Moderator, or in my case, an admin). My team will focus primarily on HTC devices in the US for CDMA carriers (Sprint, Verizon, and other smaller carriers). Without further ado, your new moderator team is composed of:
papa smurf151
sgt. slaughter
xHausx
GrimReaper24
sixstringsg
wardfan220
with the team leader being yours truly .
As always, please bear in mind all the rules of the site, act kindly to one another, and if there are any issues at all, please feel free to contact any of us either via pm or by using the Report button, located at the top of every post.
Enjoy your stay

Hey Egz, can you take the thread about not being able to comment in the dev thread and make it an off topic thread? Change the name and sticky it? I just realized that the bolt forum doesn't have one like the rezound forum does.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app

After using FDE.AI as my daily driver on any fresh Android installation for several months.
I'm now testing this little speed tweak and it's working awesome so far. Everything feels very snappy and responsive.
ArrowOS OSS (Community Build for Raphael with Soviet Kernel) and installed FDE.MDMtweaK-MAGISK-FLASHABLE Balanced with Boot Animation.
@FeraVolt @Mior-D-Miro
Your cooperation with this tweak is awesome and I wish you much success.
If you do decide to develop a pro or paid version, I would be happy to support you.
Thank you for your hard work.

U are right there is no cooperation between me and @FeraVolt.
@FeraVolt becomes the full credits for his work and for this work.

My goal is it to have a solution to support all android members.
I dont take any money, its semi open source.

Still you have no right to take someone app and put your own tweaks with no permission and did you read the EULA of the app before making this thread. Moreover the app itself supports all those tweaks and has extra tweaks and its universal. So remove this thread and continue your old thread were you introduced your tweaks and continue from scratch like you did and stop bothering other people apps. If you want to give compatibility and solutions make it in your module not in other peoples work.
You are right, i have read the eula carefully and cleared all misunderstandings out of my head.
Can an admin or moderator close this thread and remove all the files?
I really apologize for this, it was not planned to cause any harm or inconvenience to anyone.

Please read the FORUM RULES especially those:
12. Sharing
XDA-Developers is based on the principle of sharing to transmit knowledge. This is the cornerstone of our site. Our members and developers freely share their experience, knowledge, and finished works with the rest of the community to promote growth within the developer community, and to encourage those still learning to become better. There are those, however, who take advantage of this model and try to make personal gains from the hard work of others.
In order to preserve the delicate balance between sharing for the good of the community and blatant self-promotion, regular members and developers alike must understand (and agree) to the following:
12.1. Give credits where due - Credits and acknowledgements for using and releasing work which is based on someone else's work are an absolute must. Works reported to have no credits will be taken down until proper acknowledgements are added by the member in question;
12.2. Courtesy - While most of the work released on our site falls under the umbrella of open source, that is not the only license model being used by developers on xda-developers. In order to prevent problems, we ask that if you decide to base your work on someone else's that you check the license model being used (as it might not be as permissive as one may think);
12.3. Re-releasing other's works as your own is forbidden. The code that you release into the wild must have something beyond minor aesthetic changes that makes it better than the last. As this can be subjective, kang reports will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If you feel that your code has been kanged, please contact the Dev Relations team (listed below) if you cannot solve the issue amicably via PM. Please understand that you will be asked to provide evidence to substantiate your claim;
12.4. Developers can issue take down requests (by contacting the Dev Relations team) under the following circumstances:
- in-process builds start showing up on forums when the developer is not yet ready to release the work;
- cases in which another developer is too aggressively soliciting donations or misrepresenting the work (kanging);
- unofficial builds where an official build is already available;
In summary, we want people to have access to work and knowledge alike. Sharing is good and courtesy and ethics go a long way.
Developers with questions, comments, complaints, or concerns about our rules (or anything!) should send a PM to our Dev Relations team (efrant or to a Moderator. We are here to help!
Regards!
