few days back i bought chinese galaxy s3 from china.... there it is okay... but in india my sim is not working... it shows sim error.... may be it is country locked...
do anybody have idea?? how to unlock it???

I need some of your help to discover what is the problem with my smartphone,
I bought a code to unlock my galaxy s5 g900t (a friend bought it in USA and he gave me-we're in Perú, he told me that the mobile was locked),
The problem is that when i put another carrier sim in my galaxy s5, it doesn't ask for the code :S
i want to know what are the possible asnwers to fix it :S

My brother just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 G920K by Olleh and he did not realized if the phone cannot use provider in our country, Indonesia.
Is there a way to make the sim card in Indonesia work for the phone? I am totally new on this and I heard we have to unlock the phone. How do you do that? Should I bring to Samsung Centre?
We watched on Youtube that we can change the firmware from G920K to G920F. Does anyone know how to do this?

I have my au KDDI S8+ unlocked and registered to T-Mobile but can't pull mobile data, what went wrong? Did anyone experience this snafu?

You need to input the Apn manually, on Settings, to be able to get network working.
Try the procedure of the tmobile....

Wondering if anyone has been able to root this Samsung Galaxy S8 SCV36 Japan AU variant. Mine is currently on Android Oreo 8.0
AU will unlock your phone for you for about 3000 yen. In my case, I paid for my phone upfront so I did not have to wait 100 days. I had my Note 8 unlocked so I could use it in the US. I was able to use an AT&T prepaid SIM in my Japanese phone. Info from AU is below.

I have SCV36 Samsung S8 was locked by au but now I can use any other sim cards but I face a problem with a pop up message shows "Choose Dialing Destiantion : - to Japan - Overseas" and I cannot get rid of this
