Hi I'm new to the scene so I might just not be looking in the right spot ,but there aren't many roms to choose from. I did see an interesting rom for N915T ,but that is the t-mobile version. My main question is can I use a rom from a different phone? i.e. the N915T rom I found or another rom that is for a note 4 or can i only use roms designed for my specific version of the phone, Thanks

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Since different Note models use different hardware (for example T-Mobile uses GSM while Sprint uses CDMA) you generally need a ROM specific to your model. Fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge at http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the Sprint Note Edge Development forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/sprint-note-edge-android-development where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.

Is there a ROM for World Wide networks (non branded) with most functions including LTE available? Upon Googling around, I see that most forums and articles recommend using the ROM for Entel Chile, which is actually branded for their network.

My name is Sindi and i have very conisedrable Phone experenice recetly i moved from a simple lumia to a note 4 i know how to flash roms and stuff but there is one thing holding me back atm
My note model is a Sm-n910h UNLOCKED by that it means it accepts any software despite the country correct ? however what i noticed was that i m stuck on 4.4.4 without an option to update I checked on sammobile and an update was available however There is one thing concearning me and that is that the update has different PDA Values and CSS . I saw there was a camera mod for note 4 lollipop on a different provider but why does it matter? Do different carriers phones have different hardware on phones, if that makes sense

So Samsung has released Android 5.0 for all the Galaxy S4 units except for one. The SCH-R970C, which is the Cricket variant of the model.
This is extremely annoying for me, considering I have that model Galaxy S4, and would love to get it updated.
Long story short, can an SCH-R970 official samsung rom work on an SCH-R970C? The SCH-R970 is the US Cellular variant.
I don't know if Samsung/Cricket will ever release it for my model, I've been waiting 6 months for it to land on my phone, but I get nothing.
I have tried rooting and putting non-samsung roms on my S4, but there have always been problems no matter what rom I install. Most have battery issues, with it draining much too fast. Others have wifi issues, but that's probably because the rom didn't support my specific model.

1. Uninstall provider (SK-Telecom)
2. Add additional LTE bands (B7, B41) to make it compatible with my local carrier (Philippines).
