A new firmware certified for Xperia c3 d2533 (19.4.A.0.180) https://www.ptcrb.com/vendor/complete/view_complete_request_guest.cfm?modelid=26528
I think (like on my z3) the "4" on sw versión mean android 5.1.1, so stay tuned.

Yeah, 5.1 is coming to the C3 now. Hope they fix the rear camera issues with this update.

Hi all , I have the D6616 model is the version of T Moblile but stayed in version 5.0.2 Lollipop and there are no signs that fence to upgrade to Marshmallow . I was wondering if there are people with this model if they have managed to install a custom rom or something, I also think it is not possible to set you the preview of Android N, that is sad because it is the only model not updated : c Thanks
I just got my xperia Z5 (the Spectre edition) but the shop advised me not to update the android version. The phone is running on android 5.01 (Lollipop), so I'm not sure if theyre' referring to not updating to Marshmallow or Nougat..
would just like to clarify -- is it ok to update to 6.0?

7.0 is nougat
6.0 is Marshmallow
5.0 is lolipop
5.1.0 is lolipop
5.1.1 is lolipop
Marshmallow isnt that great, I'd Advise you stay on Lolipop untill sony fixes some of the system service drain aswell as the camera post processing on marshmallow.

Thank you for the advise sir!
Hey guys,
I am pretty sure that Xperia XA had 6.0.1. update. So is it true? I upgraded to Nougat right away and after a year I downgraded to Marshmallow to backup TA particion because I want to root. After downgrade to MM I got updates for security patches and I installed them all until I received update for Nougat. When I checked Android version it says 6.0. Is there a way to get that 6.0.1 update, because I find MM nice and I want to stay on MM?
I downloaded MM ftf from Xperia forum UK generic, because it was UK software when I unpacked it.
Btw when I check gsm arena it says 6.0.1 LINK
Avaible on XperiFirm firmware 10100. Without sony apps. I try install new camera on oreo but not working.
Do you think there is a chance for versions for XZ Premium?
can i find stock android or pure android compatible for z5 dual , also i d like to upgrade its os to android 8 or 9 , thank you in advance
Use Xperiafirm in Flashtool. Android 8.1 maybe, 9 is future wishful thinking. Use Google or XDA Search ...
As far as I know, Sony will not provide Oreo for their Z5 Series

Sony has taken support from this device. 8.1 or later will not come.
It's too early to talk to the developer.
