Hi first off all iam new here and whould introduce myself iam "biLL" 29 from Germany so sry for my bad spelling in English how ever
iam totaly new to Root and Flash Devices and i thought about testin it on a older device from Alcatel but i got a Problem it has the SIM ME Lock so i first wanted to ASK do this Dissapear from Rooting it ? ore am i able to unlock it ?

Edit i´m doing this cause i dont want to try to root on my new HTC and then maybe brick it ^^

We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist There is no forum specifically for the Alcatel OT-991 at this time but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Note that rooting and flashing methods can vary greatly from device to device and what your HTC requires may be quite different from what the Alcatel needs but let the experts in that forum guide you.

First, you don't want to flash files from another device to yours. It does sound like you want to return your device to stock and see if that solves your problem. Hello there Guys,
After I flashed a few tons of phones, this one gets me really p*ssed of. I can´t acces the THL W5000 with ADB, I can´t mount the SD-Card because in Recovery there is no Option for this to do so.
I cant push/pull files to/from the Phone. Got no luck with fastboot and it gets stuck on Boot screen, so I can´t accept my PC for adb to work.
I need help asap

I also found a thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/thl-5000-octacore-mtk6592t-root-recovery-t2835857 that has some tips about the W5000 and it might be a good idea to look at that also if you haven't done so already.

Hello, i've got phone named Hema H5, but with vary 1st use, i got popups with Virus infections warning.. so is there any way to get rid of those viruses? Or does anyone know how to root Hema H5? It runs on Kitkat 4.4..
PS: I was looking on xda forum, but cant find any thread related to my phone...

My Best Friend had buyd a Chinese Android Smartphone Cubot Echo this Month and we informed us about some specius Malware and this stuff. So we decided to download the Mobile Security from ESET and made a scan and its shown a TrojanDropper, so we decided again to flash the rom from the official Forum from Cubot . After we flashed it we dowloaded ESET Security again . Again this TrojaDropper in the GecodeServices ... he cant use the Phone with this TrojanDropper because its sending data to china if my logical understanding is correct. Maybe some of you want know it and make something out of it , hope you can help me in some time If you have question i can maybe answer it but im not so good in english so pardon me if i cant answer correct .P.S.: How do i post a screenshot of the result? im new in this forum so its said no you musst answer 10 post or somethimg else?
