[Completed] How to download factory version of Android on Samsung Galaxy A300FU - XDA Assist

I have a Samsung Galaxy A300FU UK Version which has come from EE Network. I wanted to know how i can download the factory version of Android Lollipop because Lollipop has not arrived yet on the EE network. I have also unlocked my device so i can use it on any network. Also to download and install with odin, what would be the process of doing that and would i need to root my device. Also would it affect my warranty.
Device is currently running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Sim-Free versions have already been updated however some carrier variants have not. I also did not want the carrier bloatware.
Many Thanks!!!

[Completed] Flashing AT&T S4 to stock rom?

I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure if this topic already exist but I want to know if I flash a stock ROM such as lollipop to my unlocked AT&T phone, would it relock to default network? I unlocked it by purchasing an unlock code from a website.
Also can you root SGH-I337 on lollipop?
Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to XDA. The best thing to do would be to register and ask your questions in the dedicated help forum for your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/help Yes, it is possible to root and install lollipop on your device. You can find lollipop firmware here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/general, and there are custom lollipop roms as well here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/development and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/orig-development
Have fun!

[Completed] Update samsung note 3 N900A to android 5.0

I'm currently running 4.4.2 with root on Samsung note 3 N900A. I've unlocked the device so I'd like to know how to update to 5.0 without losing the unlock. I've never flashed roms before but if I have to will I lose the unlock? I can't switch to AT&T since i'm in Australia.
Thanks

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Luckily, upgrading/changing ROM's does not affect the SIM (un)lock status. If you are SIM unlocked (btw, by the model number of your phone, you have the AT&T version), upgrading will not change that status.
This thread will provide your OTA details:
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General > [ROM][Guide][FULL ODIN FILES][ATT][OC1][OTA with KEEP ROOT][Soft Brick FIX]
Post 4 is convoluted, it should help on rooting the phone for Lollipop if the above leaves you with an unrooted phone (and if you wanted root - I imagine so, to freeze/get rid of the AT&T bloat).
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Att Note 3 on Lollipop
Any questions, can ask in either of the above mentioned threads, once you have an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi
I tried to follow along with the instructions but there wasn't enough information for me to follow along. I was unable to understand what tools and applications were being used and ended up wiping my entire device.
If there is a more detailed set of instructions that would be great. I am also unable to use Odin as I have a mac. Tried running it in vmware but I just keep getting errors.
Thanks

If you are using a Mac, scope this thread out:
> AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General > [12/29] Restore for MJ5 --Doesn't trip Knox and optionally provides root
Heimdall is crossplatform. Read the thread, then ask there how the steps will be different for your situation (Mac of course; also detail what the exact Android version & build number you are coming from - found in settings -> about phone - to make sure there are no conflicts)
I won't know the answer to that question - they will.
Hope this helps.

[Completed] Verizon GS5 (smg900v) unlock/freedom?

I got a hold of a verizon GS5 and am on the Tmobile network.
I am searching everywhere to see if it is possible to unlock this phone and flash Tmobile Rom/Kernel/Modems.
I am under the impression that the hardware is the same for tmobile and verizion versions of the GS5 and the phone is "SIM unlocked", however there are features that cannot be accessed with verizon software on the tmobile network. This would require the bootloader to be unlocked I think.
I would be wiling to use my phone as a test project to see if this is a possibility.
If this is something that is already in the works, Here are the details of my phone in question.
Model# SM-G900V
Android Version 5.0
Baseband Version G900VVRUZBOK3
Kernel Version [email protected] #1
Build # LRX21T.G900VVRUZBOK3
Configuration Version J13.SAM.SMG.900V.1
I would even be wiling to Flash a Stock Tmobile ROM so Tmobile features all work.
Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist,
please have a look at this:

[Completed] Odin ROM flash Problems HELP

Hi,
New to the Forum but hoping that someone can help me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active which I purchased off Amazon Unlocked. It is an At&t phone but I am using it in Canada on the Bell Network. I have been unable to get any updates and therefore am still running Kitcat 4.4.2.
I have downloaded the Bell Firmware but Keep Getting the Error Message "Secure Check Fail Aboot" Immediately after each attempt.
I have not been able to find an updated At&t firmware to load and as far as I can tell the Bell Marshmallow Update won't work because My Build version is G870AUCU1A..... Where as the Bell Build Version is G870WVLU1C.......
Is there a way to install this Bell Firmware on my phone ?
