I use this with mine, and it works great. I can get about 4 charges out of it without having to recharge.

RavPower 14000mAh Power Bank - aka Dynamo On the Go Portable USB Charger

Power Banks from RavPower are starting to remind me of Swiss Army Knives. I recently reviewed one that acted as a hot spot, provides charging, and allows devices to read SDCards and portable hard drives. The product in this post substitutes out those features for a huge capacity (14000 mAh) and a flashlight. It has two ports. One good enough to charge most cell phones and another that is good enough to charge most tablets (1A and 2A output respectively).
I've carried similar products:
in the field (@ Fort Stewart and other military training facilities)
on deployment
while in Europe - kept my phone charged and acting as a hotspot for a group of 5
at sporting events
on plane trips / at the airport
conventions (SEMA / CTIA)
The prices on stuff like this keep on dropping. It'd probably be good to keep one charged up and in your arsenal of mobile devices / accessories.
Model: RP-PB13
(Pictured above: charged just about everyone's phone at the ball game - 2x S3, S4, LG Optimus G Pro)
Pick it up on Amazon for $42.99: http://bit.ly/18acfhG
Looks sweet!
And the price is great too!
Thanks for letting us know man.
I have the RAVPower 10400 and it's a lifesaver on my recent travels. I noticed Trent has a 14000 Rugged version so that's another option, thanks for the heads up and review on the Ravpower 14000. Is the LED light useful? Anker has it but I'm not sure how bright these lights are.

New Trent looks nice. I just had an issue with one of their products. It did get used a lot though so I'm not surprised the port finally broke.
The light is basically just enough to locate small items in the dark and plug stuff into the battery pack. You're not going to want to use the light lets say for setting up a camp site.
This looks Awesome.
i'm sorry to ask here... but is the home button of your S4 blinking? how?
Abought the charger, do you notice if it loses the charge if you spend a litle time without using it? I have a power bank that i imported fron china and it loses all charge if i dont use it for 4 days...

don't think that's an S4...
just ordered two of these. great price for 14000mah for sure..
NiMh batteries will discharge fast.. LiPo and Li-Ion don't typically have such high internal discharge rates.. maybe the one you have has Nimh cells in it?

If the iPhone was at the same level of discharge and the power banks were both charged, it's nice to know that one can recharge at a quicker rate. I couldn't quote the reply that it was measuring current since that was on a different page, or I would have.

That was an Optimus G Pro =). This battery pack has held charges well just like their other product I showed in the video. Much better than some older portable USB chargers I've seen from various companies.

TODAY:
I called Verizon and the Customer Service representative told me "Battery's for the Note 4 are not available for order on their system." They told me to "try calling Samsung."
My Note 4 is suppose to be delivered on Oct. 23, The charger I ordered from eBay should be here between
Oct. 16 and Oct. 31. I may have to switch the SIM card back and forth between the Note 4 and the Note 2 so I can keep my Gigabyte Burn-Rate up.
I called Samsung, they told me they don't have accessory's for the Note 4 yet and they don't know when they will.
I'm sure glad I ordered the 3220mAh Battery + Charger Cradle For the Galaxy Note 4 from Korea on eBay.

I always need a spare so I've ordered one from Korea even though £30 is steep. Used this eBay seller http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=111474818008&alt=web
For UK customers this looks like good value http://www.expansys.com/samsung-extra-battery-kit-for-samsung-galaxy-note-4-white-265537/
Is there anywhere selling Note 4 charger only? I just want the charger and not battery.

Anyone know where I can get that adapter for the charger to use on usa to convert that Asian charger? Im getting the international version... I want to use that fast charging .. not sure if my note 3 charger will do the fast charging
The new charger is 9 volts to allow for the faster charging, not 5 volts. You won't get the same results if you use an older 5 v. charger.

I suggest you take a look at the Android Authority video review. It appears to be on a non-US (Asian) version of the phone. The video is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Eibt5_0EVo&feature=youtu.be
The charging-related commentary starts at about 5:12, and an image of the charger is at 5:21.

Motorola 3000 mAh power pack for $9 free ship

I have one of these and really like it. They retail for $60, which is of course too much to pay for them. But $9 is a great deal!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-Un...0-for-Apple-iPhone-Samsung-More-/191401749892
You can get 2 for $15 also:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorola-Un...Apple-iPhone-Samsung-More-2-Pak-/221595507338
I have purchased from this seller before and I have no complaints (N/A). The power packs have a button you can press to see how much charge is left - there are 4 lights that light up to indicate charge level. In addition to the the built-in micro USB cable, there is a USB cable port that you can use if you have a lighting data cable to charge an iPhone.
These also are sold on Amazon for the same price but you either have to have Prime or buy $35 worth of stuff to get free shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...d_t=201&pf_rd_p=1944687462&pf_rd_i=B00H6WXVSI
I believe it comes with a Motorola micro USB travel charger as shown in the pictures above.
Thanks for sharing. But I have a 10,000 mah power bank that was only $20, so I think I'll just be keeping that one. 3000 mAh is only good for one full charge
Nice find. I have two 12,000 mah banks but this would be more convenient to carry around for a quick top off. Motorola branded is also a plus.

yeah, mine has held up pretty good and I leave it in a hot car and drain it to zero all of the time, basically do everything you shouldn't do to a lithium ion battery and it still works great.

Is it really 3000mAh? I find that the ratings on these things are generally too high. From completely empty on a Moto X 2014, how full can it make it?

I never let my phones go completely empty. The most I let them get down to is 20%.
Generally if the charge on my phone is less than about 25%, then I will charge. If I am near an outlet, I use my turbo charger. If not, then I use this.
If you are in the 20-25% range, will this bring it to 100% (if the charger itself is fully charged)?

I will have to test it out. I usually only use it while I am out and about and my charge is getting low. I will use it to bring the charge up to at least 50% and then take it off.

I let my phone get down to 28% and the charger brought it to 100% in a few hours with still some charge left. The charger has 4 lights that light up to indicate charge level. It was down to 1 light when my Moto X 2014 got to 100%.
My charger is over a year old and it has gotten a decent amount of use by me. As I said, I mostly use it to keep my phone above 50% when I am out and about. And I keep it in my purse, which I often leave in a hot car for too long so if heat degrades these chargers, mine has been abused in that respect.

Which battery pack is best?

Just ordered a new 128gb S6, wondering what battery pack to order? Ive read that the mophie one is good but it seems a lot more expensive than something like the powerbear which has 5 stars on amazon? Anyone using one atm?
I'm fixing to return my mophie power care as it seems to block reception for me.
One night I have amazing 4g at work, I put the case on it and bam! 1x. Take it off.... Back to 4g. I'll be sticking with a power bank instead

Ive ordered this one

Hope its good! Was gonna get the mophie but changed my mind after the signal post above
I'm using the Zerolemon 2800mah battery case. Works very good, its not fast charge but it gets my phone from 10% to 100% and still have some juice left over. Does add a bit of bulk to the phone tho.

Since this device doesn't use QC, Turbo, or any other quick charge method, most powerbanks will work fine. Read the reviews on Amazon and pick one, get a good quality cable too.
Jackery makes a great power bank, I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AANQLRI
And for cables, I have had good luck with Eversame branded cables (their customer service is quite good too, cables are warrantied for life): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GR5PUBK

The one I referred to is about $23USD, at 1/5 that price ($5) all you can get in the US is 2000mAh lipstick banks of questionable quality... So it hard to give specific examples in your price range from my point of reference.

I have used Ambrane P-1111 10,000mAh Power Bank with my G3. It can charge the device from 0%-100% for 3 times (2.5 times for sure). The completely drained power bank takes up full night to charge and can charge the device from 0 to 100 % in 2 hours. The build quality is up to the mark, it also has led's that indicate the charging status of both the power bank and the phone. You can get it via Flipkart or Snapdeal for around 600 INR. :good:
