BKB50 keyboard compatible with tempered glass screen protection? - Xperia Z4 Tablet Accessories

Hello everyone,
I really like my tempered glass screen protector for my phone as it feels much more premium than the thinner foliage-type screen protectors.
However they to add something like 0.5 mm to the thickness. Has anyone experience with the combination of a tempered glass screen protector and the BKB50 keyboard? Does the tablet still fit the slot with it?
Best regards, Stahlin

I am interested in this as well... Tried searching then official Sony forums but there were answers. I ordered a tempered glass screen protector as well anyway... When I get it in, I will update if no one answers as of then.

i have had one delivered today, i'll install and report back

Fits, tight fit so be careful!

Is the screen protector a .3mm one?

Hmmm... I love the idea of having the tempered glass screen protector... But if it interferes with the function of connecting the keyboard that's a big no go... Maybe I'll have to go with a regular screen protector Also danilos2k, go Rossi!

I have the 0.3 mm glass screen protector and no problems with the keyboard. The Z4 goes on and off the keyboard all the time..

Screen Protector that Doesn't Cover The Edge

I bought the ringke fashion case with the extreme guard screen protector but the case fits perfectly on the phone so the screen protector has bubbles all around the edge. Has anyone found a screen protector that doesn't cover all the way to the edge? Thanks!

if you read the screen protector thread you'd most likely find your answers there. as for the protector not covering the edge. 99.9% of all dry apply screen protectors dont cover the edge because of the curved glass. and also only a hand ful of the wet protectors cover the glass completely
Spigen screen protectors are designed for this purpose, it allows a few mms gap around the edges.

[Q] Screen protector and adhesive tape

Hi everyone. Yesterday I've applied a high quality screen protector (media devil) to my moto g. I've remove a dust grain with the adhesive tape wich has left some (very small) residues of glue in the internal side of the screen protector. Can this glue residues possibly damage or affect the gorilla glass in anyway? I really don't want to remove the screen protector if not necessary, since they are quite expensive. Any advice?

That glue residue from the tape if not mixed with other chemical stuff from the air will not get corrosive (even that is very unlikely). You can leave your protector on having no worries about your screen will get damaged by the glue.

Screen Protector

Has anyone found a screen protector that actually sticks to the curved edges and that works along with a case? So far I've tried the Degbit brand and the Ioinic tempered glass. Both were junk and neither fit along with my caseology case.

I am using the Skinomi plastic wet application screen protector and it hugs the sides, didn't at first but then did after it started to dry.

But NOT the glass from them. It doesn't curve with the screen and will feel really awkward with using the screen edge feature.

Does the OnePlus 6 Have 2.5D Glass Again?

I've tried to tell in the pics but just can't quite see the edge of the glass. 2.5D glad is that God awful curve at the edge that keeps tempered glass screen protectors from applying correctly.
I looked at GSMARENA and there isn't anything listed if it's 2.5D or not. So does anyone know or have heard anything about the display in this way?
yes, it's a 2.5D
In fact on amazon you can buy the orrible temeperd glass with the black curved border made expressly for the 2.5D screen
