Wireless Fast Charger - Galaxy S6 Accessories

Does anyone know if our phones will work with the fast charger meant for the S6 Edge + and Note 5? Thanx

Delete.....didnt notice the +..sorry

They stated that the S6 and S6 Edge will be compatible with the Note 5 and Edge Plus wireless fast charger, but ONLY AT REGULAR SPEED. Shame... Hardware related issue, I suppose

Note 5 charger doesn't work well with Tab S

I have both the Note 5 and the Tab S 10.5. I usually keep the Note's charger in the living room and use it for either the Tab S or the Note if I need quick top off. The Tab S' charger is upstairs for overnight charging. With the Note 4's charger (my previous phone) both devices charged fine. I've noticed that since switching to the Note 5, its charger does not charge the Tab S very well. With screen on it actually looses % rather than gains it and with the screen off charging is extremely slow. Using it's own charger the Tab S charges at its normal rate. The Note 5 also quick charges fine on its own charger.
Just an odd thing I thought I would mention. Has anyone else tried using the Note 5's charger on a different device?

Galaxy S7 modern charging mat, will it work on a Note 2 (Note II) ??

Does anyone know? I have a Note II, I intend to buy a Note 6.
I am going to assume (fingers crossed) the Galaxy Note 6 will use the same wireless tech as the Galaxy S7
In the meantime, can I add wireless charging to my house now, by purchasing the right mat?
(Yes, I know I need the induction pad for the Note II, it's cheap online)
I found a website for the charger and it seemed to indicate it supported back as far as the Note 3, not the Note 2?
but it ALSO said "Other devices will charge at standard wireless charging speeds. "
Well upon further googling, while nothing is solid confirmed, I've ordered a regular S6 (third party....) charging dock (upright, don't like the pad) and a 3'rd party wireless internal receiver mat / pad thing. About $18 US shipped.
So I'll update this thread if it's compatible, so it might help others.
Fingers crossed, it passes enough power that my phone can go from say, 40% to 100% in 7 hours sleep?

Best fast wireless charger?

Wanted to get Samsung Fast wireless charger on ebay but after watching this video https://youtu.be/BRliDj4esmI?t=6m49s I'm scared.
I need fast charging.
Did anyone bought Samsung original for cheap and where?
I got one off amazon, direct not marketplace. I didn't know the standard S6 doesn't support wireless fast charge though, only normal. Seems it is s6+ & edge that have fast wireless.

Thank you for that. I didn't know that.
Found confirmation here http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EP-NG930TBUGUS
"Compatibility: The wireless Fast Charge feature is compatible with Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+ and later models of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series. Wireless Fast Charge is not compatible with Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge or Galaxy S6 active. Those devices will charge at regular speed. "

Original Samsung wireless charger stand + S7 charger

Hi there!
I have a S7 and I'm getting the original Samsung wireless charger, the new one with the stand with Fast Charge.
Is it necessary to use the stock Samsung S7 Fast Charger that came in the S7 box, or is the Wireless Fast Charge available even with a classic Samsung wall charger??
Tnx!

Not all Fast Wireless Qi Chargers Working

I have had the S7 Edge for the last year. Because I love fast wireless charging, over that time I collected 6 different Fast Wireless Qi Chargers. They all worked great with the S7 Edge. However, in testing them with my new S8+, ONLY two of them work. The other 4 do not work. Instead it sends the phone into a loop where it says "Fast Wireless Charging" then immediately "Wireless Charging Paused".
Again these all worked with my S7 Edge - why wouldn't they also work with the S8+? I have tried all the chargers using the same charger and power cord as well as with two different QuickCharge 2.0/3.0 chargers and cords. Regardless, the two work and the other 4 do not. What am I missing? Is there some special thing the charging pad needs on the S8+ that wasn't necessary to fast wireless charge the S7 Edge?
I would just get official one. Refurb last years model cheap on amazon

I think this may be more of a problem with their phones. I had a note 5 that did that right out the box. Would go on and off wireless charging. Even now I just put the s8 on an aftermarket wireless charger and didn't get anything at all
Mine s8 doesn't like my Otterbox case with the new leather Samsung wireless charger. I have to position it just right.

I have the same problem with my Samsung fast charger (EP-NG930). The problem only exists during fast charging. If I plug in a 5V 2A adapter it will work fine. A Samsung technician in BestBuy confirmed my charger and phone are not compatible then tried to get me to buy a EP-NG920 or EP-PG950.
Samsung's phone support wants me to exchange the phone.
