SMS/MMS Transfer from Iphone 6 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Im curious as to what is the easiest way to transfer my sms/mms from my iphone 6 plus to my galaxy note 5 64gb? It will be here tomorrow and was wondering how to get this done flawlessly.. I heard i need a otg cable or i could do it by icloud. Im curious has anyone done this before

Well, damn nobody has been through this before?

I did it using the iCloud backup. You install the app "Samsung Smart Switch" on your new Note. Backup your iPhone to iCloud. Once the backup is done you launch the Smart Switch app on your note. Select iOS device and then iCloud backup. You'll need to log in with your iCloud credentials, and from there you check boxes for what you want restored from your iPhone to your Note. It's ridiculously easy and takes just a couple of minutes. And it does way more than just mms/sms.

Switching from Galaxy S4 to iPhone 6S, then follow this video and transfer your contacts from Samsung Galaxy to iPhone. and vice verse.

iCloud or Switch to Google?

Hi guys,
New Android user here (Samsung Galaxy S3). The problem is all my contacts and calendar are on iCloud. Do you think it's better to use sync adapters like SmoothSync to get my iCloud stuff to work (prefer not to pay though...), or do you think it's better to just switch to Google? Keep in mind that my desktop environment is Mac.

Switch Its okay that your desktop is MAC though I think galaxy s3 and mac don't go together. Google syncs your contacts, because I switched to a different phone and when I entered my google acc info all my contacts from my old phone showed up and the calendar synced too. If you tend to switch to iOS phone then I guess use the smoothsync or w/e that paid app is.
Google
If yu have a mac. I think you should use google. As the new version of google is mac friendly!!

Switch. It should be fine
If you go to the iCloud website you can download vcards for all your contacts and then import them into Google.

[Q] Chat On app: Anyway to login with Samsung account?

Has anyone figured out a way to login to Chat On with your Samsung account. I use Chat On with my Note 2, with my Samsung account. But on the 10.1 you can only create a new Chat On account.... there is not even an option to login using your Samsung account.
It's frustrating because the app is great and I love using it but it is useless on my 10.1 since I cannot sync it with my computer and Note 2 which use the Samsung account.
If you have a solution I would love to hear it
I am running stock Jellybean.
What's the point of this program on a WiFi only tablet (8013)? Seems pointless to me as it says it needs a phone number.

Whatsapp Transfer - Iphone to android (Freeware)

Hello,
Has anybody found an alternative solution to Wazzapmigrator (as it is not free on android play anymore). I am looking to moving all whatsapp chats and media from an iphone to a new samsung handset. Or is this not possible at all?
Look forward to your comments.
cheers!

But ISO on the iphone has iCloud as Default to backup Whatsapp. Plus As it's an 8gb iphone i cannot complete a full backup? Will appreciate if there is a solution!. Will Whatsapp on android recognise ChatStorage.sqlite (Chat saves on Whatsapp) if it is saved on google drive?
I downloaded Backuptrans iPhone WhatsApp to Android Transfer to switch my whatsapp data when I got my Galaxy Note 5. It is also a paid one but worked smoonthly. If your whatsapp chats are important enough, just purchase the program. No free one can help currently.
Google 'LatestOnNet.com' guide on transferring WhatsApp from iPhone to Android. I've recently done this. It works. Sorry, I'm not allowed to post the link here. So, you better Google the article.

Google control on exchanging WhatsApp from iPhone to Android. I've as of late done this. It works. Apologies, I'm not permitted to post the connection here. Along these lines, you better Google the article.

You should just be able to back up your watch faces to your Sansung account then log in with that same account and do a restore ... That is what I do as I have an S2 and an S3. I switch from my Galaxy s9 to my iPhone every once in awhile and I have to restore to get the watch faces and apps back on the watches.

Confusion about migrating from iOS to Android

I have just purchased a Huawei P20 Pro and it should be with me any day now.
I have been an iOS user for the past number of years and I have some questions about transferring some stuff.
I read the tutorial here and am wondering if it's really that simple?
I am also wondering if I need this contacts app instead of the one the Huawei has installed (presuming the Huawei comes with one installed!)
Any advice is appreciated!
First things first, what do you want to be transferred? Phone book is simple enough, sync to google account (gmail) wil do.
Whatsapp is slightly more tedious, download the database then export to android whatsapp.
What others do you need transfered?
Photos and videos i assume you can transfer from iphone to pc.. gen from pc to your new phone.
Having said that, this app looks interesting.

Hi vash_h
I don’t use a lot of apps. I do think use Whatsapp and it would be nice if I could get all my old messages and pictures.
