Hello everybody! I have just received new tablet with B01 battery. Old tablet i want to use with my TV to watch films, etc. But i dont want to buy gamepad. So, i have one question: is there a way to use shield tablet in console mode with mouse only? Sorry for my bad english.
Yes, you can use a mouse in console mode.
You will either have to use an otg cable for a wired/wireless dongle mouse (unable to charge tablet) or use a Bluetooth mouse.

Hello
I recently bought a USB OTG cable Y to my tablet Asus MemoPad HD 7. I wanted to play Max Payne, but on Esperanza gamepad (looks like this on the PS2) camera constantly rotating. On the android home this gamepad works very well. I suppose that this is a problem with the mapping of keys. I would like to know how to make the game began to work well.
With the Xbox 360 gamepad I have this problem that Android in general does not detect it. Or on the Home screen or in the game does not work. I plug the X360 wireless receiver - it lights, it pair with the controller and do nothing. I have copied keylaouts for wired and wireless controller. Everything like in this youtube video: /watch?v=9czISrLGXNI - with the difference that I first had to upload a file from the wireless pad.
I would add that the USB / BT Joystick Center 2015 does not detect Esperanza and X360 gamepad. USB Device Info detect them without a problem.
The PS3 gamepad works without a problem.
Sorry for my English. 90% of this was translated by Google translator.
Anyone can help?
As the topic title says, i got a moga pro for really cheap new and wanted to use that instead of having to purchase the expensive controller. I only had a few minutes to play around with it this morning but i could not get the controller to navigate through the tablet in console mode while connected to my tv. Is there anything i can do?
The controller works fine when i connect it with bluetooth to the tablet and with cable. But i cant use consol mode on the tablet connected to tv with hdmi and it says there missing a controller. Still able to play games and stuff with the controller on the tablet. And it wont connect through the shield accessories app, and i think thats the problem. Someone have any thought/ideas how to fix this issue?
Yes, read in the Nvidia Tablet forums. The new controller does not work with the current OS. You have to wait for the update.
Sorry for my English
I realize that the question is a little "convoluted" and hope to be in the right section.
I have an old tablet Acer Iconia tab a100 I wanted to connect to my TV via HDMI and to whom I wanted to connect a joypad to play.
However, the very old Acer does not have OTG and I do not have an Bluetooth controller (I have a Logitech dual action, a PS2 pad with USB adapter and wireless xbox360 controller with the adapter).
Now I tried to use my s3neo as pad through the app BT controller, but not everything works with all apps and still is inconvenient because I have not the sensitivity of the controller (in the sense I do not see what I touch when I watch TV) .
I floated the idea of linking one of my pad via OTG all'S3neo and use it as a "bridge" for the tablet via Bluetooth (I do not have wi fi).
I try with 360 pads but does not work (not pairing while on pc work and do not understand why)
The Logitech Dual Action is recognized, however, creates a problem: Some keys are associated with functions that can not be removed (for example by pressing the appropriate button of the triangle comes to my home and is therefore not usable in game)
The ps2 pad is however recognized the right analog is completely busted.
I tried with tincore keymapper but I have serious difficulties.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone using the phone with peripherals? with any normal android compatible mouse and keyboard? Or should it be its own product like other phones?
I was able to use my xbox one controller with peripherals mode
so i think any normal mouse and keyboard should work as well
