Last night I flashed Xenon hd CAF (latest one), restored all my apps from titanium backup. Everything was OK. But after some time, found out the power button is acting as a restart button. Don't know if I had changed any setting. But checked, found everything as OK. So, hoping for possible solutions. Please respond.

Try flashing a different rom and see if the problem persists. It may be a hardware problem!
Same problem with my OP5 ?
I was running on rooted (magisk14. 0) OOS 4.5.10, and wanted to update to OOS 4.5.13. I've made a full nandroid backup via TWRP, flashed full OTA, and got a bootloop for some reason. After that happened I've restored my backup (4.5.10), and everything seemed to get back to normal, except for the power button wich work is seem to be the same as TS's problem.
Any thoughts on this anyone?

So the past 2 days I've had an interesting problem, with even more interesting results.
Both mornings I've tried to use my GPS and it just hangs on trying to connect to it. The GPS says it's on, and I can toggle it off and back on again but it never finds any sats.
Yesterday I reboot the phone and it takes a while to boot the phone back up (most like the first time you boot after a fresh install), and when the phone came back online the GPS worked but all my bluetooth pairings were gone.
Today I have the same GPS problem so I reboot again, and again it takes a while to boot and so far I still have my bluetooth pairings, but I've been unable to connect to the devices, all my sound settings are back to the defaults, when I hold down the power button now the only option I have is Power Off, nothing else, when my screen times out and I hit power to bring it back on it goes right back to wherever I was, I don't see the lock screen anymore. And to top it all off my home button and my search button do not work.
What a mess, this phone is getting worse by the day, I'm actually starting to regret the purchase. I guess it's time to call it in and see what they say.
Edit: Forgot to add all my SMS messages were deleted as well.
Rooted? Have you done anything to it? That's definitely not normal but I guess you know that
Ya it's rooted and has nvflashed clockworkmod recovery installed. Rooted the day I got the phone and clockworkmod recovery has been installed for about a week.
I just tried clearing the cache partition, wiping Dalvik Cache, fixing permissions, and no change. Running a full backup via Titanium Backup now before I try a factory reset to see if that fixes it.
If that doesn't do it I'll try restoring a backup image from last week.

I would guess it's not the phone but the CWM made the mess. You probably want to try factory reset.
My Bluetooth settings and profiles randomly appear and disappear and I'm bone stock.
Well, factory reset got all my buttons working again, and my screen locks again. Since I'm back to stock now and have to re-setup everything now I think I'll go try out the Eaglesblood ROM and see how that goes.
I was having problems with the GPS on my Koodo Galaxy S2X phone that I decided to do a factory reset on it.
The reset worked fine and then I reinstalled all my apps, all good.
except that now when I want to restart or power off the unit, it gets stuck somewhere and the hard buttons stay lit and I have to remove the battery to turn it off.
If I keep the power button pressed long enough it will reboot.
Any ideas how I can solve this?
I thought of doing a new factory reset just in case something went awol in the previous one but in the screen to do the factory reset after pressing the button "ERASE" nothing happens.
If I select to format the USB drive, a message does come up saying that its formating and then nothing.
The unit is not locked because I can continue to use it normaly. And no reset is done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The unit is rooted but has the stock koodo ics 4.0.4 in it.
Could this have something to do with the root?
Any help would be appreciated.

Ever find an answear to your problem? Having the same issue. For now I am simply not shuting down my phone because I am sure that pulling out the battery in the midst of a shutdown if probably not good for it.

I solved my problem by installing a new ROM (koodo v3 rom) but after doing that I think if I just had used the SUPERWIPE script might have been enough to reset the device.
At least the GPS works great now with this ROM.

Hi,
I've the same problem at the moment with my new s2x. I've tried restoring to the my original rom and I've also tried a different rom (Koodo v4) and the phone still won't turn off properly (the bottom button lights keep lit).
I was wondering if anyone could help. How exactly do I work the SUPERWIPE and what exactly does it entail? Sorry I'm quite new to all this just bought my first android yesterday. Thanks.
Superwipe is run with TWS or clockwork. I dont know exactly what it does but it fixed my problem.

Thanks Martelo, I used Darkside superwipe (link here), reinstalled rom and it finally shuts off now.
Hey, so I tried to follow this guide to have ColorOS and Cm11 (https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/coloros-to-cm-multi-rom.212414/), but then I realised that I had no use for both of them to be on multirom. As a result, I wiped ColorOS and Cm11, then restored from a backup I had in TWRP. When I'm in Cm11, if I press the power button, it does not let me turn it back on besides doing a force reset by holding down the power button. If I delete the data from Cm11, I don't have this issue anymore, but then I lose everything. Any help could do as I am really frustrated about this. Cheers in advance.
Now when i boot up my phone, it has a red OnePlus logo instead of white, I'm guessing this is due to upgrading to ColorOS V2.3 Beta. Would you think this would affect it in anyway? I'm trying to download ColorOS V1.2 but it is taking so long to download -.-
Thread closed at OP's request.
Hi everyone. I have a problem and i hope i can get the solution from you guys.
My oneplus one screen won't turn on manually, either double tap or power button. sometimes i try it randomly and repeatedly with tapping the screen and power button and suddenly turn on. but when the screen turn off (manually or automatic turn off), it won't turn on again.
My phone can still receive call, notification, etc but when trying to turn it on, futile. I try to trigger it with charging it and it's work. but when it turn off, it won't turn on again. i can plug/unplug the usb to turn it on, but i won't do that because you know why.
This is happened when this morning i want to try to install colorOS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/rom-4-4-2-coloros-2-0-36beta-t2955853) and calkulins cm11s rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-calkulins-oneplus-one-v1-0-t2810365) in multirom using this guide (https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...ere-are-my-samples.176376/page-3#post-8703604).
My rom at that time are already on calkulins cm11s. but the bad thing is i forgot that my kernel are franco kernel r34 while multirom need kernel with kexec hardboot.
this is my step by step how can i get this:
- nand backup the current rom (calkulins cm11s)
- wipe, flash colorOS
- install multirom manager, download multirom and the recovery without cm11 kernel. reboot recovery
- add rom using my last backup, reboot to colorOS
- install cm11 kernel from multirom manager, reboot.
- try booting to cm11s but won't boot. hard reset and try booting again. it work. play it quite a while. try to turn it on manually but failed. REALIZED that i'm still using franco kernel. reboot recovery. (the problem start from this step)
- wipe 2nd rom, add rom without using backup, same problem (cannot turn on manually).
- wipe 2nd rom again, wipe colorOS, restore backup without add another rom, same problem.
- uninstall multirom, install twrp, restore backup, same problem.
- install new rom without backup, for 15 minutes is working and then same problem.
- Now i'm charging my phone because it's out of battery.
Can someone help me?? and i'm sorry for the long post and maybe for my bad english.
Currently I try flashing colorOS and everything work normally. Can I assume that maybe some colorOS setting stuck on the phone and made the cm11s rom behave like that? and if it is, how can i remove it?

flash color os 1.2 (Android 4.3) and flash CM11S
Hello. I have a rooted OPO, running 05Q. Last night I finally succumbed to the temptation to flash a ROM. I used the app "CM downloader" to obtain the latest nightly of CM12. Using TWRP, I created a backup, then installed the downloaded ROM. It didn't work; the phone got stuck in what is, I think, called a bootloop. That is, it just kept showing "Updating Android" then going back to a CM animation, over and over.
After letting this go on for quite a while, I powered the phone down and rebooted into Recovery. From there I restored the backup I had created. That seemed to go without a hitch; everything looked as it did before I set out on this adventure. But when I let the screen go dark after 30 seconds of not doing anything, I found that double-tap wouldn't wake it, and neither would pressing the power button. It seemed to be still working, since notifications were coming in, but I couldn't get the screen to light up. So I did a reboot, which worked, but only until the screen went dark again, at which point I had the same problem.
So...I used Titanium to backup all apps and settings, and did a "reset to factory", then restored apps and settings. This seemed to work, but once again I found that once the screen went dark, the only way to wake it up was to reboot. And again, even though the screen was dark, the phone was working. I listened to a podcast while driving to work, even though I couldn't wake the screen up.
Any ideas what the cause of this might be? I did check the Settings to make sure the double tap to sleep and wake were turned on. Everything was as I'd left it. And in any case, even the Power button wouldn't do it.
You need to flash cm11 firmware, that is the radio and stuff to get your cm11 05Q to work properly again
Edit
You should flash this
