Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
A rooted device will generally allow you to delete all apps, including "built in" widgets, but you have to be extremely careful not to delete any crucial component. Fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Moto G family at http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

I have a Huawei Ascend Y530 with android 4.3 running stock rom with Huawei's emotion UI above it.
I have rooted using towelroot and have xposed and gravity box installed.
Now the problems faced are
1..) My gallery crops pictures to portrait so I get no scrolling wallpapers.
2..) Live Wallpapers are not supported. Although I added some files through htc slide but the live wallpapers keep crashing
3..) After rooting my default file manager no longer shows internal storage
4..) My phone no longer connects with pc only charges
Please help me.

There is no specific forum for your device.
But I think the best place to post your questions is here: General discussion > Questions and Answers > All about HUAWEI Ascend Y530 (Q&A, Root,Unlocking, etc).
And you can always search the general help forum for possible solutions and posting your questions, if you can't find any answers.
That forum you mentioned does not contain experts like you guys that's why I am asking you.

I'm sorry to hear that.
Unfortunately xda assist is not a "customer care" like help desk. .. it's just to show where to find the solution or pointing to the best place for posting your question.
And "experts" are people knowing the answer to your question. .. regardless of the xda ist title [emoji6]
As I have already posted the link to the best place to ask your question, I will close this thread.

I'm using a Oneplus One running CM11 rooted, with an unlocked boot-loader and twrp recovery. CM11 has a big list of ringtones, and another separate list of notifications. I would like to access both of those. I would like to know how to do that.
I know this sounds REALLY basic, but I've done some searching and haven't found what I'm looking for. So hopefully it won't be too difficult to answer, and this is where I should be asking.
It says by marking this as a question that I am breaking the rules, but the post The Purpose of XDA Assist [Please Read] states that this is where I ask for directions in the forum, so to speak. So is this the proper place to ask a question like this?
Hi!
I can't find anything on your specific issue, but I can point you to the place to ask, and that's the Q&A section for your device... Here....

Good luck! ?
I saw an app named morfo on my friends windows phone. I find it fabulous. I searched a lot around google and xda but was not able find anything related to running windows app on android . I am using lg optimus l5ii e450. it is rooted and running stock firmware. I have used xda for many of the rooted phone tweeks and i am fully sured that the expert xda team will also help for this matter. I really want to morfo my friends face and make them talk in a silly voice.
I would like to thank in advance.
The App has to be Re-Written for Android Operating System. It will not work otherwise. You may post in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Or you may contact the Developer of the App.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and there is no forum specifically for the "A" Series at this time but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help or one of the Galaxy Tab Forums from the list at http://forum.xda-developers.com/compact. Those are good places to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
I think something less sinister than popups and redirects being built into the ROM is going on. The first thing to do is download a root checker app, and make sure you are not rooted without knowing about it (as it will affect the next step).
The other thing to do is a factory reset. Be aware, this will wipe apps downloaded, settings, and in some cases pictures taken and other files downloaded. It will, though, keep the operating system / firmware / ROM intact (which is a good thing).
Once that is done, and basic setup is done, don't install any apps yet. Browse around with the stock browser and see if any of the weirdness has returned. If it hasn't, then congratulations, it was a rouge app. If the weirdness persists, then it could be either a clever rouge app (virus), or you may have been right after all.
If it does persist, then please add a post to this thread:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly]
Note that, in order to post there, you will need to be registered for an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
