As you may or may not know, the Samsung Galaxy S4 - I9500 is not sold in the UK & IRE which is a crying shame.
Some people have decided to import the phone for use within the UK & IRE and now have a few issues with APN setup etc., this firmware is being released to solve a few of these issues.
Enjoy...
NOTE: If there is enough appreciation for this, I will consider to release future firmware updates for BTU. This is a factory (LOW) image and it will make a wipe of cache and data.
If you like my work, maybe you would like to say thanks by buying me a beer

Please DO NOT mirror any of my files, thank you.
Thanks for this.
Downloading now!.
Great to have you with us in the S4 forums (coming from an ex-i9100 user).
Sorry for the wait guys I had to go out by the time the file finished downloading last night so I have installed it this morning & it runs fine so far!
Anyway just ran a speedtest and my network speeds have jumped up!!! indoors here used to be patchy on three uk, but now I'm getting:
69ms ping,
4.53Mb's dl,
1.60Mb's ul
all whilst indoors, I'd love to see the outdoors performance when I next go out!.
PS: previously I was lucky to get 1Mb's dl indoors on the other fw's
and just bare in mind this includes a CSC change so you will have to setup your device again and re-download your apps, but I think it is worth the effort considering that now I personally have seen almost 5x network speed improvements!.
Thanks again to Odia!.
*EDIT*
Here's a screenshot of a Speedtest (indoors in a bad signal area) on this fw:

Well that's an whole bunch of appreciation, thank you
Yes I will update the OP, I forgot to mention this is a factory (LOW) image and it will make a wipe.
Do you think you could you make one using the lastest build, XXUAME1, or at least tell how to make our own? I take it your using a 9505 CSC from a BTU rom and combining with 9500 firmware??

I am interested in this - I9500 using T-mobile in the UK. At the moment (using the original XXUAMDK) the phone seems to give very pessimistic signal strength values - rarely over 2 or 3 bars. Will the new version help this?

While testing ME1, I found the mobile signal to be unstable, only showing a few bars when it should be full signal, also the data signal was low causing bad downloads, MDK was a lot more stable using many of the popular UK networks.
i downloaded this file , now how to flash ??
via ODIN ?
if via odin we sould extract .zip file ?
via recovery menu ( update via sdcard ) ?
must phone be rooted to apply this flashfile ??
please reply & thanks
will this get OTA updates??
Nevermind...

How to resolve WiFi issue
The reason why WIFI may not work is because sometimes modems don't stick on the first flash. The solution for you is to Odin twice to make sure modems stick.
Enjoy guys!:good:
Hi ,
Can I have some returns , any bug ? fluidity ?
And , Tutorial in sammobile requiere Odin 3.0.9 , can I use Odin 3.1.0 ?

I prefer Odin 3.10 . The rom is stable with no major bug. Fluidity is the best part of TW Lollipop.

A question my friend. Can i use this rom in gt i9515L
Here is the screenshoot from my Galaxy S8.
Swichted from G950U1 to G950U with Modded Odin.
If you do like this then you need 3 update file.
1. CRK1 Update (Search on sammobile)
2. CRL Update (https://firmware.science/)
3. DRL6 update (https://firmware.science/)

Still I'dont get any bugs or random reboot or etc. Everything working perfectly. One thing is, software update is not working. Just show "This version is not supported".
Edit 1. Always On Display is not working at version 4.1.37
Edit 2. Working after reboot!

You may have to update some Samsung apps for them to work. Also, night mode doesn't fully work (some Samsung apps not included in it). Also, much faster and smoother; however, slightly faster battery drain for me. All the new software is a plus though. The important bugs are similar to bugs on official betas for s9.

Thanks for the update. I will probably wait and stay on Oreo for now, but I will admit, my fingers are itching and I'm very tempted to give this leak a try. Then the part of my brain ? that handles logic and common sense kicks in again and tell me to wait.
My wifi is connecting but not transferring any data. Any ideas?

I would suggest you using modded odin. I also had an unlocked snapdragon S8 US variant SMG950U1 as well and when I flashed the Odin files for CRK1 my device became a Verizon S8 model SMG950U...CRK1 (no longer unlocked but has bloatware). Once the base model is CRK1, you have to download 2 update.zip files. CRK1 to CRL1 and CRL1 to DRL6.
Follow the instructions from the link provided from OP on the first post.
I'am unable to download from updato and sammobile, both files get interrupted at 50℅ and require to be downloaded again which at slow speeds they provide will eventually fail
Thank you

Hello,
I'm after the stock ROM that the Huawei Watch 2 came with.
I've been trying to roll back from 8.0 to see if the battery life is any better, but haven't had any luck finding the old version, despite best efforts.
Hopefully one of you might have it saved somewhere.
