[APP][4.0.3+] Turn your smartphone into cloud safe for your sensitive data - Android Apps and Games

Guys! Welcome new Android tool that turns your smartphone into secure cloud safe
Please try it (it's free) and share your feedback in comments! Hope you'll enjoy it
Here is the link to Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudifilepro.
Cloudifile Pro – turn your smartphone into cloud safe for your personal data
Living in a world of hacking and personal data stealing, we understand that it’s extremely important to protect smartphone, as it has become the main unguarded storage for private notices, sensitive photos or videos, financial information, copies of IDs and other documents.
But how can we easily obtain proven smartphone protection?
Cloudifile Pro in tandem with Dropbox easily solves this problem for you.
Cloudifile Pro is an Android app that turns your smartphone into a secure cloud safe for your private data.
The only thing you should do is to share selected data with Cloudifile Pro or upload it directly, and our solution will care about the rest.
Cloudifile will encrypt your files with the best-industry-standard encryption algorithms and automatically send them to Dropbox. Once your already protected data is placed into your Dropbox account, it immediately disappears from its original location for security reasons. Now you can be sure that your data is safe: even if a stranger gets access to your device, he or she won’t be able to find any data there – it is securely stored in Dropbox datacenters while only you keep the key to it.
Staying logged in to Cloudifile Pro, you can easily work with your “cloudified” data: view it, share it with other apps, or download it locally to your smartphone. But as soon as you log out, nobody can access it anymore.
Cloudifile Pro for Android allows:
Uploading data directly
To upload file or folder to Cloudifile, navigate to the destination folder within your Cloudifile and tap Upload in the right bottom corner of the screen. Choose files or folders to be “cloudified”, and click the OK button. Selected data will be securely encrypted and uploaded to the Cloudifile folder you are currently browsing. Notice that decrypted copy of your data will be immediately deleted from its original location.
Uploading data from other apps
To share file to Cloudifile from the third-party app (e.g., the image viewer), click the Share button while viewing it in the app. Choose Cloudifile in the list of applications for sharing, and your data will be automatically encrypted and uploaded to the folder with the device name inside your Cloudifile folder. For security reasons, “cloudified” data will be immediately removed from the app cache.
Viewing data
You can easily view your “cloudified” data in the Cloudifile folder with your device name. Navigate across the folders by tapping the necessary folder. Tap the target file to open it in the default viewer.
Sharing to other apps
To share “cloudified” data to a third-party app, long press it and select Share via. After choosing the application, the file will be shared to it in decrypted format. For security reasons, after you finish working with this file, it will be encrypted again, sent to Dropbox, and deleted from the app cache.
Downloading
To save “cloudified” data to your device, long press the file or folder and select Download. Please note, that it will be a non-protected decrypted copy of data residing on your device.
Deleting
To delete the file or folder from Cloudifile, long press the file or folder and select Delete.
Cloudifile Pro is totally compatible with desktop version of Cloudifile (https://cloudifile.com/) for Windows and MacOS. Thus, you can install additional desktop tool to access your “cloudified” data from your workstation or laptop and seamlessly and securely sync any desktop folders with your cloud account.
Notice that Cloudifile Pro for Android is FREE for personal use.

[Q] Folder sync between phone and tablet over wifi

Hello all, I need to sync folders between my phone (Galaxy S2) and my Infinity... I use to do it with my PC but it's time is up, CPU failes... The folders are my music and photos folders, I would like to do this over the wifi in my house. The app must basically compare the folder contents on both the phone and tablet, and if there are any additions to either, they must be coppied to the other device. For instance if I take a few photos with my phone during the day, the app must detect that there are new files in the Camera folder and send those to the tablet, or if I put a mp3 file on my tablet it must be sent to my phone as well...
Are there any apps that do this? I am more than willing to pay for this functionality
Id like to know this too!

Basically, if your phone and your tablet are on the same wifi, you should be able to click the LAN tab, and then scan the LAN. It will show all the IP addresses of the devices on the network.
This works wonders.

Try GammaSync
For PC-to-Android folder synchronization (only one-way at the moment) I developed a free app which does not require external cloud storage services (like Dropbox or SugarSync). It's called GammaSync, and it's available on the Play Store. Maybe you'll find it useful

Does it work directly between two Android devices, without requiring to upload everything to the cloud from one device and downloading again on the other?

Syncs with the cloud.
Esexplorer will require you to copy/paste between devices. Foldersync with dropbox/box.net may be your best bet.
Foldersync allows scheduling of sync with cloud via wifi only or data plan. Its the best 'set it & forget it' option I've found

Want to download an entire folder from my google drive/drop box

How do I do this? From what I see in both google drive and dropbox won't allow me to download an entire selected folder (files and other folders inside it) straight to my phone. What cloud storage application and mobile application would allow me to this the quickest and most seamlessly.
Brownie points if there is an app available for free that also does this on the iphone

[Q] How do YOU manage sensitive data?

I am looking for a secure & simple method to keep sensitive data on my phone that will survive wipes/rom flashes. I used to keep a password list in my Google Docs, but I misplaced my tablet at work (fortunately a coworker locked it up until I could retrieve it), so I nuked that idea.
I tried mSecure and spent half an hour saving all my personal info, and lost it the next time I flashed a rom (I also keep the info on my desktop computer, so no big deal). Maybe mSecure has an option to keep an encrypted file on external memory, I didn't play with it enough to see.
Cloud services are ok I suppose, but I really prefer having the info on the phone itself, for those rare times I don't have a data connection but need access to passwords, etc.
Some people use a method of encrypting/decrypting files on their device. That sounds pretty ideal to me ― just decrypt it when needed and encrypt when done. If you lose the device, hopefully the encryption is strong enough to prevent anyone from stealing your info.
How do YOU manage sensitive data?
KeePassDroid for passwords. You can sync database to cloud if you want. PC comatibile.
EDS Lite for data, it's truecrypt container compatibile(in specific settings), so you can mount it also on PC.
Use TrueCrypt on a PC to create a container sync'd to DropBox (or similar), but pay attention to the settings to make it accessible on Android using EDS Lite.
Sync the encrypted container Android device using DropBox/Dropsync.
Use EDS lite on Android to access the sensitive data, when needed.
Use some kind of backup system (e.g. CrashPlan) to back up the DropBox folder, just in case the secure container gets deleted on a device and the deletion gets mirrored by DropBox. (You can normally recover deleted files on DropBox, but there may be a one month limit for free accounts, and it's best to have a secondary backup system, just in case!).

Fileseal currently supports Dropbox and Google Drive. We may add more depending on number of requests.
Just a quick update, someone just send us email asking why we need full network access, it is actually a good question, and we would like to clarify here as well.
Network access is used for synchronization of encrypted files with cloud storages, and for serving ads.
If upgraded to premium, as no ad would be served, the only network access would be for syncing files.
Nothing more than these.
More questions are welcomed, we would be adding these to our FAQ.
Our windows installer has been updated to 1.0.1. Fixed some issues user encountered during installation.
version 1.0.7 available
1.0.7
- fixed a bug which could cause crash on some device
- a more accurate check to see if selected folder is read only
1.0.6
- enhanced sync function
- more detailed error message if error occurs during password generate
great app!! thanks!!
1.0.8
- enhanced user interaction when opening files with no apps declared to view them
Hi,
I tried fileseal today because it seemed exactly like what I needed: Upload encrypted files to GDrive.
But it skips files bigger than 10mb and it apparently deleted the files that it uploaded. Or does it copy the files somewhere after they are encrypted.
-Is there an option to tell fileseal that all files, regardless of size should be encrypted and uploaded?
-Why where my files deleted or moved?
-I would like to still access the files with a normal file manager or photo app. Should I therefore have the files in two folders? One unsynced and unencrypted folder and one encrypted and synced folder?
Thanks!
I guess this project is dead?

Guide to Backup and Restore Your Android Phone Using MoboPlay
ANDROID PC SUITE TO BACKUP, RESTORE DATA, TAKE SCREENSHOT, ETC.
MoboPlay is a free Android PC suite to backup & restore Android data , transfer media files, take screenshot of Android from PC , view device in fullscreen, manage files, install apps, manage contacts & messages, etc. It exhibits all the features of other popular PC suites like MoboGenie, vShare and MoboRobo, but the features which make MoboPlay unique are space (junk) cleaner, the screenshot function, and the fullscreen view. It also shows some software and hardware details of the connected Android device along with storage usage.
You can easily backup and restore your phone’s data like contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music. The fullscreen view of the device can help you take better screenshots using the built-in screenshot feature. It also helps you transfer media files like photos and music from your phone to PC and vice versa. You can explore and install tons of apps and games directly to your Android device. If you wish to clear up your storage, then use the “Space Cleaner” to remove all the junk files and free up storage.
Let me explain all the important features of MoboPlay and how you can use them for your Android device.
How to Backup and Restore Data of Your Android Phone:
Step 1: After opening this PC suite, click the “ToolBox” tab to browse various options including backup and restore.
Step 2: Click the “Backup” option in the toolbox to select items or data of your Android phone which you want to backup. It allows you to backup contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music. You can also set the destination folder where you want the backup to be stored.
Step 3: Once you’re done selecting items and assigning the destination folder, simply click the “Quick Backup” button to start the backup. It will automatically create a backup file with all the items you’ve selected in the destination folder.
Step 4: To restore your data from any backup file, select the “Restore” option in the toolbox. A popup will appear with all the backup files and item types. You can check and uncheck any of the item types from the list. When you’re done with selecting a backup file and associated items, hit the “Restore” button, that’s all.
How to Take Screenshots of Android Phone from PC:
Step 1: MoboPlay makes taking screenshots of your Android phone from PC much easier. You can either select the “Device” tab to take screenshots or you can use the fullscreen feature to take better screenshots.
Step 2: Click the “Device” tab and you will see a “Screenshot” option at the bottom of the device image. The screen which you’re using currently on your phone gets auto-refreshed in Moboplay. Simply click the “Screenshot” option and you will be able to capture and save a screenshot of the device screen.
Step 3: If you want to take better screenshots, then I suggest you use the fullscreen feature. Go to the “ToolBox” tab and select “Fullscreen” option. A fullscreen window will appear along with the “Screenshot” button at the bottom. Click the button to take screenshots of your Android phone as shown below.
How to Transfer Media from Android to PC and PC to Android:
Step 1: Moboplay also allows you to transfer media like photos, music, and videos from Android to PC and PC to Android. Go to the “Device” tab and you will see a “Media” section on the left with folders like Camera Images, Albums, Wallpapers, Music, and Videos.
Step 2: Browse any of the folders to transfer media from your Android phone to PC. When you select a media file, you will see an “Export” button at the top. Click the button to select the destination folder and transfer file.
Step 3: If you want to transfer files from PC to any of the folders in the “Media” section, then click the “Upload” button adjacent to the “Export” button. After that, you can simply browse your PC and select the files which you want to transfer to your Android phone.
How to Manage Contacts and Messages of Android from PC:
Step 1: Click the “Device” tab and you will be able to see two folders named Contacts and Messages below the “Media” section.
Step 2: Click the “Contacts” folder to manage all your Android contacts. You can add new contacts, import and export contacts as VCF files, delete contacts, edit contact information, and send SMS directly from your PC to any of the contacts.
Step 3: If you want to manage all your Android messages, then select the “Messages” folder. All your messages will be visible on the screen, where you can delete and view messages. You can also start a conversation with any of the message senders right on your PC.
How to Clean Junk Files on Android:
Step 1: The last useful and important feature of MoboPlay is the “Space Cleaner”. Go to the “ToolBox” tab and select the option “Space Cleaner”. As soon as you do that, a popup window will appear with two tabs named APK Files Cleanup and Large Files Cleanup.
Step 2: It automatically scans through all the APK files to find and clear junk files. But if you want to free up more space, then try the large files cleanup.
Step 3: Simply click the “Large Files Cleanup” tab and hit the “Scan” button. It will scan your entire phone for large videos, images, unnecessary documents, etc. You can click the “Clean” button associated with each junk or large file to remove it instantly.
The Final Verdict:
MoboPlay is a very useful Android PC suite that allows you to backup & restore Android data, clean junk files to free up space, take screenshots of Android on PC, transfer media files from Android to PC and PC to Android, manage contacts & messages, and much more. You can also discover and install thousands of apps and games directly on your Android device.

Sadface, well I'm not sure if it's possible at all, I was just wondering
Looks like a great piece of software tho ^^
Actually, I am using a phone manager that it online-based. The tool is called AirMore. It is a free web-based app that is used to manage phone files on the computer. You can import/export files on or from your computer to your cellphone. I love it because it is wireless. I just connect via WiFi and start managing my files.
