What rooting method did G920FD users use? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just want to know if what method did other users use. I just want to be sure.
Can I use the pingpong method in rooting my device? I have the build number "G920FXXU1A0D5" and on my kernel version is April 6

It's pretty simple http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448887
Also if your phone is running D80010o firmware, flash back to stock D80010d firmware before rooting. Otherwise you might have issues when flashing certain roms.

Same boat as you.
There will be a root, the bootloader is not locked. Be patient it's been out only for 10 days
How do you figure the bootloader is not locked?

Tanks.
A couple of questions.: Did it work? Do you have the same variant as mine e 9550l? Do you recommend any specific ROM or you just did the root?
