Yes, so do I. I'm admin user, not a developer. Our team are working with 5.1.1 and see how it could be.
Hopefully that we can get full firmware soon for N910C. Tks again for sharing.

You will have to keep on waiting .. You will get a 32bit 5.1.1 ROM, but not the 64bit ...

Yes, that's right. We will have 32bit 5.1.1 ROM insteed of 64bit. Poor us.
It is a no-go without a 5.1.1 Bootloader. I had those files really long time ago.
And why not 64 bit? . Exynos 5433 is 64bit, and in theory samsung with 5.1.1 or android M could to activate 64bit or not???? , Because If is impossible to enable 64 bit, I shall sell my note 4 and I will buy another smartphone with kyrin 950 for example with 64bit enabled.

With our news, we can know 5.1.1 for N910C still 32bit, and we still don't know why sammy not active 64bit for N910C, maybe because of memory issue like Galaxy S6.

the only missing is the bootloader. the file with the name boot_xxx is a kernel.

Let me start off by saying I have pretty much screwed my device, I have a telus galaxy s6 SM-G920W8. I can't flash stock firmware therefore can't update officially. I am using a custom rom called xtrestolite. Can I flash a rom that's 6.0 when it comes out? I'm on 5.1.1.

I do not see a reason why not.

There is no reason you should not be able to.
Yes you can install android 6 marshmallow. But make sure before install that android version, your device will able to access it with minimus requirements of android 6 as per hardware (RAM, Processor & storage space) or otherwise you'll be face many issues.

well i was trying to install the same ROM while on stock, rooted 5.1.1, bricked after installing boot loader and modem..

i was on stock 5.1.1 firmware and after installing 6.0.1 boot loader and modem i got bricked.. i did have TWRP installed and i was rooted
I would like to install a ROM 5.1.1 but no bootloader for this model. Is there any other way?

Good news is Note 3 and S4 are getting 5.1.1 till next month as testing is done . So N910U Note 4 users must keep some petence . You will be getting quite soon .

I have recently installed ROM Cook [6.0.1] [ENGLISH] [N900X-Snapdragon] Darklord S7 Edge Full Port.
The install went well .. no problems.
However there is a known bug that requires a bootloader and modem flash.
The problem I have is the camera will not record, it will allow you to press the red button .. seem like it's recording but once you click stop it will freeze the camera app.
I was informed a possible fix would be to update the bootloader and modem.
But I don't understand which to get ...
Should I get a new bootloader for the S7 edge ? should I get it for the Note 3 stock ? Should i get it from note 3 5.0 lollipop ?
Can someone help ... I don't need to be babied .. but if you do know where I can download it directly a link would be greatly appreciated.
I do know how to use ODIN .. or I can use TWRP ..
Whichever is suggested.

This bootloader is for N9005 .. but I have a N900W8 ...... would it still work ?
Also i did try to install with ODIN and it failed everytime.
Sorry to be annoying ... but I just need the video camera to work and this rom is perfect.

Fixed the issue ,, I finally found my proper latest bootloader and modem and installed it.

Yup flashed it to my cousin's mobile which was G550FY(non-pro) model. Did a factory reset and it works flawlessly. No issues at all everything works including Volte. Infact its much better than before!

Really, the SM-G550T1/2 really needs Nougat at this point since it is only limited to the India model... I really like the new UI elements. Sad.
Or if someone is really good enough to make a Android Oreo Go edition custom ROM (since it really helps on storage) or a Lineage OS custom ROM. I wish i can make one but I'm not good at making ROM's.:crying:
Edit: I was thinking of installing that same rom OP described. Will it work for my T1? Someone needs to test this before i can proceed. Problem is i don't know if it will brick my phone because it was made for Indian devices running that version.

I dont know also, but do i need to have my phone network "unlocked" to switch official samsung roms? I prefer sticking to T-Mobile...
Edit #2: Tried installing that firmware file, it wont let me because of a locked bootloader. I used Odin (latest) but all i get is a "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)" error.
^tl;dr, it wont install on a US variant.

You can use sam frimware tool to download the ROM with no bandwidth cap issues. Search XDA for the tool

Beta is already out in UK and South Korea, and so far we only have people with the Ultra and the Base model fetch the package for us. Ultra's dominated the sales, that's why the Ultra forums are a lot richer compared to the one we're here.
It's simple, we need someone with an Unlocked S21+ in UK to do the Beta apply, it's there, it's waiting for someone to grab it. If they release it in Germany, i'll make sure i share it here.
