So I was wondering since music streaming apps are free to stream on T-Mobile , is there a way to add other apps to it ? Like would it be as easy and renaming the apk and other info of the app (example instagram) to for example Pandora? Not sure how T-Mobile sees the music streaming app. Please help

Sorry if this has been asked previously, I have spent some time looking for a solution.
Due to the Moto G only having small memory (in my case 8gb) and no expandable memory, I was wondering if there is some music / media player that will allow me to view and play my media from Google Drive?
Its a bit of a pain for me to go into the Drive app and scout through everything to find a song which then stops playing if I come out of the app. It would be much easier if all my media in Drive was to show up in a media playing app and play in the background.
So any ideas anyone?
TIA

ES Explorer - It can integrate with Drive (and other Cloud Services and SMB shares) and has a basic music player inbuilt that will stream from Drive, and supports basic playlisting. Alternatively you can send single music files to other installed music players on the device. It has a Picture viewer as well. For video it looks for video players on the device to use as the renderer.
Alternatively you could just use Google Play Music and utilise Google's generosity in allowing you to upload upto 20,000 of your own tracks to the Play Music Server to access via streaming. They don't eat into your Drive allowance either.
Don't want to trust the cloud - set up your own Media Server on a PC/Mac/NAS at home and stream from that. Plex is reasonably OK, but you'll need to invest some time in setting it up and I'm not wholly convinced this is without security issues for your home network.
The google play music manager for my PC is just what I needed ! thanks for that I didnt know it even existed
Ive just transferred all my music from my PC into the manager and now I can access them through the music app! Thank you very much :good:
HI XDA Experts ,
I am able to download music from Gaana app in my phone by finding the location where the songs are stored but the same cannot be done by Wynk App.
Did anybody found a way for Wynk App. wynk stores songs in storage/android/com.bsbportal.music
Anyone was able to identify the format Wynk uses for its files. I can see all the files in 'com.bsbportal.music/files'.
The files don't have an extension are either encrypted or in a format playable by the app only.

DRM music can only played via certain apps. In this case ,it appears that the provider is using drm to restrict access.
Have a good day !
In the past I've copied my song collection to my phone but I need the space now for apps and other things. How can I make it so I can stream my music from the cloud? I just want to stream music from the cloud over wifi/data. I've heard Google music can work, but I don't see an option to play songs by folder. Is that possible?
I have Plex (paid version) but I have to get a Plex Pass ($5/month) to get the cloud streaming option.
Trying to find a simple solution (although I realize it may be unlikely) to sync both my amazon media folder with my google music media folder on my Galaxy s7. I dislike the amazon player app but this is where I purchase my music from. I prefer to use the Google music player. So syncing those two media directories would be ideal to avoid having to manually copy or move files over after every purchase. does anyone know a utility or app that can accomplish this? Or any suggestions as to maybe other options to avoid having to use the amazon player but being able to gain access to those mp3s and playing them through an alternative media player. All feedback is appreciated!
OK so for context i have a ancient lg l3 running cm 9 i use it as an mp3 player because of its headphone jack.i have spent days trying to get music streaming to work on it. so here are some apps that i have tried
Gaana- search and login does not work (kinda necessary for a music streaming app)
Spotify- so the only working apk i found was from one of those sketchy apk website if i correctly remember it was 1.2.5.3 so the apk was safe but no on demand music playback ( like you cant play a specific song you can only shuffle)and no skips ( and i am not giving a random apk from a rando website access to my premium account)
Amazon music-does not exist
Play music- DEAD
Apple music- i am not paying and probably dosent exist
so please suggest me some working apps or a way to get the above mentioned apps to work
