No one really knows until an exploit is actually released. Could be tomorrow, could be never.

Anyone have a solution or other options to possible downgrade to Kitkat or something that will allow me?

Not sure if Android 7.0 is available to update on J7 yet,but I would like to update my rooted J7 which is running Android 5.0 to Marshmallow.
How is that possible ?

U cant u have to get back to stock via odin and update normally and reroot it..

Android 7.0 is not available yet. On the other hand you can easily update your phone to 6.0.1 by downloading the new firmware from Sammobile.com and then flashing it using odin but you'll have to re-root your phone again.

Use cf auto root by chain fire, you have to use odin to flash it
