Here's the deal,
Things that you'll need:
1) A transparent back case.

In short you need a basic transparent back case, I use the Spigen Ultra-Hybrid Gunmetal.
2) You need a cutout for the back, there are multiple ways of doing it. If you buy a ringke fusion you get a cutout for free. If you dont like it, you can make it yourself. Place the phone on a white paper, outline the case using a pencil. Cut along the outline. you can leave a little space and cut along depending how thick your bumper is. Now place the cutout in the case and see if you need any adjustments. Similarly make a camera viewport cutout. Now you should have piece of paper that exactly fits into the case.
3) Take a good printout of whatever you want to show off and using the cutout you made as a reference, make the printed cutout you want in your case.
4) Voila! you are done. If you do it precisely you should have a flawless custom made back case. Mine almost looks like it is printed on the polycarbonate back.
Here's a Naruto one I made for myself:

Just bought one of these for my Desire HD and it turned up this morning...
pretty impressed with it
Flip case with good padding on the edges which rap around the phone and gives a secure fit.
Edges are well padded as in the front screen section this has extra padding to help save the screen

Thanks for posting the photos! I've been looking at this case. How has it held up so far? How securely does the Desire HD fit into the case - does it lock or snap in well?
i saw my friends using this case, seems preety awesome...maybe time to change case for my self
wow this looks really good and promising. But my concern is with the flipping part, like how's holding the phone in landscape? like are there any problems? does the flip get in the way or does it fold all the way to the back?
time to change my case?!
But i dont understand one thing, when you make a call, is the flip just hanging around, or how is it in use? Does it flip up or down?
Looks very backward on the pics from mobilefun.co.uk...
So Skinomi was the only skin available when I ordered my phone and I just got it installed to day. No pics of the front as its just the usual clear front skin but here are some pics of the carbon fiber black back. It fits pretty well but does leave the sides a little unprotected. Pictures with and without flash, couldn't tell which ones were better.
Install of the carbon fiber is a little more difficult to line up as you cannot slide it around because it doesn't use solution, its just a sticker with special adhesive. I got it as strait as I could. Enjoy.

It looks pretty neat, but why is the bottom split in half and the top isn't seems to me you just cover the entire thing at once or split it into three segments like the original back cover.

Just got the Gooseberry Leather Flip cover from Mercury for my S4. It looks premium, goes nicely with my other leather accessories. So if you're using an S4 and want to cover the whole plastic it has, this case is meant for you. It's too early to judge the leather quality but for some quick touch, it feels smoothly great in my hands. The sewing line is tidy and firm, just like other premium leather stuffs would have.
The inside plastic piece, which is to hold the S4, is well done with clean cuts with no ingot. It sticks to the leather case and fixes the device firmly.
My previous case was the Neo Hybrid which didnt add much bulk to the S4 and I'm so used to it. So switching to this case, I had to spend a day or two to get used to it. I would say it adds double bulk, compared to my previous case, when closed. Thus, I find myself carrying the phone more often than before.
Here are some more pics:
What do you guys think about something like this for the Note 4?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pink-Flexib...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item259a661c2a
I already have a screen protector on it and I figure with the back, it's replaceable in a worst case scenario!
Would this type of bumper be any good? More than anything I think it would just provide lips so that I could place it down on a table without worrying about scratching...

And there are a view different kinds, like this clear one (which is also "hard TPU")
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CLEAR-WHITE...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item5b089f8ccd
I have a different bumper case; it's TPU but the openings look very similar to the one's linked. IMO, these cases shouldn't be considered ideal for drop protection. I've looked and the camera bezel protection is nil; maybe some protection, if dropped on a flat surface. Not confident in that but sitting on a flat surface may be OK.
I just use it around the house or quick outings. I just don't plan on dropping this phone with this case but that's a risk. The case seems sure to grip in my hand holding and transferring to and from my belt mounted pouch; feels lighter, slimmer and easier on/off as well as holding in landscape view. My 2¢.

So this is the packaging. Front,
and back.
It came with a wrist strap, micro fiber cloth, instructions,
and ear phone extension.
And here's the case front,
and back.
So, this case is pretty damn good for the money. Calls are clear on both ends. Speaker sounds good. The buttons are easy to press. Keeps the phone sealed up as advertised. The fit and finish aren't perfect, but for the money you can't beat it.
Why I say the fit and finish aren't perfect...
The phone can move ever so slightly in the case. As seen by the misaligned menu and back button cutouts. A simple tap on the case and it shifts back into place. Only happened when I would first put the case on. Tried it three times and all three times I had to tap it back into place. But never happened during normal use. I didn't drop it to check if that would make it happen, but I would assume so. Sorry the pic sucks, I took it with my tab 4.
Also, this little speaker cover isn't centered.
And the one clasp by the power button is a little loose.
So overall I like it. This will be my case will I'm at work.
