Hi.I get this error while trying to root my phone:

[Q] problem with flashing cm

Hi all,
i want to flash cm on my xperia arc. i have already rooted the device and unlocked the bootloader. i have followed the guide from the cm wiki. Now i run fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img and then appears this: sending 'boot' (5228 KB)...
(bootloader) USB download speed was 9342kB/s

I've been trying to flash a stock recovery or CWM Touch onto my HTC One using fastboot.exe that came with the latest version of ADK.
This is what happened:
sending 'recovery' (9480 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.096s]
writing 'recovery'...
(bootloader) signature checking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 2.630s
Please help. I've looked upon at least 30 websites, including xda-developers.Thanks!
Why don't you just flash it through the app? Or flash twrp through goo manager. It's also touch based.

Redownload the image.

It sounds like your bootloader is still locked. Unlock it through htcdev before trying to fastboot flash recovery.

ive been following numerous tutorials and with everyone of them i receive the same error message what could i be doing wrong?
i turned oem on on fastboot but that as far as i could go i cant go beyond flashing the recovery.
