Thinking of buying a Lenovo tab 2 A10

Hi I am thinking of buying a Lenovo tab 2 A10 tablet however I have some questions I really want to figure out before making the purchase. Its ok if you don't have an answer to all these but the lollipop bugs one is the most important to me as I do not want to just have another kitkat tablet.
This is the exact tablet I am thinking of buying
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...C4VDqWWtdGbfWPdceBgvmxoCMQzw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
I have been hearing in reviews that there is an audible buzzing sound through headphones at low volumes. Is this true? if so is it annoying?
I read a thread here on xda about people downgrading back to kitkat from lollipop. Is the latest firmware from lenovo really so buggy that it would warrant downgrading to lollipop? What bugs are there in the lollipop firmware? I really want a 10 inch lollipop tablet that is close to stock android with a decent screen.
How long does it take to charge from empty or close to empty using the included charger?
How good is the wifi reception?
Anyone know if it will get any updates past lollipop?
Are there developers working on custom roms for this tab?

NotePro 12.2 4.4 -> 5 ? But which 5 & which method ?

4.4 -> 5
Hi,
Just a question regarding those who have updated their Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Tablets from 4.4 Kitkat to Lollipop
Out of all who have updated to either 5.02 be it the recommended Korean version or the .NL (An EU version) or even the more recent people who have appeared to have upgraded via flashing to 5.1.1 from an SD card .Zip file...
Has anyone any thoughts on out of all the possible upgrading options / routes I could use / go which they think is the best for a UK based user who only really requires that his Samsung S Keyboard + S mouse both work & that my Bluetooth will work fine too with say Apple device's too etc...
Out of all the current available ways of upgrading my Note Pro 12.2 from 4.4 to Lollipop which would be the more recommended option bearing in mind I don't care about running any modified Roms or doing much Modding if I could avoid needing to do so & that I'm just basically sick of waiting for the .UK Vers of Samsung to offer me an official normal WiFi update like it's clear they should have been offering about a year ago ?
Seeing all the countries that have already been offered the update but still no UK 1 isn't really making me a big fan right now of Samsung & the way they operate when it comes to updates TBH & it saddens me greatly !
So as it looks like the UK won't be getting offered a straightforward Lollipop update like the rest of the world = Which method from those I've mentioned above would be the best option for me ?
Any & all suggestions appreciated greatly & I do apologise for asking such a N00b'sh question it's just that I haven't flashed/ molded a device in ages & would like the best advice possible from the best users possible Hence I thought of XDA
So can anyone or a few experienced note Pro 12 users/ modders suggest my best course of upgrade decision/ choice/ method ?
Cheers
If you have P905, definitely THIS with whatever version?
Hi,
Sorry I should have made this clear ;
It's the basic P900 with only Wi-Fi & it was imported from the Philippines to use in the UK here with me & my UK S Samsung Keyboard + S Mouse
Thank you for the reply but I honestly don't need a Modified ROM if I can avoid it.
I was just wondering out of the options/ choices I had mentioned above what gets the most/ biggest Thumbs up from any guys who have upgraded their P900's
Cheers
Bump Bump...
Any1 Any Advice since I hear that there will be no official UK lollipop getting released by Samsung . ?
Cheers.

[Completed] LG G FLEX 2 - No tethering options.

I own a LG G Flex 2 LS996 model on android 5.1.1 and after a lot of searching I cannot find anyone with this problem. Unlike every other g flex 2 there are no options for tethering and seeing as I want to be able to create my own hotspot from my phone to use other devices this is getting really annoying, comparing to my friends g flex 2 he has all of the options available so I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light or if someone has also experienced this problem? Thanks.

I received a response from the LG about software updates for GF2

Their answer
------Reply to Your Inquiry-------
Hi Marko,
Thank you for contacting LG Mobile Communications.
I’d be glad to assist you today with regard your LG G Flex 2 mobile phone. In response to this inquiry, I’m afraid no confirmation has been provided for the LG G Flex 2 unit regarding the Marshmallow update since the software has been released by Google. The reason for the release date variation is because software updates follow a certain process.
For Android, it is faster to receive updates on Google products (for phones, that’s the Nexus line) or on unlocked/rooted units wherein the update may be installed manually (although not supported by LG as this is a customization). For carrier-specific devices, this may take longer and will vary. After a phone manufacturer like LG prepares the software with the help of the developer (Google who made Android), the update will have to run through carriers PCS in order for them to incorporate carrier-specific features - and also test the new software thoroughly on the network. After some collaboration, the carrier will then approve the update and push it out to your device which will then be downloaded and installed through the network signals from your carrier.
As such, you may also directly correspond with your carrier if they already have an estimated date for the release of the update. In case that there’s none yet, I’m afraid we’ll still have to wait. I do apologize.
I hope this information has been helpful in addressing your concern. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again via Email, Live Chat, or Phone by calling 800-793-8896.
Thank you for choosing LG.
Sincerely,
Jade

Yeah. Typical waste of time response. But its sad that even LG itself is recommending you to buy Nexus because OEM makers have zero interest into updating old devices
Well they said that we should still waiting for updates, but they are almost certainly say that update will come but don't now when, because the tests that need to be done.
I'm really disappointed with that fact, but I'll wait. Hope so that come soon.
This means nothing, standard ctrl+c ctrl+v response.
Reminds me of my first smartphone, my HTC Rezound. Holiday season 2011, it was competing with the Galaxy Nexus running the new ICS. Everybody and their mother said the Rez would be updated from GB quickly to compete with the Nexus. Verizon didn't push ICS until June. Almost killed the community because of how long the wait was.
Sounds like US carriers are giving this G Flex 2 the same red-headed stepchild treatment, delaying the ROM with bloatware and whatever marketing scheme they can think of to make it appealing in their device lineups (like Verizon positioning the Rezound as an "international SIM" device amongst their typical CDMA offers.)
So yeah, "blame the carrier" has been the same response on many smartphones for years and likely many more years to come.
wouldve been more interesting to ask about a boot loader unlock

"will *insert random phone name* receive update?
yes, just sit & wait, devs working, etc."
@le grande magnetto:
I have to ask, is that a picture of your Flex 2 in your sig? If so, it appears you're using a matte screen protector - if that's true can you tell me which brand you're using? Thanks...

I`m thinking right now that because there is no mm update, there never will be. Same as so many good device before LG just drop those too early. I have LG G Pad 8.3 also and it is still 4.4.2. Fortunately theres cyanogenmod and unofficial 13.0 working nicely on that tablet. Give us at least bootloader unlock, PLEASE!!

why you still in 4.4.2 in GPad 8.3?? Meh...the 5.1 came so long ago...i remember had my GPad 8.3 and 3 months later when i brought it they get 5.1...see around the web for some KDZ with 5.1 and flash it on your G Pad 8.3...because you will find the 5.1 to it!
For GF2...we will have to wait until next month...the update will come!
LG is taking too much time to update our phone. I don't reallt know why, it's a great phone that only can get better with every update

Gonna buy a Note 4 (Switching from LG G4)

I'm going to buy a Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910L. I just wanted to know if it's possible to root the MM version of this particular variant, also if there's any custom ROM available for this variant.
The reason I'm asking this is because I recently bought a LG G4 H818P and found out that the MM version of that phone isn't possible to root yet and also there isn't any custom ROM available. So, I downgraded it to LP, but there are a lot of bugs, very very bad battery life. So now I'm bound to switch to another phone and found that Note 4 is the one that meets my budget and requirements.
Any advice is very much welcomed. Thanks in advance.
