Not that I've been able to find. The Moto app doesn't have it plus Moto Assist and Moto Contextual Services seem to be uninstallable with this phone. I don't understand why Motorola wouldn't have a compatible version of Moto Assist for this phone.

While I have the 2015 model on order, the original XT1032 I use at present doesn't have a specific 'driving mode' but my car still reads me any text messages coming in. Maybe they've decided that's better handled by the bluetooth client in the car rather than on the phone.

I can't find the internet calls settings on my phone and I would like to know if it's just me or Motorola decided not to add the native VoIP settings on this phone. I have the 16 GB version bought in UK, unrooted & bootloader locked, so I didn't changed a thing.
Cheers
I contacted Motorola about this and here's their answer:
Thank you for contacting Motorola.
We are sorry to inform you that the Motorola Moto G does not have native support for Internet calls, you can however, visit Google Play in order to download an Internet calls application that suits your needs.

What a shame.. Even in the KitKat ROM?
Has anybody with a Google Play Edition model checked to see if the SIP feature exists in the dialer app of the GPE ROM?

Nope, not even in kitkat...
I was searching myself..
VoIP definitely IS enabled in the Moto G GPE KitKat (4.4.2) dialer - I used it for a couple of days and it worked fine.
I'm back on the retail rom now so can't give more info...
Take a look!

Maybe a next version of Moto G with cdma for US came with NFC!!
The Nexus 5 has NFC, so my assumption is that it's baked into KitKat and they just didn't remove the setting toggle. I don't think it's indicative of anything. ALTHOUGH, it seems like I read somewhere that there is some sort of 'nfc emulation' option included in KitKat...not sure how the hell that works, but perhaps that's its toggle? In either case, I don't think it's indicative of anything insofar as the MotoG is concerned.

Host Card Emulation - requires an NFC controller though.
I'm guessing someone screwed up and added the Tags app to the build even though it won't work.
ohh i fought maby theres an nfc chip and it has to be enabled like miracast

I doubt that, its most likely a QC screw up. NFC is not that expansive, so if they wanted to add it to the Moto G, they would have.
Strangely there are NFC-related files in the kernel source. I don't know whether they did something silly like include the chip with no antenna (there were numerous rumors Samsung did this on the I9100 in preparation for the I9100P and I777...), or of maybe we have a bunch of Moto X stuff mixed into our kernel source (due to Moto trying to maintain a common baseline)
Recently I bought MOTO G. And I was taking pictures and I see some distortion in image captured so I ignored few pictures but then I see that type of picture is not single time issue. I am not sure if it is hardware fault or something else.
Sample picture is attached with this post.
Let me know if you guys have any idea. Is it because of some hardware fault?

You could try and root your device and try another ROM. If you use search you come across similar issues on the XDA forum. In some cases this has to do with software and a specific camera setting. But if you are still on stock rom you can also just return the device and say the camera is faulty.

Yes, It just one week old. But here what I was thinking if I get replaced moto g still this issue is going to be there on new device? As after all it is same MOTO G? As if it is software issue and going to be there in new replaced mobile phone also then I think there is no meaning for replacement.

I already did one time. This is second time.
Hello, as much as I appreciate Samsung's concern for my health and safety, I am getting annoyed by the volume notification that says "Listening to music on high volume for long periods of time might be harmful" etc., sometimes I'm out running and I try to turn up the volume, it'll vibrate and block it, so I'm forced to pull out my phone and dismiss the freaking notification.
I tried searching for it in the settings, nothing came up as a toggle switch off.. Thanks ?

Nothing you can do about it without root. Samsung doesn't understand that external bluetooth devices have independent volume controls, apparently.

How do you do it when rooted?
I actually don't know on this phone. On the S4, I used Xposed to remove the volume warning, but I don't know if that's available for the S6 yet. Might check the S6 development forums to see if there's anything.
This is an Android feature, not Samsung. I think Google added it in KitKat to comply with some laws somewhere.

I'm pretty sure it's a Samsung thing. The Moto G 2nd Gen running the 5.0 update doesn't do it, and didn't do it on the shipped 4.4 OS.

My LG Optimus G does it and so does my Nexus 7 (stock Android).

Well, I didn't know that. I don't use Google-stock android devices, and the Optimus G, when I had it, never did that. I did sell it before the update, though.
Hey,
I've been looking for a Call Recorder on the Motorola Moto G 2013 single Sim, no LTE. XT1032.
I could'nt really find anything that is working
I just rooted my device.
Do you know of any that works not just by using the microphone to record but the "phone line"?
I am trying to use the Boldbeast App, but I can't get it working :/
But apparently it should work:
boldbeast.KOM/forum/topic842-moto-g-call-recorder.html (<- gotta change that link as I am not allowed to post links yet)
Thanks in advance!
Best wishes.
