T-Mobile Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360T, random vibrating? - Samsung Galaxy Core

I have an issue that I can't find any info on about the same phone. Regardless of what I'm doing, my phone will vibrate once and then rapidly 2-3 times after about 5 secs after the first vibrate. it happens more frequently when playing games or browsing, sometimes one after the other consecutively. It's very annoying -_-
Now after doing some research I've seen the same issue on the Galaxy S III and a couple other devices and narrowed it down to the "bugreport" and/or "bugmailer.sh" file(s), or in my case the bugreport. Apparently a fix for this is to delete, move, or just rename the file as it is connected to anything major and it's safe to get rid of. However my problem is I cannot root my device, not yet anyways. I've tried a few different tools including Framaroot, iRoot, and King Root with no luck.
Does anybody know of another fix for this? Or no of a way to root my specific device?

Duplicate Media Files

Is there any permanent fix for this issue?
I know about the clearing Media Storage data, etc. But that doesn't fix this issue for more than a week.
I read this thread, but that sounds way outside of my comfort zone of tweaks.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847586
Is this the only way to keep this from happening, or is there an alternative? I know this issue comes up a lot, but I haven't seen anything posted recently on this topic, and I wanted to ask about the Skyrocket model in particular.
Info:
I'm running the latest stock ICS from AT&T/Samsung on my Galaxy SII Skyrocket. I had previously had my phone rooted and tried various other GB/ICS/JB builds, but had the same duplicate media bug with those, too.
Edit: Can I avoid this by running all my media off the internal storage on the phone? This option is not ideal, but beats having to reset my phone/ringtones 2 times a week.
Does anyone know ANY way to prevent this? I had totally factory reset my phone about 1 month ago and wasn't having this issue until recently. Now it's to the point where it duplicates my files after every 2 or 3 reboots. It's ridiculous. I find it odd that this problem is so common, yet I cannot find a way to prevent it from happening after nearly every reboot.
Is it an issue with ICS? Or it something Google has acknowledged? I'm open to anything, guys. Suggestions, hypothesis, even conspiracy theories.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Rugby: various issues

Hello all,
I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any device-related subforum for the Samsung Galaxy Rugby (GT-S5690M). If my questions are in the wrong section, please move it to the right place (mods)?
So here's the story: I just got my first smartphone. Since it's locked to Bell, it has some bloatware and need for sim-unlocking. I did a lot of reading and through some tutorials I managed to root Android and got rid of some bloatware (just four Bell apps). So far so good! Then I tried to unlock the phone. There are some apps in the Google Play that state that they can unlock the phone for free ("works on various Galaxy models").
I tried them out, but none of them could provide a solution. The last app I tried (Galaxy_S Unlock) requested that BusyBox were to be installed, so I did. During the installation the app remarked that already some BusyBox version was installed, but not the version that it was trying to install. I was suppose to try another type of installing (I used the normal/safe mode). But it said it was already installed, so good enough. Right? I tried the unlocking app again, but it still said it had errors getting to communicate with BusyBox. None of the unlocking apps gave me the impression that they changed anything in the system.
I figured that maybe a reboot of the phone would fix this. However, now the phone got several issues:
- booting takes forever (18 minutes) It does the animated Samsung logo (though, not with sound any more) and then keeps on slowing the glowing Samsung name.
- the speaker doesn't seem to be working at all
- it can no longer check for updates. After agreeing with the disclaimer, it says it can't connect.
- KIES doesn't see the phone any more.
- the phone is generally very slow now. Even when typing a password the phone sometimes hangs for about 5-10 seconds. Loading the disclaimer for the Software Updater takes 10-15 seconds.
I tried to reset to factory defaults and reload the rooting zip file again, but to no avail.
I've been trying to read up on the isolated symptoms, but I'm simply starting to feel overloaded with all the info, especially since I'm a Android newbie.
Does anybody recognize these symptoms and, more important, has any tips on what to try to restore whatever has gone wrong?
Additionally, I would really be interested in knowing if there's a way to force-upgrade to Jelly Bean. It appears that this firmware hasn't been made available to Rugby users yet through the regular update channels. But are there alternatives?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Huawei Y201 NFC U8666n-1 trouble

OK so I recently switched this neat, cheap and decent entry phone, and of course wanted to root and unlock the bootloader.
Using the technique outlined in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066887 "[ROOT][CWM] Huawei Ascend Y201 Pro U8666" I managed to happily root the device. Meaning I could install droidwall and adfree, and uninstall one or two of the annoying Huawei apps. (Surprisingly there are less Vendor apps on this than the previous Ideos U8150 I had.)
So happy that that worked, I thought I would go to the next stage and unlock the boot loader, in preparation for maybe installing clockworkmod recovery. And eventually a ROM if I could find one that looked "safe" and sound.
Cranking up the "UnlockBootloader.exe" as before and clicking the unlock BOOTLOADER initiated something on my phone... However when I switched off my phone preparatory to rebooting, I found what I guess to be a bricked/borked device.
There's no vibrate, no flash on screen, no logo, no pink screen that other people talk about in the few reports I have found around the web. Just that the lower backlit soft buttons flash ten times and then nothing else happens. I can't even find information about what this obviously low level failure message means...
As you can guess, I have tried all sorts of things to get it going: battery removal; powering from USB while botting; any and all of the key press holds for boot; all to the same effect. Have tried several times to find anything similar on the net and can't seem to find anything similar. Especially the ten flash indicator
So my question is "Is this an absolute sign that the device is bricked?" I guess I could try to play the innocent and send it back under warranty, but I guess someone will realise it was my fault. Unless a memory failure happened at the exact time I was flashing/unlocking...
And a warning that same device owners should be careful when following the guide. I'm pretty sure I had everything as outlined. I'm running XP, didn't have it mounted, had fastboot off, etc... Although now its hard to check on the device to see if that was the case
and also
I should also perhaps add that before using UnblockBootLoader with root success, I tried the ICS "adb restore" directory traversal vulnerability, which is part of Root_with_restore, and was unsuccessful.
And that there's no life reported at a low, USB device level to my linux kernel, when plugged in now. So I can't even try a firmware patch using adb etc.
Of course I can't post a relevant cautionary note into the above mentioned thread, as I have yet to reach the 10 post milestone mark, enabling me to post in that section...
Hi,
Sorry for opening an old thread, have the same issue and just wanted to know if you manged to resolve this or it you just took it back to the shop?
Regard
No solution
No - I never managed to work out or find a solution. I just got a new one, and only went as far as the root'ing stage.
I have never seen an applicable ROM for this device anyway, so I guess it wasn't too much of an issue. And root'ing to get those crucial management apps installed, and also being able to remove some Huawei "cruft" is the real thing you need.

Looking to Undo Root and All Customization, Need Help to do So

Ok, so as the title says, I'm looking to completely undo having rooted my tablet, and all the customization I did to it, but I'm having a bit of trouble.
According to multiple apps my tablet is no longer rooted, and I got the stock rom from Sammobile flashed on it, and I have the stock recovery back, but I seem to be suffering from the wifi problem that CM suffers, I know this as I can connect to my 5G wifi as well, which I'm never able to do when the tablets wifi is working correctly, and also even connected I barely have any speed, if even any.
Now I know of the wifi fix you can flash through TWRP, but as I said, no more TWRP, and I don't want to reinstall it, I want everything back to stock.
Now, I know of Wifi Fix's for other tablets, like the Galaxy S4, that you can flash on with Odin, but I can't seem to find one like that for the Note Pro 12.2. So if anyone can send me a link I'd really appreciate it.
And also, I can't remember, but did the Note Pro 12.2 ever get anything higher then Android 5.0.2? Because I try to update it, and it says because my tablet was modified I can't do so. Plus Sammobile doesn't have higher then 5.0.2 but I read somewhere that it got 5.1.1 so I really don't know, any help on that front as well would be great.
Now, you may be wondering why I want to do this, in truth I'd rather have my tablet rooted, I save so much battery life getting rid of all the bloatware. But no matter what I do, there always ends up being a problem with my tablet.
I follow all the instructions given, I do exactly what everyone else does, even having someone walk me through it step by step once, and always it goes horribly wrong.
The first time my Nova Launcher would crash constantly, and then everything else would start crashing with it. Then the second time all my videos would play stuttering and jerky, and the audio would be out of sync horribly, and nothing I did would fix it. And now most recently, even though the tablet it connected to the computer, the drivers always fail installation, and even when they are successful, I'm still unable to actually access the tablet from my pc.
I read somewhere that it may be because I disabled Media Storage, but with Media Storage I have just as many problems, it drains my battery like crazy, it causes things to load up extremely slow when accessed through the computer, if a folder has a hundred files for example, it will take almost twenty minutes for them all to load up, and you can't do anything until they do, and if you try copying something into a folder without going into it you'll just be stuck in an endless loop of copying that never ends.
But without Media Storage everything loads up just as quickly as say an SD Card, so said 100 files only takes a few seconds.
And worse thing it caused, which troubled me for a long time before I found out what caused it, at random the media storage would decide to claim 20gb's of space, saying it was all taken up, when it isn't. And it would keep happening at random times, and at random sizes. Near the end it had taken up every bit of free space I had and didn't change back even after several days which is what led me to looking up what was causing that in the first place.
So as you can see, leaving Media Storage enabled is a big no for me. So as such I'm unable to root and customize my tablet for that reason as well.
Now, before you say how weird it is that I have such trouble, and how you have no idea why it would happen, there is a very key reason, Technology HATES me. Trust me, more often then not when I try to do something that works for literally everyone else it fails for me, like say connecting an Xbox controller and getting it to work on my pc. Yeah, never works even after almost 5 hours of trying. So yeah, technology hates, maybe even dispises me.
So anyway, if you can help me fix the wifi, and the update problem if that's possible, I'd really appreciate it.
Are you able to get it connected to a PC?
There are tutorials on how to go back to complete stock if you haven't tried Knox I might search for what people have done before they take the their device back to the carrier. Many people want to un-root before they give up their old devices.

Nexus 6P blocked ADB

Hello, not sure if this is the right thread to be posting this on but here goes...I am trying to root my phone mainly because I want to open up more resources, get rid of certain programs, try out new rooms and I'm interested in development. But another more pressing reason now is because I believe my phone has been hacked. It, along with the last few phones I've had (I've been changing phones to run from whatever is happening.) changes security settings on it's own, goes through batteries way to quickly and uses data when it shouldn't be. Certain options in settings have been grayed out and others keep getting switched back from where I put them. I absolutely cannot run adb because I cannot get my computer to recognize them. I can't run adb over WiFi either. I've tried different computers, operating systems and everything I know to do. I've spent weeks (literally weeks) trying different suggestions from different websites and tutorials and nothing works. I've used Windows, Linux and OSX. I even payed one click root to do it and they couldn't either. I've been looking at what logs and other info I can get from apps but it's limited info because I don't have root. I have read some manifest docs and even though I'm a noob they just don't sound right and certain apps permissions are way out there. I've checked call logs through two carriers, T-Mobile and now Verizon and both indicate that my phone is sending back to back texts and making phone calls that I didn't make. And I mean a lot of them. I've even made it a point to leave my phone at home all day and not use it and my call logs have still indicated usage. I really need some help...I don't know what to do at this point, I feel defeated, angry and frustrated. I believe that it has something to do with firebase and possibly my ex-wife. About a year ago I found an .apk file in her Google drive called ( truthspy.apk ). I did some research and it wasn't good. This was like 5 phones ago and she hasn't had physical access to my last few phones. I'm not sure what's going on but I know for a fact something is going on and Im respectfully requesting someone's help. Is there something that I can do like invoke a log or bug report or go somewhere and take a screen shot to someone something that they would be able to look at and tell if it wasn't right or that something was going on?
Thanks.
