I just ordered SGS6E+ for replacing my current phone, however, it was hard to find a descent case for this. I usually do not prefer to use a case, however, with the glass back and the edge display, I'm not just ready yet to take that kind of risk (specially with my history of dropping phones several times a day). Usually I go with the highest rated cases on amazon, however, since the release of the phone is due on 21st, none of the accessories are reviewed yet. Based on Galaxy S6 Edge case reviews, I finally selected the following case and screenguard:-
Spigen Neo Hybrid Carbon Case for Galaxy S6 Edge+ (Plus)
ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+
Just a word of advice, do not buy any dry application screen protectors for your edge phones, the glue usually don't last towards the edge.
I'm really excited to know what other cases are you guys planning to buy or already bought for your edge+.:cyclops:
I ordered the same case. Should be here monday along with the phone. Didn't see any glass screen protectors yet. Which i have used on my last several phones and have yet to break one.

You can't really apply any tempered glass protectors anymore, not on edge display of Edge+ and 2.5D display of Note 5. You will get some, but those won't cover your entire screen (not till edges) and that way looks really odd. That's why I mentioned earlier that we need to get a wet application protector (if its edge+). Google on this for more info. Let us know if you find something useful about it.
I hadn't even looked up the issue of the glass protection not fitting.

I just orded the arozell crystal clear series: http://www.amztk.com/gs6epcc
Tried the sgp clear case on my s3 and a little sorry for its thin and loose design, anyway, I'm also like to keep the original fashion instead of other entry class case to make my s6 edge+ been a cheap one. It's also less than $10.00 and not so worried on the cost....
Hi
Im looking for a POWER Case, like this one : http://www.incipio.com/chargers/off...-extended-battery-case-samsung-galaxy-s6.html
This one is pretty awsome as it let you add a SD Card also. So hopefully they come up with one model for the Edge+.
I currently own a S5 with a Zerolemon 7 500 mHa Battery. Im a big power user.

I just ordered the Spigen Ultra Hybrid ... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010MWEWVS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Don't know how it will perform. I did contact Spigen and they assured that the case fits well this time (there were some case fit issues with the S6 edge). I figured, at $10.99, even if its horrid, I'm not out too much...

Well im in Canada, so none of them lol, Rogers here.
Just wonder if any case can affect the wireless charging.
I was watching Youtube case reviews for the S6 Edge while I was waiting for my Plus to arrive.. One guy reviewed like 6 or 7 cases, testing the wireless charging for each one as he swapped them out and they worked.. At least for the cases he reviewed.. (and the S6 Edge non plus)
You have the link?

Check the reviews of Spigen cases for S6 and S6 Edge. They do work with Samsung and other QI based charger. However, few of them have reported that PMA pads are having trouble with any cases attached. I would suggest buy a Samsung Fast Wireless Charger / Samsung (Regular) Wireless Charger (both are QI) and works well with most of the cases. I got mine free with Edge+ @ BestBuy.
Wow, it's cool. I think finaly suitable for Galaxy S6 Plus.

Has anyone been into best buy in the last day or two? Any cases in stock? My phone will be in tomorrow and I don't want to open the box without having a screen protector and case ready to go.

Although I've already bought one ArmorSuit and Skinomi (since they were available @ $0.95 with promo code), I still wanna put a screen guard right away at BestBuy. However, usually BestBuy sells the screen protectors at a very high price (almost 2 - 3 times of Amazon Price). If its available under $15, I'll get one, otherwise I'll see right then and there...

definitely a counterfeit...
I didn't think they could pull that off thru Amazon, I just purchased will let you know if I get it and if I do what it's like.
Otherwise I'm protected.
Yeah, I saw this on Amazon yesterday and was peeved because I ponied up the 60 bucks for this case at the Verizon store when I got my S4 this past weekend,
And that's still too much for those goofy cases!

I disagree with your opinion that the case is "goofy".. The genuine S-View cover is very nice. Adds no bulk to the phone yet protects the most vulnerable part of the phone....the screen. It can be used with the OEM Universal Multimedia dock, eliminates the lock screen and gives you the option to answer calls, etc., without having to open the cover. The more I use it, the more I like it. Got the real thing by making sure Amazon, LLC was the seller and paid about $30 with free shipping. Well worth it IMHO.

I think if it says "S IV" instead of "S 4" on the bottom of the cover or has "Samsung" at the top, its counterfeit. Someone posted a YouTube video either here or on Android Forums which showed one with a magnet so strong, it would put the phone into S-Mode when the cover was turned back on itself. Since yours did not have a magnet at all, it looks like there is more than one counterfeit model out there.

Like all the other wireless charging back cover samsung has on their other phones, no 3rd party manufacturer is going to mold a case for it. There's just no profit for the small population that will buy the wireless back cover.

Well.. I wouldn't call stretching the TPU rubber to extend fit, an actual form fitting case.
If you read this S4 thread; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333725&page=10
You can see that even to this date, there is no real 'made for wireless charging' back case available.

that's why Samsung should sell their phones with wireless covers from day one with the phone to not cause this problems.they only want to make more money and make things difficult to people that wanna use protective covers.
I really wanna this cover because i want to stay with the phone with water resistance but this are the things that makes me not want to use it

Cheers I try that and hope it works. Ideally I want to use a Candy Shell but I'm fairly certain it won't fit.
I wish Samsung had included this from the start. Now it's not worth a case makers time/money to make compatible cases.

I got a third party wireless receiver pad (which is used with the standard non wireless cover) on Amazon and my Spigen Slim fit case still fits, though there is a very slight (but almost unnoticeable) bulge where the wireless receiver is.
Currently the only cases that would work with the Samsung wireless charging cover are basic bumper type cases. Had the same issue on my Note 3.

The thing about 3rd party wireless receiver pad is that you lose your IP67 (water/dust proof), thats why most of us wants the official one

True, depending on thickness of the wireless receiver. I personally don;t intend to use my phone under water, or leave it in the glass of water next to my bed, and leave it in my pocket when in the loo, so not a big issue for me personally
Seriously though, there is very little chance that case manufacturers will make cases specifically for the S5 that has the standard wireless charging cover on (and if they do, they will be more expensive to compensate for limited demand), so if we want to use our slim fit / rugged cases AND have wireless charging, we may need to do without water / dust proof. If you do get
Or use a normal cover for a daily use. And when you arrive home that's where most of the people have their wireless pads. Switch covers. It's the only idea I think it's rubbish but yes. I agree with the statement above. The manufactures only gonna do cases for the phone that's released . Unless there was something that made the manufacturer's realise they can get a lot of money of. Doing new cases.
another way is to get wireless charging backcover and put a skin on it, but im not sure if it gona look good, because the skin is made for the normal backcover
Or use a bumper

Here is the quick review of the Samsung Note 4 S-View Wireless Charging Case and the Fake China S-View Case and some other cases ( Wallets and TPU)
Question?
Just wanted to put my opinion in also mate. Gotta say this is the worst case I have owned on any phone. I bought this case as I wanted to try the flip case. Firstly only get this case if you NEED a flip case. It covers the LED so only way to know if you have notifications is to turn the phone on. The edges of this case a hard and narrow, therefore holding the phone for periods becomes very uncomfortable. It also will not protect the phone if dropped, the front flip becomes slightly flexible so you will damage the corners of the phone if you drop it. Also the screen gets incredibly smudged by fingerprints unlike the actual screen. Very hard to keep clean as it has two sides to it.
Hate flip cases anyways

Verizonwireless.com has the charging case for $39.99 and the standard S-view for $19.99! Damn good prices considering the retail prices of these cases. Just ordered the charcoal one that has built-in charging. And no, you do not have to have an account to order. :good:

Thanks for the review.
I have a fake chinese flip S-view cover for my Galaxy S4, and for the price it was simply great. the S-view worked fine, and quality was really decent.
One I'm considering buying a similar one for my new Note 4, and I think that the original OEM cases (both wireless and non-wireless ones) are simple overpriced!
I made some searches, and noticed that there are no fake chinese ones with the IC chip which enables the native S-view windows. They all have those custom badly functioning apps you have to download from chinese websites, just like you mentioned in the video.
Is there any fake flip case with a working native S-view cover??
Thanks!!
I grabbed one from Verizon for $19.99 (as mentioned above). I found the price acceptable, but wouldn't pay the full price for it. It's a nice case, but the window smudges are annoying (as others have mentioned).

$20 is not that bad for a real S view case from Verizon. I don't think any fake one works same as real Sview because of the small magnet/chip insert cost more.

Hi Friends, I will recommed you iVoler Dot View Case for Samsung Galaxy s6, Ihave bought a Dot View Case for my s5. It's simple looking when it arrives - just a soft plastic cover with holes in the front. It comes with instructions and a code to install an app on your phone that creates the dot matrix illusion on the cover. The app can be a little finicky sometimes (sometimes it will shut off on it's own and I had the screen malfunction once, but restarting my phone fixed it and I haven't had that issue yet again). DO NOT LOSE YOUR APP'S SERIAL NUMBER. Sometimes the app logs you out and you need the serial number to log back in.
I haven't gotten the weather display to work, but mine does display the time, received text messages and incoming or missed calls. The box warns that the controls may not work with thicker screen protectors; I have a shatterproof glass screen protector so I can't answer the phone without opening the top flap. I suspect with a normal screen protector this wouldn't be an issue.
The case itself is pretty nice. I got the pink and I like the color. The back of the case actually replaces the back piece of your phone and it does not have waterproofing so the water resistance of the S5 will not work with this case. It is not a hefty case and will not protect your phone if you drop it. All and all, for the price, I am pretty happy with this and I think it works pretty well.

How's the protection for your S4 doing so far? Have you dropped it (and survived) before?
I was looking into the neo hybrid but I ended up getting the tough armor. I have it for my LG G2, and while it's slightly bulky, I've dropped it several times and it's survived without any noticeable damage.

Not bad, but I still prefer Zerolemon's battery case. For me is more useful, want a long long battery
Hey guys,
I'm grabbing a gold S6 Edge+ from the Samsung Store here in Romania. They offer as courtesy a 100$ voucher for any new S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+ that you buy. The voucher can be used to buy Samsung's official accesories for the phone. I read and seen a whole lot of complaints regarding screen scratching with the regular S6 Edge clear view cover, so I am definitely staying away from that one. I will be grabbing instead a fast wireless charger and an S-View Cover. I know I may sound paranoid lol, but is the same story going to repeat with the regular S-View cover? Is anyone aware or experienced scratches on the screen with this case? The last thing that anyone would want is a brand new scratched screen for a phone that costs a leg (935 USD here, unlocked version, gold variant, 32 GB). Thanks in advance guys!

Personally I'd grab a tempered glass screen protector well worth the money

It does! So a screen protector is a must.

I have been using the S-View cover for a few months now, no scratches visible. I never use a screen protector either. I do take good care of my phones though.

Using Samsung official S-View for a few months and everything is fine. No scratches on the screen and good protection overall.
I hesitated when I bought it because it's the first time I choose a flip case but I'm finally very happy. I think we don't need a screen protector with this case.
