[Completed] Why is android doze so inconsistent?

i have been using marshmallow last few days and i have found the doze feature to be inconsistent....if i keep it overnight my device does not drop even a single percent some days n sometimes it drops nearly 4 to 5% just like normal battery without the doze feature......shouldn't the doze feature put the apps to sleep with no background usage? i have found it to be very inconsistent
(P.S: i put my mobile data off at night and my brightness all the way down)

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Could I get the make, model, and carrier of your device so I can better direct your question?
Thank you.
hi thanks for the reply....i am using the android one phone Micromax canvas A1 and my carrier is Idea network in India...just so you know i have been experiencing heavy battery drain lately and when i check my battery stats it shows Android OS is keeping my phone awake for more than half the time so it means my phone never enters the doze mode technically...any solution to this?
Do you think its a marshmallow bug?? Thanks for the help in advance

Hi,
So there is this thread:
> Micromax Canvas A1 > Canvas A1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Android marshmellow 6.0 drains micromax canvas android one battery
It suggests downgrading to 5.1 (update listed in the forum somewhere) and then taking the 6.0 via system update.
If you have any questions or problems, please take advantage of that thread as they would have a better idea about the situation than I would.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed] Excess battery drain after rooting and installing xposed on micromax canvas 5 E481

Hi guys,
I have micromax canvas 5 mtk 6735 chipset 3gb ram running android
lollipop 5.1.1. I recently rooted my phone and installed cwm recovery
and xposed framework. After this the phone battery is draining too
fast with heating of phone. Now this is strange as in screen off mode
it is giving amazing backup even better than previous, like 3% in 8 hrs
but when screen is on, battery drains too fast like whole battery
drains in 2 hrs and the battery temp shoots up to 35-40 cel.
What I have already tried to resolve .
1) Freezed all third party apps but same situation.
2)Checked wakelock detector but no wakelocks.
3) Uinstalled xposed
4) booted in safe mode.
But no luck !! is cwm recovery the culprit ? how can I change it to
twrp if I want to?
I have attached screen shots of various observations to help.

[Completed] Phone dead after bootloop

I have Micromax A120, last week it suffered Bootloop I take it to customer service where they factory reset it and try to update the software. However, they told me software update fails around 50-60 percent and it required to install new motherboard with the cost as much as of the phone with one month warranty. I don't like the idea of changing motherboard and I think customer care guys try to solve it wrong way that create such problem. Please tell me why this happen and is there any way now I could repair my phone.
My phone specifications are :
Android 4.4Kitkat
1 GB RAM
Chipset Mediatek MT6582
CPU Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7
GPU Mali-400MP2
