Hi, i got a m2 aqua D2403 with locked bootloader and network locked on Vodafone Romania and after i went to a service for network unlocking when i checked on *#*37378423#*#* it said that my bootloader is unlockable and i was able to unlock it with a code from sony. I am not very familiar with bootloaders and all, but how was that possible? And that means that I should follow the tutorials for UB now? For some reason I can't seem to be able to boot to recovery, not even with adb. I'm on C.1.17 stock, and flashed a CM recovery with fastboot

Right now I have the 4.0.4 Android( stock version) of the xperia j with locked bootloader and I've rooted-it and I've also installed the CWM.
I would like to install Cyanogen Mod 10.1 but since I have the 11.0.A.7.5 firmware I have locked bootloader and I can not flash it.
My question is if I can flash an older stock firmware and by doing so will I be able to unlock my bootloader?
From what I understand right now since I have a locked bootloader I can only flash stock ROMs so if that is correct than can I just flash an older stock ROM, one that will allow me to unlock my bootloader and than flash CM 10.1 on my Xperia J?
And another question- I know that by unlocking the bootloader I will also loose my warranty but from searching the XDA forums I saw that I can make a backup copy of my stock ROM and flash it to relock the bootloader again. Is that accurate ?
Thanks in advance for your help!
First is your bootloader unlockable. Then you can unlock on any firmware via sonys website. I dont think there's a cm10.1 released for j. If you unlock your bootloader you will loose DRM keys forever even if you relock they will still be gone that's how Sony will know your bootloader was unlocked.
It is not unlockable, that is why I wanted to flash another version of a stock ICS.
Won't that allow me to unlock the bootloader ?
From what I understood right now I can only flash stock Roms with the locked bootloader, is it correct or since I have the "NO" status at the bootloader I can't even do any of that ?
I bought Xperia E3 D2203 from a carier (VIP mobile Serbia) and i want to root it but my service info says Unlock Bootloader Allowed: No, but when i connect the phone to flashtool it says that its connected in fastboot, does that mean that i can flash a stock non carrier kernel on to my device, and will that allow me to unlock the bootloader??

lockedbootloader mean flashing not allowed it does not mean to disable fastboot detecting so the answer is no. and also flashing kernel won,t solve problem it is bootloader which is locked not kernel.

You can't install custom ROM with locked bootloader. Installing custom ROM no need root your phone but you must unlock bootloader and it's void your warranty.
I bought m2 from Croatian t-mobile and I can't unlock the bootloader.I can use this recovery:https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/development/d2303-philz-touch-recovery-6-t3047492
But I want to flash LinageOs 14.1, but @galaxyfreak says that it needs an unlocked bootloader.
I heard if you flash older firmware that it can change from no to yes.
Any recommendations?

The bootloader unlock allowed:no thing means that you'll never be able to use custom roms if they don't support locked bootloaders.
It can be unlocked, that is just nonsense. The phone is network locked since the bootloader cannot be unlocked. SIM unlock your phone and the bootloader will be able to be unlocked
Not work for me. My phone was network locked to telenor, and they give a code.
Now is sim unlocked for all networks, but still says -
Bootloader unlock allowed: No

Hi I want to flash a custom ROM on my Sony Xperia XA F3113 as the stock rom sucks but according to Sony's website my bootloader is locked and cannot be unlocked (secret menu says bootloader unlock allowed no) so am I out of luck or is there a way to flash a custom ROM with a locked bootloader ?
