Now if only I can get the OTA. I just can't get it. ATT was of no help.

Ok. Finally got the OTA. How long does this take to complete? Mine says "Working..." for a while now.
Oops. Did grant USB Debug Permission on phone. Worked like a charm. It does ask to update supersu and reboot.
Thanks so much for this easy root method!

Good morning boterkaaseneieren! Thanks for all your work around S4 :good:

Don't mess with the PIT files, there is currently no way to get those extra gigs yet. You'll just fail flashing, worse get bricked.

hi guys,
I am interested in rooting my Indian version of the G Pro 2 but I have a question. Using this tool, If I root my phone, will LG ever come to know that the phone has been rooted. Like in Samsung, you get yellow triangle and also your boot loader will increase count by 1 eery time you install a custom recovery or rom, does LG G Pro 2 also have something similar.
I am asking this is because if in future I need to claim warranty on my phone, I should be able to go back to stock with no sign of the phone being rooted ever.
Kindly help.
Look through the development forums for lg g pro 2. You'll find way to install stock giles and unroot the phone...should help uou the warranty situation.

New OTA B0C4

Just did an OTA update to B0C4, it updated 303 apps...no other info out there on it.
Curious how battery life is on this 'new' build.
Here's Verizon's PDF http://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/system_update/benefits-galaxy-s5-3-27-15.pdf Looks the same as the OA8 one except a different build number. Hopefully someone makes a rooted version similar to OA8 that we can use to upgrade too!
Can someone capture and post the update file for this OTA.
Edit: I captured the update.zip and will post it shortly.

I simply let the update install as is. I thought that I would loose root but I figured I could get it back after a dev built a new kernel ODIN file for OC4. It turned out that root did not go away.

Build no. G925PVPU2BOGA has started rolling out apparently to fix the Stagefright bug. Let's hope the current root works on this build too.

You need to flash stock Lollipop. I'm not positive, but the 5.1.1 tot file may be in tung's root thread

The root method will not work because the tot file is for Android 5.1 not 6.0. I am currently unsure if you can return to root Android 5.1 from Android 6.0 with tungkick root tot. Has anyone tried this to see if you can downgrade and root?
