Hello everyone .
Yesterday I reached the 5.1.1 upgrade for my Nexus 5. Of course gave accept. My phone is restarted and thereafter does not recognize the SIM card.
My card works in others phones.
I tried new card in my, but still not work.
Don´t know what to do , the rest is working properly .

i am looking here since 3 days to find a solution for my problem, but still not founded it. so, my problem is:
my i5801 (with flashed fw I5800XWJH2) doesnt recognize my sim card (which is french orange) card anymore. i tried to put into the phone an other sim card (which is german vodafone) and it works. while unlocking i lost my imei. it would be great when somebody could help me, because it start to be a bit frustrated for me.

no, i dont did it. few days ago it has well worked with my standard sim card but one day it has stopped to work.
Try to put your SIM into other phone. Maybe your SIM is crashed. If other SiM worked in your phone, it can be so. Sorry for my bad english.

thanks for the respond, but it has also not helped. i ve tried it with 3 different sim cards and the only one works. i dont understand it... any other idea there???

if u have lost ur IMEI no it is a problem at least in my country u wont get net work connection if ur phone does not have an IMEI if u have backed up ur efs then see in the development section their is a thread on how to get ur IMIE back

i've unlocked my samsung I997 on any sim card from "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176886" and finally managed to make a call from my sim(not AT&T) , but after 5-10 min, it give me the SIM card is removed.
i tried to reboot many times but it dosen't work, he give me the SIM card is removed(after 5-10 min).
if any one have a solution, please help me

I have MicroMax A100. Suddenly boot problem developed after unsuccessful installation of some games.
From Reflashing by above post able to boot device but could not detect sim card.

I tried all possible way i.e. remove battery & sim card as well as SDRAM for 10 mins. etc.
Nothing happens. Same SIM working well in other mobile.
When I google it I found many people having similar problem where after flashing SIM is not detecting. Is there any generic answer for this Generic Question.

Maybe you could reflash or do another rom or reset your whole device.

i would suggest you to try checking in other phones...(probably not a smartphone) i encountered the same problem after flashing my phone with the wrong ROM... somehow i got my SIM card running again.....
if you still face the problem... get your SIM card Replaced with a new SIM card and same number from your service provider. that way u can get your number activated:angel:
Hello guyz i have a sm-g920f galaxy s6 just bought 3 days ago second hand its been great i flashed the russian update from sammobile and flashed the custom kernel to root it i used it till today when i plugged it in my pc to transfer a movie and removed it suddenly it tells me "Sim card inserted.Restart" I restarted but it kept saying no sim card
now i tried different sim cards from different operators but still nothing flashed so many other firmwares and still nothing so guyz plzz help me if theres any solution to this problem i dont understand it if it is software or hardware :crying::crying:

could possible be a blocked IMEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reflash stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin to solve your problem.
I already did that and nothing it just keep saying No sim card

try checking csc via phone info.
Any fix to this?? I've just gotten the same problem on mine! Thought it might have reverted back to the region lock as I am now using a USA sim card and started off with a UK sim card. Just ordered a new UK Sim to see if inserting that one will fix the issue

I had this issue with my first Galaxy S6... I went into the three shop and checked my sim and that worked with another phone, but my phone would not accept any other SIM card. I was told to send to Samsung for repair, luckily I was in my 30 day amazon exchange period so I just sent back to supplier and bought a new one.
Same poblem here.. When i insert sim card, the phone restart and when enter in Android show message... "Error occurred while unlocking network... Network unlock code block".... Its a Japan Docomo network.. U think that can resolve it with a subsidy code? To unlock a sim?

This is what did the problem this sim problem appears days after doing this
1 flashing other rom model on different model like XEF on BTU...
2 updating android OTA failed
3 flashing with smart switch
Its not stolen its the g920f is the problem its sucks dude
If you dont have backup for efs folder and radio folder you need to fix it with octoplus box if you have warranty take it to samsung or if not visite repair place and ask for octoplus compatible with s6 but
This is what you get
1 Working sim
2 signal drops time to time mybe disconnected during calls am sure you get disconnected because i have
3 flashing stock you get stuck in bootloops
And if some one ask you about s6 the answer is dont say s6 its s sucks

hi reader. its been almost 1 month since i bought a second-hand Huawei Shotx ath-ul01. when i bought, it was on android 5.1.1, EMUI 3.1. and update was pending for android 6.0 . On first 5 to 6 tries it did not update and ended with error. and when it finally updated successfully it was unable to read both sim cards. and after rollback it even got worst . now when ever i insert a sim card it asks for PUK code and doesn't even accept the real PUK code for my SIM card. i have also tried changing SIM card but the problem is same wit every SIM. Please some one help me through this. i'll be very thank full.

Has the device been rooted ever before?
If you have not any better idea, try to perform a factory reset(wipe data) + wipe cache partition after a full backup. Good luck to you.

I have literally tried every single thing form factory reset to trying flashing other firmware, but all in vein. some people it might be country lock or something. i wish you could help me batter.
also im unable to unlock the boot loader but the huawei website is not working . :crying: plz help i dont want my phone to just end like this.

to what build number you Rollback?
build number right now is -- ATH-AL00C92B190 -- with this build i can use only second sim with 2G, and with ATH-UL01 i cant even use second sim.

now somhow i managed to install ath-ul01 but the problem still exist. now i think i just have to flash modem.img somehow, but i cant do that, my bootloader is unlocked but i cant perform any command related to MODEM. like FASTBOOT ERASE MODEM or FASTBOOT FLASH MODEM MODEM.img these commands wont work.
system related commands work like a charm.
