just a quick question. I'm currently on a TW (obviuosly) Custom ROM (latest XtreStoLite). Can I flash a corresponding Stock Rom over it? Just dont wont to wipe and reconfigure everything.

Hey there,
I'm looking to create a custom ROM, based on a stock ROM. The only additions to the custom ROM would be the addition of a few apps in the /system/app/ folder (so they couldn't easily be deleted).
After the custom ROM is pushed to the phone, will it be the ROM that is used when a Factory Data Reset is performed?
This is all for a demo phone, so I'd like to be able to reset it back to my custom ROM every morning.

I found This topicon how to get back to stock recovery. My question is wouldn't you have to be on stock rom and the stock hboot for the OTA to work? or the HTCinstaller dosen't car just as long as the stock recovery is still intact?
I dont see the point, but thats just me.
New update comes out =new custom rom (stock or not stock) on xda
just backup important data before flash. some roms dont require a wipe if u r coming from the same rom 1 version under.
check rom threads. IMO no need for OTA.

I have THL W200S and Iv'e flashed kitkat custom rom on it but I want to go back to stock.
I don't really understand how to flash it with flashtool.
Also, what is the best way to backup all the phone's files?

There is no way to performe this without a full wipe instead of fc the whole way ?
You should wipe after flashing anything. Period.
