Just downloaded kingroot app from their Official website and follow the steps given in their website
(turn off internet while installing the app because google will block your installation and ignore the warnings by the default antivirus on your phone)

I'm hoping too! I'm not a fan of MIUI but this v10 is so good! I've seen videos of it. The most i like is the screen recording it can record internal sounds without root access.

Why did you even think abt purchasing this awesome device in first place? Just to be cry baby! I am using the miui 9.5 build nougat ported by me and some of my friends but with such kind of nincompoop people I have decided that I won't release it on XDA.

I am not a developer but from what little I have picked up the A1 is constructed with two partitions A,B wich is different from the 5X, and that is, from what I understand, a major reason of what makes it extremely hard to port MIUI to the A1. If I, with my little knowledge has managed to pick up this information I would think hat those that have a genuine interest in MIUI would read whatever they could fins about the topic and posibly understand this.

I read it somewhere in the net and forum too !! But MIUI is also available to other Xiaomi phones , I wonder if all those Xiaomi had A/B partitions .
.
And for others , please dont misunderstand my queries as "crying for MiUI " , just thinking about the possibilities ?

Once again, I don't know a lot about this, but I THINK the A1 is the only Xiomi with the A,B partitions. Maybe the new phones coming has it, but I don't think the "old" ones (the ones before or the same time as the A1) has A,B.
I am fully prepared to be called wrong though...

Yes, it's possible, without Warranty or (in my case) no 4G Band, like 800 MHz/B20.

Thanks for explanation, I was just curious as I quite often see that certain models "aren't available in my country" but I've been buying phones from China quite some time and as long as You check 3G/4G/LTE bands You're ready to go (like https://willmyphonework.net/ ).
Price difference makes warranty question less relevant, at least from my point of view and this far (6-8 phones later) no HW issues what so ever (knock on wood!). :fingers-crossed:

Managed to install the gcam? was about to get the mi 6x but honestly I don't need a good camera at all, phones are being way too big lately. Therefore this should be enough for me needs.

I really prefer slow charging. The fast charge is not good for batteries.

I check every day to see if a new android stock rom exists.

2nd day with the phone 3gb 32gb global version, fell free to ask me.
First impression with the lastest global stable V9.6.19.0.OCGMIFD (MIUI9), random micro stuttering with most apps, miui ui fault? Battery from 100% at 7:00am to midnight 11:00pm 22%. Very moderate using, answering short phone calls, 30 min of youtube, about 2 hours of spotify, brief chats. Tiny fonts overall, like the xiami mi 5. Time to get a better part time job for the pocophone? Maybe..

i've recently "bricked" the phone by trying to update it and accidentally rebooted it in process. There is a bootloop now and message 'system has been destroyed' MiFlashPro can see my phone and even start to flash, but not flashing (just text 'verifying complete' which stays there after checking rom and ring is spinning, and nothing happens) Fastboot with MiFlash doesn't work because it's can't find flash_all.bat (which i can't find too in archives with drivers named Platform-tools (adb/fastboot) (there were this files earlier) I'm really stuck with this ... and don't know what to do

Hey everyone,
so one of my friends was trying to figure out how to set a custom animation on Android 11. The apps which were avaiable on the playstore didnt work anymore starting from android 10, so we decided to create our own app. (Also sorry, this is my first post here ^^)
Requirements:
- Have your smartphone rooted with Magisk
To use the app pick one of the 200+ animations (more to be added, and eventually a custom upload feature coming too...) and install it like any other module. Thats it!

Thanks, but it did not work on Mi A3 Android 11. The modules install correctly, but the default bootanimation is always there when restarting.
By the way, it would be good to have an option to backup the original bootanimation.

In theory, as long as Magisk runs on your phone, it should work. Since Im a student, i dont have that many devices to test (just a new One Plus) and therefore I cant assure it.
There are probably some issues still hidden and getting to know them is the most important step to fix them, so testing it on various devices would do us a great job ^^

How to install miui vietsub ?
-Almost all models of xiaomi are supported
-Toolbox will do everything automatically, all you need to do is simply download the toolbox and put the device in fastboost mode then connect
