Hi All,
So I've had a fair amount of free time on my hands, and I got incredibly bored... Decided to create something new.
Now, I realise this idea has been done before, but I wanna have a go, and I'm looking for people to help me do just that.
I need ROM developers who are happy to have their ROM publicized on my new website, http://ROMFeedr.es.vc. It's my new little CMS-like web system that allows for me to make blog-style posts about anything and everything with the ability to post HTML code in the articles, too. It should be really cool, because I don't host flash-based ads on my site, I don't ask for donations or anything, I don't hassle my users - I give them 100% direct and free (as in "free beer") access to my website so they can get their hands on the best development content in town. If this sounds like your kind of gig, let me know!
Do you know how to make a good ROM? Hit us up!
I am primarily looking for developers, BUT: I'm looking for Social Network Artists - people who run many social media accounts that are REPUTABLY CLEAN, ORGANIZED AND UP-TO-DATE - I want something new and catchy-looking that new users and old users alike are going to come back to - if you know how to rally a crowd on social media, I need you to shake people's cages (NOT LITERALLY) about getting onto and sharing my site!
Ultimately, if no-one here likes the site, then I'll probably take it down - but I don't want to do that - this website is my contribution to the XDA community!
That URL is ROMFeedr.es.vc - no sign-ups, no credit cards, no bull**** - just plain old-fashioned sharing, the way it's meant to be done!

Sounds good. Will it be free of charge (for us downloaders and/or uploaders) ?
For downloaders and uploaders
killer22, I can't help but wonder: what's in it for you? Why do the financial investment? You're hoping on add revenue or something?
Don't get me wrong I'd like the idea. It would be nice to have one day a system similar to the linux repositories.

XDA is visited by thousands of developers who offer their work to the community for the sake of pushing development forward. Most of these developers are self-taught. They learned by doing, and they learned by reading. There are many users on XDA who want to get into development but don’t know where to get started. On XDA, you can find guides, tutorials, and tools that go a long way in imparting the knowledge to start developing. But, these pieces are often scattered around, making them difficult to find. So we wanted to do something about it and make it a lot easier for aspiring developers to learn.
Launching soon, XDA-University.com will be a place to learn Android development, whether that’s learning how to root a phone, to embarking on more complex endeavors like building Android from source. XDA-U will be a crowd-sourced initiative that aims to be an always-growing, always-improving part of the Android community. There will even be a book, available as a free downloadable PDF, for those that want to really immerse themselves in the craft.
Right now, you can sign up on XDA-University.com, and we’ll send you an email when the site gets closer to launch.

E-ink Display Phone

Hello, i've created a Concept from my newly formed company called edgeware. It's a phone offers a month battery life with an E-ink Display. You're able to do everything that you're smartphone can do. With enough help and support, we could get this device to market and show the world that E-ink is the best way to go for optimizing our battery life. With support to create an vast ECO system and an amazing app selection such as the favourites. Facebook, twitter, Gmail and many other services that we just can't live without on our smartphones. Whilst we are waiting for those apps to be made, me and the rest of the team at edgeware have created the best operating sytem and the best webkit, running with Javascript, HTML5, flash and many more. This is utterly the best webkit that anybody has made for any platform.

This is a social voting app where our users can create polls (making them publico or private) and invite their friends in a easy way.
Haven’t you spent literally hours discussing with your friends via whatsapp something , like where to go for lunch, which movie to see or in which nightclub go to party?
Good, but is this App really useful?
Of course, to start you can use it to do private polls with your friends to decide any kind of thing in just a few steps.
You can explore trending topics and the opinión of the people around you, or simply use it to do some market research.
The power of voting is in your hands

I opened it on a phone so I will comment only on the mobile interface. Probably all points would be the same for the desktop version as well.
1. Drop Times New Roman font from the links. You look like a cheap Chinese package. Try using only two different fonts throughout the website. At the moment you have 3-4.
2. Your logo is retro, in a bad way. That fort is suitable more to a Charleston dance school than an IT website.
3. With your own domain why not have a personalised email as well. [email protected] is really unprofessional.
4. The name irresistibly reminds me of the GSMarena. Why do you think you will survive in the shadow of that website and at least 3 others that offer exactly the same thing/product? What makes you different?
5. Those news that I've opened, it was fun reading them.
