I just wanted a Custom recovery CWM or TWRP for Samsung galaxy j500F
I searched a lot but couldn't find it!!
Sorry for any mistakes..

Which app or method did you use for rooting ?
Any working root method for our Samsung Galaxy J5?
I haven't rooted it yet..
I wanted a Custom recovery to backup my rom first..
But if you want to root.. try Towelroot app, someone suggested me this app.

why dont you try look for an app in the play store sim card manager lte version coz I think lte provides by network .In some region you can change the sim card for an lte version or you can ask it in your network provider.I hope that might help

the dual sim card in the play store got some lte option i think it was a paid verion i cant hardly remember

Beside this, when I look on the Autoroot-Chainfire website the root-files for the SM-E500H are only for Android 4.4.4! That will not work on Andorid 5.1.1!

I'd tried it. I did not work.
Now my Knox is tripped.
UPDATE: root-files for the SM-E500H works on SM-J500FXXU1A0H1.
Now I'm rooted.

You asked a yes or no question. With that setup, you simply can't root without tripping knox - the only root method available to the g920p on 5.1.1 trips knox (and no you can't downgrade to 5.0.2 either). Sorry.

That's the good news - it's super easy, and takes just a few minutes.
step 1 - odin one of the kernels from this thread.
And that's it. You're now rooted. Most people go with the one labeled 920p (UniKernel-v6-0001-920P-080215.tar) - its a port of the unikernel, which gets rid of the lags and stutters that crop up on the phone.
You can then odin this version of TWRP, which will allow you to flash other zips in recovery. I think you can even odin this first if you want, then flash the kernel in recovery like any other zip.
check out this thread for more cool stuff to do once rooted. We even have a working version of xposed now.
edit - make sure you have OEM Unlocking enabled in Developer Options before flashing the kernel

I have issue with my s7 edge, i have flashed it with Odin and also flashed with smart switch but every time when all the process goes though i get this error at the end { dm-verity verification failed need to check DRK FIRST on GALAXY S7 edge } and the phone wouldn't boot up, and when i'm trying to root the phone i get this error { custom binary recovery blocked by frp lock } any salutation TO UNLOCK please ???

Dang, yea I've been searching everywhere everyday since I got mine. Thanks for the stock Rom though that came in handy. I almost lost my original recovery trying to flash a different J3 twrp
try using srsroot i found a post on the official twitter of srsroot and it says this device is supported. i haven't tried it yet. also thanks nightflow for uploading the rom for the phone it will be useful if i accidentally brick it.
srsroot is a failure. turns out that root method is a fake.
I don't trust one-click-roots either way. maybe in a couple more months...

i dont know why you are trying to attempt to flash a stock rom that isnt supporting your (Boost mobile) j3 when this is a MetroPCS only

sorry it took so long to reply, you need to use all of them except home_csc. this only works on the j3 prime for metropcs

i swear every time i try to download the file it gets close to finishing and quits with a minute left which is corrupted and stuff. my internet is fine but this is a problem with mediafire. Try uploading this file to a google drive and making the link public.
