Changed it on my own phone worked perfectly. make sure you did every details correct. Can not offer other suggestions. Sorry.

I am using energy rom 6.5 on my sprint diamond . I would like to set my default in call volume to the max level.
currently , I have to adjust the volume manually during every phone call .

You need to change your AudioPara settings, look in your registery for: HKLM\Drivers\BuildIn\WaveDev
AcousticFile:
\windows\AudioPara3_Max.csv
under HKLM\Drivers\BuildIn\WaveDev
there is no:
AcousticFile:\windows\AudioPara3_Max.csv
is this something I need to create ?

yes create that string and soft reset.

Yes, the AudioPara files are Device spefic and they are as well different on GSM and CDMA. I suggest you look in the Diament section for the right driver files.

You will have the signature option available somewhere between 8 and 15 posts.
I think the flag will appear when you enter your home country in your user profile.

It will take a time to update over server. If still you are facing the same then can reach to Admin.

I have my home country (Italy) in my profile but I don't see the country flag.

I don't know how to tell but if I open this page in an incognito browser window I see exactly the page with the same layout so I suppose I'm using the default theme. At the left of the messages written by me this is what I see (image is attached)

After upgrade to the 15.3.A.1.14 I cannot reset or change wifi tether setting like Network SSID and password, when I typed any words save button become dark and invalid.. Please can anybody help me to solve this problem?

You need a Password of atleast 8 characters....yours is too short and hence you cannot set it!

Im in trouble and need valuable help from you all. Actually in my Sony Xperia L I cannot select (None with 2 other) in security phone lock options. I want to disable it but cannot make a selection. You might have installed a CA certificate! Go To Settings>Security>Trusted Credentials> Click On user tab and remove any CA certificate if present!:highfive:
Report Back if the problem is fixed!

Thanks for responding anyway.... Yeah I used VPN application before and vpnbook CA was there in user as you've said but I already deleted it as one person told me to do. But even after that also these options are not available...

I didn't find any option to clear it.. and which one should I disable it I have no idea.. but I already deleted one and only Certificate from (user) credential....

Okay....but if I removed those credantials I think whole Certificates will be deleted. Is it save to delete those system Credantials.???? What about reset factory. Will it solve the problem.???

hi i am using htc one m8 verizon in india. When i use roms which are based on verizon htc one m8 like RKDN i have this non verizon sim icon with ? on my status bar which is very annyoing tried all tips and tricks mentioned to remove verizon setup app and clear cache and data but nothing has worked so far . Want help or a tweak so that this irritating icon can dissapper . when i use non verizon roms or roms which are for htc one m8 international this icon does not appear. please help.

I have the same problem...
Work requires a stock rom, and gave me a verizon m8 - but I need t-mobile.
Plugged in a t-mobile card - everything works but it displays an annoying foreign sim icon... just wondering if anyone has figured out how to hide that thing?

Check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594804 Edit the sku_id and put in the appropriate one for you carrier, that SHOULD get rid of the non-verizon sim icon.

I am both S Off and rooted and was using root explorer to set the permissions to r/w, but it still would not allow me to save the file.

make a flashable.zip to flash in custom recovery.
use my template here.

either that or pull your ACC/default.xml, let me know your SKU_ID and I'll make the .zip for you.
or if you are on stock ROM I can just pull the default.xml from there, and I think your SKU_ID would be 33?

I'm not entirely sure which one to use, I am located in the Cayman Islands, Caribbean, so I was just going to use 0 (HTC Generic). Will that work?

I was going to try 0 for both Region 0 is worldwide and sku_id 0 is HTC_Generic, hopefully it will work. Thanks for your help!

So the two 0's seemed to work fine, I didn't use a flashable zip in the end I found another way around. I copied the file to my desktop, edited it, renamed the original and then pasted in my new file worked fine.
So glad to be rid of the unknown sim popup and icon.

However after doing this I've noticed that the bubble counter on the stock messaging app for the new messages was not showing. Additionally, the tabs inside the messaging app such as "All messages", "SMS/MMS", "Voice Mail" are messed up. Have you encounter this issue after changing the region and sku_id of your HTC M8?
