I have got one unlocked SR i9505 from ''ebay.in'' in place of i9500 which i originally ordered (ap: i9505xxugne5, cp: i9505xxugne5, csc: i9505ojvfne1) and having some UAE Trai ID: 0016333/08. The phone is working OK but battery is draining very fast even if I am not using any application. When I am trying to use OTA mode(WANAM Exposed is faking my device Status as official) to upgrade, it is showing that latest update is already installed.
Sir, my question is that if I am upgrading my phone using ibtimes guide to ''Android 5.1.1 Lollipop via Resurrection Remix ROM'' or any other lollipop version via ODIN, what will be implication on network issue? Presently I am using INDIA's national career BSNL SIM, after upgrade, will I able to use any SIM of Indian operator in INDIA ?

hi, i hav a samsung s4 model no. SGH-I337 its current android version is 4.2.2 its not an indian model it has AT&T symbol on it but i think its unlocked my indian sim is working in it. i wnt my cell to be updated to 4.4.2 kitkat. i even tried to root but i was unable to do so. plz help me.

i have gt i9500. 2 days back i found out the leaked official firmware for gt i9500 but i was for china " trueandroid.com/install-i9500zcujoa3-android-5-0-1-lollipop-firmware-galaxy-s4-gt-i9500/ " . I updated it via odin. it works fine but only issue is it has lot of chinese apps and telecom even maps. The more important part is that it eats a lot of battery and RAM, got battery life of 3hr27min only. It's laggy and quite slow now as before it looked smooth. i would like to downgrade to 4.3 or 4.4.2 or even if 5.0.1( indian) firmware is available i would like to how to do it.
as i am beginner i would like to have step by step guidance .

I have purchased Samsung Galaxy A5(SM-A500F) from Saudi and I used Local sim to unlock the Region Lock. I am using this Mobile in India.
Now I Planned to flash Lollipop on A5 which samsung is released for UK.
I need your help to clarify below details.
Can I flash the Lollipop Stok Firmware which is released for UK?
Will I losse the Region Unlock by flasing new Lolliop firmware?.

You will brick your phone. Search for firmware specifically for G920w8.
Only install that firmware which is designed for your model otherwise you will end up bricking your phone.

Hi guys. I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 (6) [SM-J510F/DS] PLpurchased from Kuwait. It's an UAE version. I brought it for use in India on Reliance Jio 4g network. Unfortunately the device doesn't support VoLTE despite having the Qualcomm chipset which I guess is same aboard the Indian J5 (2016) models. Samsung UAE customer support informed my phone doesn't have VoLTE. Is there anyway I can make it work? Like installing an Indian firmware 'coz my phone is running stock Rom and firmware . I checked for any OTA updates and none was available. I am in a dilemma now coz I came back from a Lumia to Android and I am stuck with just 4g coz of some manufacturer policy. Please help guys.
