Hey guys, i will try to post as short as possible.
First of all sorry for my bad English & i have very litle time to begin to read every step by step things and search forums etc ...
I'm not a total noob in "how to's" , i once rooted and installed customs rom on my mini 2 so i know a litle bit what i have to do.
Yesterday i bought a mini 3 GT-I8200N but the RAM is horrible if you ask me, i launched facebook & messenger and it was almost on 100% RAM usage .... WTF ... lol
So here is what i would want if somebody could point me in the right directions ... :
I got a micro SD 16 GB class 10 and the phone (i already rooted it) , what i want is :
1) A good stable custom ROM (give me links if you can thx) , it don't have to be a ROM with all sort of gadgets i will never use anyway BUT , preferable one that does not suck away to many RAM and good for battery life.
2) A new Kernel? i'm not sure if it's included in the ROM but i think i need it for using RAM trough my SD. (link if possible)
3) any recovery tools i may need & super user.
I got about 900 Mb RAM now and i'm not happy.
i would partition my 16 GB SD in 3 :
Part 1 : 4GB RAM
Part 2 : 2 GB Apps (i don't need many apps)
Part 3 : 10 GB Storage
i forgot what i need and what format i need to use for this.
i think Link2SD but what formats again ?
Thanks.

CM 09 Build 15 starts showing Low memory issue as soon as the memory consumption nears 225 MB of ROM, when there is about 1.6 GB of Memory still left in the phone. SGS I9000 has 2 GB of ROM.
PS: I did not have permission (this is my first post in XDA ) to write on the development thread so posting here.
Are you sure that it's not system RAM that's running low?
You should repost this over in one of the SGS question forums.
Thanks @cashmundy. I have created a new thread in the Samsung General forum.

Hi all,
I have a used HTC One S and I think that there are 3 different ROMs. There is only 2GB of free space left. When I got it there was an Orange ICS ROM but I don't think that was the original software as I found a zip file for the ROM on the sd card. I'm on O2 so I have installed a skanky cm10 JB ROM but didn't realize that there is not much free space as the original ROM had to use approx 5GB, then the Orange ICS another 5GB and approx 5GB left for the JB and only 2GB is usable for data at the moment. I would like to get rid of the JB and Orange ICS. Could anyone tell me how to remove/erase/uninstall these 2 ROMs, please? Is there any factory reset option? Thank a lot, pepe999
There's a whole forum for your device, with many sub-fora. Search and ask there.
Question, addressed & answered. Thank you and thread closed
Hi, im kinda new here on xda, so go easy on me.....
I bought a Denver Tablet TAD 97052
9.7'' (24cm) tablet with 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
1GB of DDR RAM memory
8GB memory (expandable)
Android 4.0
I was wondering if there is a way to root it and if there is any custom rom available for it.
Ive searched the whole forum and didnt find anything related...
Best regards..
I also have this tablet and found that there is a lack of information regarding CWM installation and Roms (official and custom ones).
I read on another forum that someone managed to install a cyanogenmod on it...

I mean the best ROM for ordinary use. and the ROM can support Arabic or Persian language support for messages
Stock
This Pico just have 512MB ROM and left about 100 for you, if you want more space just partition SD card as internal memory, but you won't be able to remove SD card or you will lose data.
and Rom... I totally forget which support your language, but I know there is a stock Arabic.
Sent from HTC One max
use Walkman Sense Build 5 it fits into NAND and Smooth to.but if u want to increase internal memory u have to install it on u r sdcard.
CM11
Try CM11 by galaxyfreak.. it is superb

cm9 is the best I've ever come across.

As this is effectively another best ROM thread, I'm closing this one before it goes any further.
We don't allow these kinds of threads because they can easily can arguments between users of different ROMs and it can quickly get out of hand.
If you want to know which ROM is the most stable, the best way to find out is to test them out by yourself. That way you'll know exactly how stable the ROM is considering someone else's opinion on "stable" could be different to yours.
We're also not here to spoonfeed members the answers. Obviously we don't mind people asking questions but the answer to this question could/should easily be found out by you testing them

Hello. I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum I wasn't sure where else to put it. What would you say is the best custom ROM for the GT-i9195? I got the phone only a few days ago, a lot of bloatwere on there but I wasn't too fussed until today Samsung decided to automatically install SEVERAL more apps on my phone without even asking me which I can not uninstall and they take up about 1 to 2 GB of my internal storage which is annoying since there is only 5GB of usable internal storage. I rooted my phone with the official firmware yesterday. If possible I would like to keep the same UI, with the same notifications etc but just without all of those unwanted apps.
EDIT: Not sure if you need it but apparently I needed a specific root for my baseband which is i9195XXUCNK1

You should check the list of ROMs for your device here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini#romList.
And here is the [INDEX]Galaxy S4 Mini all variants ROM's | Kernel's | MOD's | Recovery I Tools thread.
That's also the best place to discuss about the best ROM ... or at least get different opinions about the available custom ROMs.
In the end, it'Äs your decision ... depending on your special needs. And only you can determine what's the best ROM for you.
