hello xda! I was doing a factory restore on the grand x when it hanged, waited a good 30 minutes before I tried a hard reset. That didn't work so i just took out the battery. When I turned it on, it would show the logo but then the screen will turn black and the led charge indicator would just light up red. It won't load android recovery system via the volume key + power up method but I am able to put the phone on FTM mode. Is there a way to unbrick the phone through FTM mode?

Just took the Lollipop OTA update from stock 4.4.2. Upon completion my phone rebooted and is stuck on the LG boot logo. I tried entering download mode (holding volume up button and plugging phone into computer) but my phone doesn't enter it. Attempting to power off the phone doesn't work either, since the phone just powers off for a second and turns back on to the boot logo. I tried factory reset (power + volume down) and after proceeding with the reset the phone is still stuck on boot logo. What should I do?

You can power off if you hold power button longer. wait till logo appears, and still hold, till it gone away second time, and hold even a little longer.
Turns off but still stuck at logo when turned on

After i flashed the Lollipop firmware, it looked like the phone got stuck with LG logo but i gave it good 5 to 6 minutes and all was fine. The phone just needed to breathe a little.
hey friends plz help me.
my nexus 5 was facing a strange problem. when ever i try to switch on/ off screen using power button then the device vibrates and camera starts and cell restarts.
i thought it would be a small bug and i did a factory reset but then i still faced the same problem.
after reading on threats i tried to clear cache and the moment i did it from the bootloader by cell got stuck in boot loop.
usb debugging is not enabled as i did a factory reset and now from last 3 days it is stuck in boot loop.
i also tried to open recovery mode but it does not start. i get a android lying on his back with a red exclamatory mark and then again the device restarts into boot loop
plz help me friends as i have only this cell to use and i can not contact anyone because it is not working.
Possible power button problem?
You were almost in recovery: press the Power button to select Recovery Mode.
– after that you will see an Android robot tilted and showing a red warning sign. Now, you need to press and hold POWER, and then press the Volume Up button once.
It definitely could be a power button issue. I would try factory reset from recovery since it wouldn't make things worse.

I would like to reset my S7 to factory in recovery mode.
However, after I pressed Volume Up, Home and Power buttons and wait for 10 seconds, an android robot was flash for 1 second only. After that, the screen turn off, a red light close to the camera, flash keep light up. I cannot boot up S7 again and no response when I connect it to PC.
What happen? Any solution?
Thanks

Well, I've got your same problem years ago. You should press Home+Power+Vol Up/Down when in Charge and wait to display the charging status.
After that, you could connect it and flash via Odin.
I've always format my Internal SD with Recovery (TWRP) once every two months. :good:

No response for my S7, I cannot boot it to recovery mode nor download mode.
After waiting for 3 hours, the "RED" light gone (may be no battery) . It will light up again when I charge it.
There's no solution, and the easy step is to send it to a Samsung Centre. Don't try any hardmod operation
Hi,
After a wrong(?) update of stock ROM, the phone stuck at logo. I can switch if off, but when try switch on into recovery (Vol- + On) LED blinks and symbol of empty battery shows on the screen.
When I attach a charger, after some time the phones start up ... then hangs on the logo.
Any idea how to reset/update/recover?......
Wojtek
Anybody? Help...
Try this if you have unlocked bootloader and frp unlock
1. First connect it charger and leave it for 30 min
2. Now connect phone to pc and long press power button until screen shuts off. Quickly hold vol- button. Now you will be in fastboot.
3. Flash appropriate twrp recovery in fastboot.
4. Now use huru updater method for firmware flash. (search in google)
But if none of this thing works and if you are still in warranty then take it to customer care
I was trying to restore by custom rom Pixel 2 to stock to give to my father, I downloaded the latest restore pack from google and flash it with flashall.bat, it seemed to be flashing OK but then showed an error at the end, so i tired to reboot and try again but after rebooting it now won't show anything on the screen.
Now the phone screen is black, if I told the power button for approx 30seconds it vibrates and quickly flashes something on the screen, but I can't get into the bootloader and my laptop doesn't see it as a fastboot device.
I let it power down overnight and could get into the charging screen, but after leaving it to charge for a while it still won't go to bootloader mode when i turn it on with power down held down.
Did I brick it? any help much appreciated!
