[Completed] How do I repair an imei? please help? Tools, hardware/software required? - XDA Assist

I am a repair shop looking to add IMEI repairs to my services. I was wondering if you guys would be so kind and provide software/hardware that I would need to purchase to get this done. Also any tutorials would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist IMEI cannot be repaired, there is no such tool and its illegal in many countries. If IMEI is lost the only way is to send the device back to Official Service Center of that Manufacturer and they will fix it.
Good Luck!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Sorry to hear about your trouble but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the T-Mobile LG G4 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4 which would be a good starting place. If your dealer can't or won't help, I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. Note that since T-Mobile devices are generally fully unlocked, you might simply need to factory reset your phone (an option typically under the "Backup and Reset" settings)" and enter your own information.
Good luck!

[Completed] Black listed imei repaired Sm-g920t running lolipop 5.0.2

Hi I recently bought a sm-g920t running lollipop 5.0.2 that had a black listed imei
That was repaired. My question is can I update to lollipop 5.1.1 via Odin without losing the repair that was made to the blacklisted IMEI Or without encountering any other problems because of the blacklisted IMEI that was repaired.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. In many cases, a "blacklisted" IMEI is the result of a dispute between the user and a specific carrier (T-Mobile?) and has no bearing over the ability to use the device with another carrier or to install software from a manufacturer or a different carrier but it depends on who blacklisted it for what reason. I'm not sure what "repair" you are referring to, but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

[Completed] Cubot x10 ----- lost IMEI ----- is it recoverable need help please!!

Hi,
I see you found a dedicated thread for your device and asked for help there, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=64144532#post64144532
That's good! As XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support, I'll close this thread.
Also, note that talk of "writing" imei numbers is not permitted on XDA, as its illegal in most areas. Can talk about restoring imei, but not writing it. :good:
Good luck!

Hello,
No we don't know neither support any such firms/companies.
You can contact your OEM and ship your device to the nearest service centre, they may perform OS upgrades for you.
Please register for XDA account to post and reply in the forum.
