I don't know if I am aloud to ask or if it can be answered, but times got rough my girl friend and I split up and could not afford the full phone bill of 214$ a month, so I had to go to boost. Is there any way to flash my gs5 to boost? I have googled upon googled, and all the youtube videos and what not try to get you to pay some one else to do it for you. I'd just like a tutorial or some sort of general help in the right direction, but I don't know if it is even possible to flash because I stopped paying bill 3 or 4 months ago. I think my imem or esn or what ever is bad or w.e lol. Sorry any help appreciated.

Well I figured now that I have a lot of time off coming up thanks to disabilities, figured I would register, join the family and help out where I can, and continue to learn.. now with that aside...lol
I have a pretty big problem, I have a Telus brand htc tp2 (T7379) and its getting costly, I'm at the end of my leash, and it still presists.
Problem 1 is that almost since day one I wanted to unlock the sim for travelling abroad , and have done 3 times already, first time cost $115 from telus ( at that time, my options were limited). Second time cost $78 through telus after sending it back in for repair (should have been free if you ask me). Third time was the same deal, but cost me the same $78..
Just 2 days ago, I tried to unlock it again from one of those online sim unlock sights for $45 but I was ripped off, the provided me with a sim unlock code that wasn't close to correct, and when comfronted they told me there no way it didn't work and that I was just trying to pull something, but here I sit $45 lighter in the pocket, and a phone that's gonna be costing me a lot in the upcoming days in roaming charges if I cant figure out something and quick...
This is only one of the 2 problems I have, but I am pretty sure that a hard spl and unlock will fix that, after reading up on my options. I'm gonna do that tomorrow and hope it fixes 2 underlying firmware issues I have been having, and if it doesn't fix it I will be on here early in the morning possible looking for help..
I am leaving late tuesday night for 2 weeks of medical treatments in Houston Texas. And the last time I was there and roaming it cost me over $4000. And I can not do that again, as money is tight now to begin with

Ok I fixed one issue, it doesn't seem as slow anymore, but now it wont charge from the charger only the pc.. this all started after a power outage while I was tethered, since then will not charge from wall... just fonna have to take a laptop with me....
I'm still in need of help though for unlocking my phone, I just got off the phone with Telus and been given the run arround for the last 3 hours. Them saying they don't have the ability to do so, cause they don't have them, but just over a year ago, I got it done by them...
Someone please help me, I cant afford medical bills and expences as well as roaming charges

Hey everyone, as some of you might know, i have been trying to get an android phone for quite some time now. After having followed many device, i have been trying to get the Infuse since it was released. A friend of mine will be in NY tomorrow for a couple days and I am trying to have my cousin pick up the phone for me to give to my friend. He said there is an ATT by his work on 34th. I know that's not much info, but by anychance are any of you fmiliar with that location? My brother tried to get it for me in Boston and they kept telling him that they would not sell it to him without a contract. I am trying to avoid that bs this time around... SHould my cousin mention that I live out of the country and see if they are more willing? Anyways, any thoughts and or opinions are greatly appreciated. Hope this works out for me this time around.

Well my day went from great to sh*t in just a few minutes... I get a msg that my cousin is on his way to get me the Infuse at an ATT in NY so that he can give it to my buddy who is coming back to the DR tomorrow. Then i get the msg that they would not sell it to him off-contract... This keeps happening everytime i finally have someone in the US that can get the phone. Losing all hope...
Best Buy. There is a 24 hour one somewhere in the 30's in Manhattan.

i asked a guy at the att store if we could buy phones off contract just the phoen no contract he said yes.
note! in order for a att store to sell a phone of contract it has to be a corporate store.

Transformer: Thats weird cause my cousin said that it was a corporate store and the people at the store said he might have better luck at one of the small non corporate stores... I just wish i was the one that could do take care of it and i didn't have to have my friends and family jumping around and being given responses and answers that are mixed.
hmm. either way. it is a att product and you are paying full price for it. why not hit up att 1 800 number thur skype and see what you can get done.
maybe have your cousin wait there while your on the phone and have one of the managers from central call in to the store to authorise the sale.
I might just have to do something like that... Wish it were as easy as just purchasing, but hey, i guess good things don't come easy? I need to get hyped up again on this phone, cause this bs is seriously putting a damper on things...lol.

I have an LG optimus L9, T-Mobile is my carrier and I have the Jump plan offered by them. Im in need of a phone (who isnt now a days) So it looks like I have a couple options...call them...tell them I lost the phone see what happens from there. Or tell them there was a hardware error (Both of these options are covered by the Jump plan) I dont know if they check to see if the phone has been rooted if I sent it in because that would probably void everything. Or I could try and upgrade phones to a different one. The main thing is I was making payments on this phone and don't know what to do with that. I only want to be paying one phone off. Thank you very much for reading through all this, if you have any suggestions on what to do please let me know!

Thought about getting it repaired by a technician? Just google for it. If you give it to your carrier they'll mind you or someone have modified it. I really can't advice you telling 'em you lost it, cause that was criminal acting i suppose.

I use too have tilt 1 and tilt 2 my tilt 1 was t-mobile and I had att&t could not send picture messages. but when i joined your site and changed roms all my problems was fix. I have had a iphone5 for around 6 months, i did buy it used. anyways it stopped working today, i called t-mobile and they said it's been blocked for none payment of the owner who had it before. I been using the phone for 6 months without any problems and I am up to date on payment. but they said it was the owner before me, i said why did it take you 6 months to tell me this, all they said was sorry.my question is can i put another rom on my phone and will it open it like it did on my tilt. Please forgive me If I post this in the wrong place. Thanks in advance

Sounds like your phone was reported stolen by the previous owner and blacklisted on the network. You cannot install different roms on it like you can for Android. The best thing you could probably do know (unless you know the old owner and can get your money back) is to list it on eBay as "Bad ESN" and hope you can recoup your costs. There are probably ways to get around the bad ESN but that is not something you will find here.

I think that coolloser is correct and that T-mobile reported the phone stolen when the previous owner stopped paying T-mobile. Your only real recourse is to try and fix the issue with the previous owner or maybe T-mobile. Finally, changing the ESN of your phone to get around blacklisted numbers is illegal in most places and so is providing help for some one to do it. So please be really careful about asking about changing your ESN and please don't do it on xda.

anyway in short im not going to use the landline EVER AGAIN!
im going to get a pay as you go 3sim (321 its called)
but i need a mobile phone and have been told to get a moto g 4g version
BUT i really want a samsung s5 clone but dnt know where to buy one
i dnt want to get ripped off,i dnt have the money for a real s5, but im wanting to buy the best s5 clone their is going if poss?
any help please , or should i just get a moto g
also ive NEVER had a smartphone in my life so where could i learn about how to use them and what can be done with them etc
also do they need any security installing on them? as on my laptop i use avast and malwarebytes
