Hi
I currently own an Aukey 10,000 mAh Portable Battery with Qualcomm Quick Charging 2.0 up to 12V. The charger its self is capable of being quick charged and it is also capable of giving quick charge.
It is a heavy power bank with a rounded metal design.
Anyone have you found any better....

I like to buy this power bank but its price in my country is doubled because of shipping

Try find a cheaper price on eBay or look on your countries Amazon site.
The Aukey is honestly the best one I have found. It does support QuickCharge 2.0 (both in and out) and even after fully charging my S6 has all 4 lights lit. It does take a long time to recharge on its own but that's not an issue for me - I can put it on a Samsung quick charger overnight then carry it all day.
Can't beat the price, either.
Best portable charger/power bank for S6
Yes, the Flux universal portable charger that I am using has given me the best results to charge my Galaxy S6 when compared to the others that I used previously.

i myself use a hoco wireless powerbank which i bought at aliexpress, it is 8000mah so it is big enough for my phone and my tablet. it has two ports so as for the s6 or any wireless charging enabled phone it means that you can charge 3 devices at the same time.

I use the Asus ZenPower 10050 mAh and it's perfect. Comes with it's own short microUSB cable and it charges at 10W. Plus it's 20 bucks or so. Probably one of the best budget choices around.
trying to find reliable power bank too. I have tried xiaomi mi bank 10000 for few weeks but it's not good(
is it possible to buy the power bank directly from samsung official store?

Hi there , i recommend you power bank from Samsung with capacity at 8400mah
Maybe its funny maybe not but ive got it since ~3 days so funny that i recommend that but for me its not big , its slim , it can charge my s6 fully 3 times so its great , one disadventage is Li-On accumulators inside it , i prefer li-po that have no charging memory
Xiaomi is cheap and reliable when you buy the right model.
Here in South Korea, the 10000mAh fast charge compatible one costs like $15..

I am planing to buy an external battery. I will be happy to obtain one full charge for my Nexus 4. In fact, I only get without charge by the end of the day, when going back home, but since I have 1h by metro, it would be nice to be able to use my phone there. But since I am buying, I would like to have as much as I can (and 1 full charge seems reasonable to me).
I am looking these two:
First:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-BATTERI..._Batteries&hash=item20ce1e7c77#ht_3806wt_1346
Pros: it is only 8,69 €
Con: It is 2600 mAh (barely over the Nexus 4 battery, so I am not sure whether it will fully charge my phone or not)
Second:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-BATTERI..._Batteries&hash=item564ff32d35#ht_4794wt_1346
Pros: it is 5000 mAh, so it should do the job
Con: costs the double 17 € (not expensive though).
(there are other colours, I just liked the greens ones)
So, any suggestions? Have you seen other usb batteries with similar prices/charges?
I couldn't find a thread detailing the most convenient portable usb battery chargers, so we could start it here (or please, post the link to the respective thread)
Have you check DX.COM? They also have a lot to choose from with different charges. If you don't mind the wait, might be another option. I bought my MOMAX Portable 5600mAh Li-ion External Battery w/ LED Flashlight from them(cost is US $41.20) Not sure about the shipping to Europe, but to Canada is free)
Thanks! The shipment is free to France also, and they have similar products to those I saw in ebay (which comes from Hong Kong, so it won't be any faster).
I think I will go for this one Multi-Functional Portable External 5200mAh Battery for iPhone 4 / 4S / Samsung - Black, which is only 11,22 € and one good review.

I don't think you will go wrong with that. Even if it's just 4400mAh or so, it is still 4x the charges of N4. I just received my N4 yesterday, so couldn't tell you how many time it will charge with Momax. The reason I go for that specific one is due to they use Samsung battery(You can see their box have a sticker saying "Cell made by Samsung')
Thanks again. I just order it (11,59 € with free shipment to France)
I've just got delivery of a 12000 mAh portable charger. Will update on it's effectiveness when I've had a chance to test with my N7 & N4.

i just bought an Anker astro3 for £25.99 from amazon uk.
10,000mAh @ 3Amps total output from 2 ports.
it's about 10% bigger and heavier than the N4
i also have the Tecknet 7000mAh / 2.1A equivalent which is about 20% smaller/ lighter than the anker
and a just mobile pp08 4400mAh /1a which is about 1/2 the size/ weight of the Tecknet

not much to say really. they all do what they say on the label. i find myself using the "just mobile" one the most on account of its small size and get ~1.9 charges out of it; and the others proportionately more according to their rating.
the 2A+ current rating (and dual outputs) on the bigger packs i find useful for charging tablets, cameras etc. simutaneously.
great products, you can't go wrong with any of them really. hope this helps.
I got this one for Christmas: http://amzn.com/B005K7192G
So far, I really love it! I can charge my Nexus 7 and my Nexus 4 with it and still have son juice left over. The flashlight feature is kinda handy (it never hurts to have an extra flashlight!) And I like knowing how much power is left. The versatility of being able to charge any USB device is cool too. It charges pretty fast too. I can plug it into my phone, stream internet radio and listen to it through my bluetooth headphones and it still charges the battery on the phone! Overall, its just super handy to have (I didn't have any kinda backup power supply before).
Good luck,
Billy

Hi guys,
is anyone using any of these when out and about.
Are there any reviews or recommendations for some good battery cell manufactured chargers.
there is so many on ebay and amazon, its hard to tell which ones retain charge and are good quality and which ones are cheap rubbish
I don't know how it will work out in terms of long term reliability, but I have this one:
EasyACC 12000 mAh
It seems to work pretty well. It charges as fast as the stock charger on the high output ports per the Samsung Galaxy charge app thing. As you can see...460+ reviews and 4.5 stars so there is some evidence that it is a good product. It was highlighted back in May on Android Police so I picked one up.

I have the New Trent iCarrier which is 12000mAh but I don't use it for my phone... I use it for my tablets. It works fine for me. It has two USB ports which is nice if I need to have two things going. Not sure how long it takes to charge... I've always just left it plugged in overnight when needed.
Anker makes exceptional products for the price.

I got one that is similar in specs as a gift and it has worked as advertised. I will probably replace it an Anker in the near future. You can charge your S4 relatively quick with any of the 2A chargers. These things take forever to completely charge though. Mine only has a 1A input, so It'll take around 10hrs to go from 0 to 100. If that isn't an issue, any battery pack should do.

Any cheap backup batteries yet ? Ideally with wall charger.
I think the only one available right now is the stock Samsung batteries. You might be able to find a 50% off coupon. It comes with a battery charger. However I would wait for a company like Anker to release 3rd party backup batteries because I've found 3rd party batteries to have longer battery life than the stock batteries.
There is nothing. It's funny cause I had the G3 before this and there were a few preorders on Amazon already. I would think there would be more for the Note 4. What sucks is, Samsung had the spare battery with a charger for $20 but it sold out real quick. Who know's when that will come back in stock. I put my email down to know when they come back in stock, but I have done that before and never heard anything.

I can't post links yet because I'm a new user, but go to ebay and search for note 4 batteries. There is one from China that has a picture of three batteries and a charger.
I've used these batteries for my Note II and Note 3. They work great for about 9 months to a year. They still hold a charge after that time, but not as well as the stock battery. The stock battery will eventually crap out too; all batteries do. It's a great deal at $20 for three batteries and a charger. I also prefer to use this charger instead of the one that comes with the phone because it charges more slowly and will give you more charge cycles on your batteries. I would also disable fast charging unless you're desperate for juice because you will get fewer charge cycles out of your batteries before they start to suck.

Exactly this!
Batteries are not something people should cheap out on, for the sake of only £10 or so! Nearly all the cases posted around the internet of people's phones going up in smoke are due to cheap, third party batteries and/or chargers. Then there's the issue that most cheap third-party replacement batteries will have far less than the advertised capacity.
They're just a risk that is not worth it.

Did you bought those from China? How is it? Anyone knows?
I love the made in China batteries.
I understand the concerns with using a cheap battery, but I've used the ones on ebay for years now without any problems or harm to my devices. The savings are not a mere 10 quid. You get three batteries for half the price of one. The made in China batteries definitely don't last as long as the stock battery, but I've never seen one blow up and I'm not afraid or concerned about it ruining my phone.
There is one legitimate drawback compared to the stock battery though. The NFC chip is embedded in the battery on the note 4 so if you use NFC a lot then clearly you should stick with a stock battery.
I hardly ever use NFC so I'll still use the made in China battery from ebay.

I agree 100% with you. I am not worried about the battery blowing up. Its rare. And for my S3 and Epic prior to that they served their purpose. Backup for when you run out of power.
However, based on other thread if I can buy Samsung's for 50% off battery and charger ($20-$25) I would do it, just OOS.
Yeah, personally I have bought those cheap Chinese batteries off of Ebay, and I don't think they are worth it. I'm not worried about them ruining my phone, that is very unlikely. They just don't last long enough. I'm waiting for a reputable company to come out with a set with a charger. Like Anker. That usually runs about $30 bucks with 2 batteries and a charger compared to what $80 for the Samsung one. Even if they are .01% more likely to ruin my phone, that doesn't warrant spending an extra $50 like some people would lead you to believe.

Anker are very good, and not cheap as OP was talking about. I would use Anker but not a cheap option.
But Anker hasn't been to quick to get batteries out. I would suggest buying the Caseology batteries when they become available on Amazon. They always put up a preorder with a really good price but a ship date that is a month away. I always resist ordering it hoping that something will come sooner but they are usually the first and by the time they ship they are more expensive. And they get pretty good reviews.
FWIW, when I went to charge the batteries for our trade in phones, both stock batteries couldn't hold a charge at all.. BUT the cheap extended batteries I'd purchased from china had no issues at all.
(As a matter of fact, one of the stock batteries had developed that battery bulge we've heard about, and I couldn't even put the back on the phone with it in!)

Odds are we'll see quick chargers paired with 2 batteries on ebay soon for $12 shipped or so, similar to other phone battery options.
Since that's less than 50% the cost of the Sammy's I'll just wait for a week or two for them.
there are several on eBay just be careful as some are just 3000 MAH and some are 5400 MAH so just choose wisely if you decided to buy from eBay but most offer 2/3 batteries for 15$ or so

can you post which coupon code you used? because the ones i'm finding aren't valid even on the other current in stock accessories.
Keep an eye on this thread for coupon codes.
I've just bought a used N910F and wanted to get myself some spare batteries and an external charger. I've just moved up from a Note 3 and previously, an S3 LTE and had multiple batteries for both, with external chargers and I'd like to get the same for the Note 4.
I'm based in the UK and so I'm somewhat limited to what products I can get hold of. I'd like to get one of the Samsung external charger but I was wondering - as these are just running from the mains charger that you're using to charge the phone, is there any issue buying one of the non-Sammy, generic ones? I'd assume that the charger takes care of any overcharging issues - is that correct? If anyone has a link to any cheap genuine Samsung units, I'd be very pleased to have a look. I found one for £30 at Amazon, but it's a 1-3 month wait!
As for spare batteries, I've always gone for the Anker batteries and found them pretty good, and it's looking as though that's the only option for me at the mo - Amazon have them for £14 shipped where as the Powercell units are over £18. Any genuine ones for around £20? I'm not about to waste my money on the ebay cheapies!
Thanks for your time guys! :fingers-crossed:
Amazon buy anker,mpj,etc
I just recently purchased a standard Samsung battery from Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VIK5DOY
Although there are cheaper options, I made sure that I selected the one that was sold by Amazon themselves on the basis that they are very unlikely to sell fakes - the one I got for £10.63 with next day delivery on Prime certainly seems genuine to me.

Thanks for getting back to me with an actual product. How is the battery holding up? I'm really happy with the Anker one I bought - I'm getting about 1.5 days of moderate use and 5+ hours of SOT between charges. I don't use NFC at the mo so I don't know if this supports it, but as things stand I'd be happy to get another one or two. Does anyone know how to tell if theses "genuine Samsung" batteries are indeed, genuine? I remember reading up on it when I had the Note 3 and it was really tricky visually.
What about these external chargers - anyone had any experience of the non-Samsung ones?

The battery works fine for me, and is a definite improvement on the tired genuine battery it replaced.
Well, I've bought, what's labelled as a "genuine samsung extra battery kit". It's currently charging the enclosed battery in the external cradle. I'll try it in the phone to check if the NFC works to be sure that the battery is a genuine Sammy one, but any ideas on how to check the charging cradle?
Just bought a replacement battery direct from the Samsung UK site - £25 but worth it for the peace of mind. Free delivery.
EDIT: Ordered at 5:00pm, it's now the next morning and my battery has arrived - great speed for free delivery! (Now, if only Samsung could get their firmware updates out as fast!)
EDIT: Genuine Samsung packaging (with the window on the front of the box, and a plastic container for the battery) and manufacture date of last month, so fresh off the assembly line
I've just charged up the battery that came in the "kit". Appearance wise it looks identical (but dont most of them?!) but I just tried it with NFC and that worked - I thought the fakes didn't have the NFC chip - or have some of them started adding it or have I just got a genuine one for a really good price?!

I've looked around with no luck. Considering that most of the "lipstick" ones must have a regular 18650 battery inside, the 3A output is *amply* inside the range of good batteries output (several manufacturers offer 18650 batteries capable of constant 10A output with 3.500mAh capacity, I hope that there are products like this.

There aren't many. Your best bet is the one that tronsmart makes. It's available from Amazon for 30 bucks.
I ended up going with the ravpower 20,100mah USB c bank, it sorta fits in my pocket.

I suppose you are referring to this: http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-presto-10400
While interesting is different from what I'm seeking. 6p has got a 3.500mAh battery, I would be good with a power bank worth one full charge. I come from a Note 3 and I always went out with a spare battery in my bag. Weight was less than 100g and size... well it's a Note 3 battery, I think the idea is clear. Now the "lipstick" shaped power banks are the right size and given their capacity it's obvious they have a 18650 inside... but I can't find any supporting USB C fast charging (5V/3A).
This seems interesting, too bad it's not buyable anywhere at the moment (not that I can find, I'm in Europe).
^That looks cool...

Yes it does. To be honest I'm surprised at the dearth of products on offer that support USB-C fast charging. It's been adopted on enough phones that I was expecting something more in the sub 10,000mAh range. Bringing a 10,000mAh with you is beyond the scope of even heavy phone use on a daily basis. Whereas I can see myself needing to top up at most one full charge during a day. For that, considering the loss due to efficiency, a 4,000mAh power bank would be enough for Nexus and other phones.
Let's hope that this LeEco power bank comes to US/Europe soon (or at least to websites such as GearBest and GeekBuying).
The official product webpage: http://cn.lemall.com/product/products-pid-1001514.html
I can recommend the ORICO 10000mAh usb-c battery pack.
It's not 3A, but 2.4A, however it still charges my Nexus 6P in about 1h 30m.
The good thing is that it supports charging two devices at the same time (one over the usb-c, and one over the standard usb port).
It also looks great, it's worth checking out.
I think there's a review of it here on xda.

after having this phone for about a year, the battery health has gone down so that it is almost always dead by 7-8pm now.. and carrying around a battery has become absolutely necessary in case I go out for dinner or drinks w/ friends after work...
when I have my bag w/ me.. the Orico is fine but when I'm going out w/ just a jacket.. I would like a smaller lipstick sized solution too..
Its frustrating that even after a year (and now w/ launches of the Pixels), its still so hard to find USB-C accessories :-/

Thank for the help.

Ever seen this one? It's size is manageable, it's a GMYLE 10000mAh and has a micro USB in, just in case you don't have a type C cable around
Thanks, but I really would like something that took the 18650 battery form factor and built a charger around it. I know their capacity, I know they are more than enough for whatever need I might have. Once I have a full charge with me I'm set. Unfortunately I'm not finding it... I might even accept to forfeit the USB C fast charging capacity if there was one...
I use this one and I love it. Also has a nice extra usb port so you can charge your 6P alongside another device, or charge a device while the battery pack charges. I get probably 3 full charges out of it.

Single 18650 requires voltage step up and won't fill the battery, biggest 18650 I've seen is 3400 mah. That is about the size of 6p battery but its not a 100% efficient process. You lose some from the step up to 5 volts and lose some to heat and some to resistance of connectors and cable.

I use and love the aukey one. I think is around 15000mah. It's nice and slim. And it charges faster than my 3a car charger from aukey lol

...While interesting is different from what I'm seeking.

Check out this one here. Although the Ebay website's description is incomplete, other websites clearly indicate the Aukey PB-Y5 is capable of 5V-3A output. Looks like the ticket for one full charge. Unfortunately they are not shipped from the US yet so I will wait. Credit goes to MrTemz.
LeEco power bank
This one works rather well for me. The US link to the same company mentioned above.

Oh man, THANK YOU. Even better ('cause it saves me a little money), I found the AUKEY PB-Y8 which is only for USB Type C. In Europe, Amazon carries it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Cell-Pho...-Input-Output-Cable-Devices-Nexus/B01M0UEMYV/ (not only for UK). Thank you so much!
