Recommended smartphone with good custom ROMs support? - General Topics

Hi,
I want to buy second hand (probably) smartphone, with good custom ROM support.
I prefer non-American manufacturers and non-Chines, and not Nexus phones. It can be high end old generations smartphone (like the Galaxy S4).
I want 5"-5.1" size smartphone and it should support LTE.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.

And

But I don't know who is good??
Please advise me a good phone and its price is low ??
They both seem to be Samsung variants. The first seems to be akin to the S3 while the second is more comparable to the S2. Based on that alone I would go for the S3 variant as it seems to be the more powerful of the two. Ultimately it will depend on what you plan to use it for...

[Q] Which phone should i choose

I have started my smartphone era with nokia n82 and then moved to htc picco and then to samsung gt s7562. As i always wanted to get the best out of my phone i was a hacked user of n82 with rom patcher. Limitations of htc picco made me to root it again i did the same with my samsung and added a custom rom to fullfill my needs. Now i am planning to move on to a next level but the big question in my mind is WHICH SHOULD BE MY NEXT SMART PHONE ? anyway no matter which model it is, its not going to be a lucky one  can anyone suggest a brilliant idea to choose it

[Q] MOST Support Phone?

I am about to buy a new phone. So my questions are as follows:
1.) What Carrier has the most active phone being worked on by developers?
2.) Which phones (regardless of carrier) have the most devoted developers working on them?
Note: Basically i want to be able to be a flash addict and try new ROMS with new features made by decent developers (Although beginner or pro, all programmers deserve respect).
What are your guys opinions on the best Android phone to get? My carrier currently is MetroPCS but i might move to T-Mobile. I do not like big screens. The biggest screen i could probably deal with is the Galaxy S5 and that's because i use the hip clip.
I am leaning towards the Galaxy S5 (Upgrade from the S4).... The Sickness makes AWESOME ROMS for the M919 and i'm looking for a new phone with a similar caliber developer that's just as devoted as him.
ANY opinions or direct answers to my questions are greatly appreciated.
Another aspect the phone should have is that it has a great kernel... I LOVE the KT Kernel. Stability and profiles make it so easy to overclock/underclock.
Thanks in advance!!

Which handset I should buy?

Hello!
I need your kind suggestion as I am looking to buy a new phone for me. According to my purchasing ability I can afford following handsets.
1. Samsung Note 3
2. LG G2
3. LG G2 Pro
4. Nexus 5
5. Iphone 5
Currently I am using Xperia Arc. I usually do not use handsets. If I buy any handset, then surely I will use for next 1 and 1.5 years. I need a device which will have better and faster data service, exchange mail service, handset apps, camera, longer battery life and good camera option.
I am confused. Please suggest me which handset I should purchase among them. You can also suggest other handset. Please also mention the reason why should I buy!
Looking forward to your suggestion.
Thanks,
Shimu

[Q] Need rec for QWERTY phone

Hi all,
I need to get back to a QWERTY phone, but not sure which one to buy and from where.
The criteria are:
- Android (don't care about the version)
- swappable battery (or eventually user replaceable with a bit of effort like say iphone 4s)
- decent screen size
- 4g support (going to be used in the UK).
In terms of where I can buy it, the options are Hong Kong, India, and of course the UK.
I've read quite a few of the threads, but models either need hardware mods (Photon Q), are USA only (Samsung Stratosphere), or don't support 4G (Galaxy relay). I'm sure someone out there who knows their phones has worked this out, but if not, any pointers/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Raj
